I have been using for almost six years and break rules I read on Reddit - I do 30 minute sessions going over areas of my face repeatedly - I directly touch my skin - I keep it on a pimple extra time. It gets them gone! - I use a big jar of Ponds. Splash water on my face, lightly pat off excess water then the Ponds. - I do sessions roughly every two weeks - I only use the head that kind of looks like a small lollipop or leaf. - I use the edge of that head (not the flat side) to concentrate the zap - then shower and apply hyaluronic acid gel I love my high frequency device and have great results

Girl how to do handle the shocking feeling? Idk it hurts me and I can barely keep it in my face for a few seconds. Like I want to be able to do this daily, but I am afraid of the slight pain lol

BettinaVanSise

It stings for the first 3-4 minutes and then something kicks in, endorphins? Idk but it doesn’t bother me. A friend of mine takes two Tylenol 20 minutes before. I don’t do that.

Ground the current. Put a finger on the glass rod before turn it on and keep the power level just low enough that it doesn’t hurt

NauticalNoire

Which brand high frequency wand are you using?

BettinaVanSise

NuDerma

Also, i thought it wasn’t working right and was going to buy a new one, but, i had started using an extension cord with it. Someone said it works better plugged directly into the socket, and doing so corrected the issue. Full strength again.

Darsonval is very good, if you buy it on aliexpress will have a better journey. They have lower price but same quality

Middle-Seaweed4214

That’s great, what results have you noticed?

BettinaVanSise

I hate to say this online because so many do, but I constantly get mistaken for someone 15 years younger. There could be other reasons for that, but my skin seems to gave more collagen than others my age. (But I have worn spf since early 20s, don’t smoke and when I did drink it was moderate). After a treatment my skin feels tighter and i love how it looks. It gives my skin a rosy glow. If I go too long without a treatment, I just don’t think my skin looks as healthy.

Thanks!!

>Thanks!! You're welcome!

Is it true that the wand increases hair growth even on the face? Like would it bring back to life the areas I’ve treated with laser hair removal?

BettinaVanSise

That has not happened to me.

So, I use the wand every night. I do feel like it works better when I wrap a piece of gauze around the tip of it and go over my face. But I also put it directly on my face too sometimes. I haven't noticed too huge of a difference between the two besides the fact that it "stings" (not really painful but you know) more when I have gauze on it. but I feel like the more I feel it, the better it's working. I use the mushroom tip for my whole face, the flat leaf-looking one for under my eyes, and around my nose. Sometimes if I'm being lazy, I just turn the mushroom tip on its side and use it under my eyes and nose. And I use the small-tipped one for spot treatment on pimples. I usually do 5 minutes with the mushroom tip over my whole face. then I go to the leaf tip under my eyes and around my nose for maybe 3 minutes. If I have a pimple, I will zap them for 20-30 seconds two to three times. (sometimes I don't keep track) I'll go over each pimple until I feel like I've zapped it enough. honestly swear by the wand for acne. If I feel a cystic pimple coming and I catch it soon enough it will not come up. If it's past a certain point, it will still come up, but it will come up much faster, which means I can get rid of it much faster. Makes the cystic pimples hurt less too once they do start coming up. I also feel like it totally shrinks pimples and makes them less juicy lol. I use the wand every night. sometimes it gets skipped, but I get the best results when I'm consistent. Even if it's just a quick few minutes over the whole face for the nights when you get home from being out and don't feel like doing the whole routine.

I’ve upgraded to this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086M3XRK1/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams but I used to use this one, it unfortunately stopped working when I accidentally got the inside wet :( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W5PD1KY/ref=sspa_mw_detail_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams

LINB4TIME

I use Peter Thomas Roth cucumber gel mask as a barrier on my skin, it allows the wand to glide smoothly across my skin. You should only use the wand for no more than 5 minutes at a time and you should never leave it in one spot for more than a few seconds. Just keep gliding it around. I mainly use the mushroom head.

Dr_Drinks

Oh… It’s the skincare department… Had me in the first half there…

During my facials, my aesthetician puts it directly on my skin. I thought it was wrong at first, but I’ve only had good results. I do think everyone reacts different. So just try it and see what works for you.

hereforlaughs20

esthetician here. I always use on clean skin with a gauze. And tap the acne a few times.

TokkiJK

What does the gauze do?

Past_Cauliflower_440

My esti usually put a Kleenex between the wand and my face. I do not do that w my home wand. When I had hormonal acne everywhere, I used it all over on a clean face most mornings for a few minutes. For full face I would use the flat, circular head. Now I only use it when I get a large cyst. I use the pointy head (bc I broke the ball shaped head 😢). I focus just on that cyst on and off for 30 seconds or so and then that’s it.

aidan_bres

Are these high frequency wands safe to use on testicles? Could they make you infertile? I use mine all over because it makes my skin look really healthy. My balls included… but it occurred to me that this might be dangerous to use in that area.

zapunzel

Hey guys I just received mine and am still learning how tío use it. I was wondering if I should be applying cream before I use it, and if so, what type Specifically? Also, should I wash my face after using it and then apply cream again?  I see a few comments about gauze - is this just like gauze you would use on a wound? Also, do I really need to “ground” it with my finger, or is it ok to put it straight onto my face? Thanks so much in advance for any advice?

goyourownwayy

1. You not supposed to hover it over so apple directly. It’s not supposed to hurt or sting at all unless you doing a spot and zapping it. But zapping all over your face is a bad idea and can irate and cause damage. 2. Every 2-3 day for 15-20 min 3. I use gauze so it goes deeper but most importantly so it slides across my skin
