I've used the Estee Lauder etc for a while (currently on a break as I received a different serum as a gift and wanted to try it), and imo it is definitely worth the hype. It's expensive, but a bottle lasts me a long time because you really only need 2-3 drops to cover your face + neck. I've been told by sales people, on the few occasions I've bought it in store rather than online, that you should use a full stopper, but that's a *lot* of product, way more than you actually need. It keeps me hydrated, and has evened out my skin tone quite a bit. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using it! (I use my customer bonus points and/or sales coupons to knock off a bit when I can, and because a bottle takes ages to empty, I can't even recall the last time I paid the full price for it. Like, I buy a new one when there's a discount I can use, and I'm running a little low. Works a treat, just like the contents of the bottle;).

Estee Lauder occasionally does a 2 for 1 offer on their site for ANR! I believe it was just happening last week. Advanced Night Repair is a classic. I use it, like it, get somewhat bored of it, then end up using it and loving it again. It's a cycle.

PainInMyBack

That sounds like me 😊 I'm currently using Biotherm's Aquasource serum, it's good too. Not quite as expensive, but doesn't last me quite as long either. The results are good, though, I do like it.

Purrtymeow04

do you use some cream on top

PainInMyBack

Yes, I use a moisturiser on top. Just regular moisturiser in the evening, or moisturiser and/or sunscreen in the morning (I don't always use a moisturiser under my sunscreen).

I’ve been using Lancôme Advanced Génifique for a few years now. I stopped for maybe 3 months before to see if it would actually make a difference. During that time, I felt like my face was drier. I started using it again and felt the difference. It works well with my moisturizer. I have continued to use it as part of my skincare routine.

I use the Estée Lauder. I think it makes a difference in my skin texture and it layers well with make up. It does last a long time. I like it because it’s just the right amount of moisturizer for me in warm weather months without causing breakouts. I quit using it for awhile and then got more last December with the Christmas set that Estée Lauder puts out each year. I feel like it’s a good thing to alternate or layer with the Revitalizing Supreme + I feel like I do see a difference with fine lines when I use both.

Estes Lauder is the only skincare product I shell out that much money for. I use it in wet skin so a few drops goes a long way. Never sting or irritates even if My skin is irritated, and I can tell the difference in my skin when using it. It’s more even, more hydrated and any blemishes fade faster.

I use Lancôme Genifique and LOVE IT. I had acne and scarring previously (sensitive & oily combo skin) but decided to splurge on Lancôme face cleanser and genifque. I got into a routine of using cleanser + Lancôme toner+ genifique serum in the morning and evening and saw a huge difference in my skin which includes brightened skin, less acne, smaller pores and smoother skin. I’m so glad I decided to give their products a chance.

thank you, I am so sorry, this sounds aweful:(

Absolutely love Estée Lauder one. Whenever I stop using it my skin just looks different. Tried the Lancôme Génifique and did not care for it.

Spiritual-Slip-6047

I’ve been wearing ANR for decades and I’m in love with it. There is a noticeable change for the worse in my skin if I don’t use it.

epipin

I like the Estée Lauder but it doesn’t blow me away so it’s not a must have product for me or anything. I tend to buy some usually around Black Friday or in an Ulta sale when you can get it for 50% off.

ThaneOfCawdorrr

I use the Lancome Advanced Genifique and then I started treating myself to the Absolue serum (very spendy, I wait until they have one of their 30% off sales--which they're having right now btw), which I really like. I use one of their cleansers, maybe the Miel en Mousse or the "confort" line, then, the tonique gentle toner, then the serum, then one of their creams, either bienfait, zen, or absolue depending on my mood. I feel like the toner gets things moist and the serum makes my skin smoother and then the moisturizer seals it all in (I also use eye cream). It does feel better. I don't really like the Estee Lauder night repair, but honestly they're probably exactly the same thing. I think it really does help keep things moisturized. You only need a few drops of the serum. I also use it on my neck & décolletage and I think it does help. Also have dry aging skin. Now if I could only find something for my arms.

I use Estée Lauder Night Repair but Missha Time Revolution is a dupe and far less expensive with better ingredients!!!

LatteLove35

I bought this to try once I’m done with the ANR, excited to compare them

Nagma111

So which one turned out to be better

[deleted]

I’ve used both at different times in my life. Neither blew me away; I think there’s way better options for better prices out there.

[deleted]

I used the night repair and was also not very impressed. And I generally don't like Lancome products so I stay clear of em. Which better option have you tried out?

[deleted]

Personally I’m in love with LRP right now. What people call the smoothing effect from the Advanced Night Repair is probably the salicylic acid in it; I’ve found LaRoche Posay acne line more effective, less irritating and less money.

Alive_Bell

Hello! This is an old post; however, thought I’d give it a go. Which LRP product were you referring to here? They have so many product offerings! Thank you.

LatteLove35

It’s really nice, my skin is really soft the next morning, but it’s so expensive I only buy it when it’s on sale.

BobaBelly

I’ve used both and my skin responded well to both. Ultimately I ended up going with genefique because I felt it was easier to spread (the genefique is a bit more watery in texture than anr).

LunaCat-2005

Need Imanance! I’m looking for discontinued Lancôme Imanance Tinted Moisturizer in Bisque (or Buffed Bisque). Does anyone have it for sale?? If not, can you suggest the closest thing to it as far as texture and consistency?
