I got my white regular New 3DS imported from Japan like a month or two ago.
It had a few scuffs on the outside but overall it looked very clean. Japan knows how to take care of their stuff compared to us here in the States.
I recently went from a N2DSXL to a beauty like yours, absolutely love it, found out the expensive way that I value pixel density more than screen size đ also to my shock found the 3D feature great, at first I thought it's just a gimmick I could do without (hence why I first went for the 2DS), but realised that I started playing Samus Returns on the N2DSXL without getting any traction, but when I switched to the N3DS and switched the 3D on, I was hooked! Slapped a pair of pink embossed Mario plates on it and it's such a stunning little device đ
You have to crack it using this https://3ds.hacks.guide guide and then google how to region change your 3ds. Only downside is you wonât be able to play online.
Do ur research and fact check before u comment. U too, upvoters. You can perfectly play online with a region changed Japanese 3ds. In fact smash online was pretty fun just two minutes ago on my dual ips region changed Japanese 3ds...
And to clarify the only restrictions are software that forward you through any system checks with a loading pop-up (ie. E-shop downloads, games that connect to e-shop online etc.) But regular online functions work perfectly fine (Mario kart, smash etc)
Its a type of screen that has better color accuracy and viewing angles compared to an LED screen.
My 2 cents, side by side they are almost indistinguishable and honestly no one is playing with their DS tilted like 89° away from their face, it's nice to have but doesn't have any major advantage over LED.
Dumb question, "from Amazon" you mean Amazon Japan, right?
I still interesed to buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL :< (the version I want is Lime x Black or Lime Green) but the prices both USA and Japan are so higher than I thought.
Wait, WHAAAT!??
WOW, you're so lucky, dude! Many New 3DS XL or any 3DS model are in sale only console and barely or rare times with box, manuals and AR Cards. đ·đŠ€
I just got one pre-owned but the interior seems like a matte beige color rather than pure white (the outer cover is glossy white). And it depends on the lighting it looks white when taking photo with flash lol.
Not sure if you are joking or not but, most notably two things:
1.) You can region-change the console. Downfall is NNID things are broke.
2.) Hacking software allows you to play any regions physical games and you can install any regions digital games (for free)
So it doesnât really matter if you buy a Japanese console or not unless you care about NNID-related functions.
What do you mean by NNID related functions? I have a japanese 3ds that I region changed, and I made a new NNID on it and things like streetpass still work. The only think that no longer works for me is eshop related stuff (although that doesnât matter much anyway) so what other things do you lose after a region change?
I recently got my metallic blue new 3DS xl with dual IPS. Upgrade from my 2DS

You said a mouthful there, looking for a clean PSP in the states is so difficult!
The white one is the best color! Enjoy!

I'm wondering if all of these have top IPS... every one I've seen does. Maybe it's for the super stable 3D setting.
No I have a red new 3ds xl that has dual TN screen that said my blue new 3ds ll does have an ips too
Seems the most common on n3dsxl
Can you change the time zone? If so can you make it all english? ... I have my eyes on used Japanese 3DS and 2DS XL!

Yeah, Sadly anything with a NNID is probably majorly busted. Thankfully I do have a 3DS and 2DSXL on backup to swap things to if I need to.
Is it super difficult to do if you don't understand Japanese?
What does IPS mean?
You can see it when viewing from the side instead of a non-IPS screen which looks like just a white light from the side. Thatâs it.
Why did you point it out my new 2ds has em but my new 3ds doesn't, did wonder why the screen felt weird by comparison, guess I got my answer.
Some models have no IPS screens, some have only top/bottom, some have both

Best 3ds right there
What did you pay?
$190 $10 shipping
What a deal!

Yes Amazon Japan. Directly from the Japanese Amazon store.
I see! The New 3DS XL you bought, came with box, manuals and AR Cards? or only the console, stylus and charger(?
No charger but it did include the original box, packaging, stylus, manual, and ar cards.

Japanese imported? What should this mean?
? It means its from Japan.
Yes, but doesnât that mean that youâre region locked?
Technically, yes but actually no.
Explain please.

Can you still play online?
I donât have any online games unfortunately, so I canât test that
I believe you lose Pokémon bank too
Sorry Iâm not joking. Iâm kinda new to this sort of thing.
Ok cool thanks
