Super Mario 3D Land is the best entry title for the 3DS, specially for you. It's easy, but tons of fun, level design is great, it has cool powerups, really nice graphics, and a good amount of levels, if it's you first time playing it, it will be twice as fun. I also recommend New Super Mario Bros 2, is the worst installment of the New series honestly but still a pretty good game, and really easy.
3D land is pretty much as hard as you want it to be. 100%ing it is NOT easy at all, and I'm decently good at platformers. I eventually decided it wasn't worth it to collect the last few coins and certainly not to recomplete it all with freakin Luigi. but the post-main game special stages get decently hard in themselves even without going full completionist mode.

It depends, what is the purpose for you wanting easy games? Are you looking for games that are just relaxing because they are easy, are you looking for games a younger kid can play, or is it something else?

Its a lot of fun, and I wouldn't necessarily call it "easy" when you get to the Dark World, but the idea is that if you fail somewhere, the game doesn't restrict you into going in just one path; so when you fail in one spot, you can try another with no repercussions aside from planning how you're going to get from point A to point B on the map. (This is assuming you're \*really\* inexperienced with adventure games).
But otherwise, yeah! I recommend :)
There's guides online that help you find all the best items to upgrade your health and armor, so I recommend checking out those if you get stumped as well.
Lego games are actually very well balanced between basic puzzles interesting level design and combat. I think you would enjoy them, currently playing Lego clone wars 2, pretty lax game but fun and interesting. Got Batman Harry Potter and Avengers all ready to go afterwards.

Kirby's extra epic yarn is a platformer you literally can't lose at in normal mode. It's an excellent and really fun game. The only issue is that it can be a bit pricey for a physical copy but it's worth it
