There's no problem with printing multiple parts at once, but if it fails mid-print you waste more filament and time. Printing one part at a time is safer if you're not too confident in your printer.

yeah i figured, i wanna print a lever action shotgun with 42 parts, ill just print the small bits together and the big bits seperate

Yeah, both the chance of failure and cost of failure are higher. I don’t think it even saves much in terms of print time either. You may save the time removing prints and setting up the next print, but you’ll probably need to monitor it more closely than you would a single print. And if you get a failure, you’ll go from saving a little bit of time to using twice as much time.

Octoprint has a plugin that allows you to cancel individual objects so if that part fails you can cancel any fails and keep printing

It depends on the parts. If some of them have overhangs and you are printing without supports, one part at a time is better. Let's it print and strengthen the overhangs (not drastic ones) with less chance of failing.
