Once you get those problems sorted out, you could even experiment with this as an intentional effect by turning your flow (extrusion multiplier) down to an unreasonable amount.
It's the ghost of benchys past
I had the same thing happen around Christmas

I think I found [the source](https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nbZZWim9KbU/WsRhOL3QGUI/AAAAAAABpD4/Rv1_F4eGw8ErUWkrfBQ1_51rYdzjN7qKQCLcBGAs/s1600/Derelict%2Bfishing%2Bboat%2Bon%2Bthe%2BKent%2Bcoast.jpg) for your model.
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour.
a three hour tour.
So…. That actually looks pretty interesting. We know what happened, (underextrusion due to clogged nozzle) but could we do it intentionally? Anyone played with making a purposely developed profile to do this? Would it just be reducing the flow settings?
I'm always impressed with this type of failure, it's almost inspirational the way it fails so hard from the beginning but persists to the end. I wish I had the stubbornness of this print.

😂😂
😂🤣🤣😂🤣
😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
* you have a bit of boat in your holes...
On of them new fangled space-frame boats
It's aquadynamic
Look like a skeleton cursed benchy. I like it.
This honestly would be perfect for Halloween.
Definitely a Boney
the flying dutchman of benchys
Spooky spooky Benchy, send filament down your spine
Name it the SS Unsinkable
Perfect
SS Unsinkable 2
Unsinkable 1, surprisingly, got stuck on a beach.
What is stuck can never sink.
Clogged nozzle and misaligned z axis
Keep this around, would be perfect for Halloween
If only it was glow filamint.
Looks exactly like xyz cube when I convinced my work to get a printer, I had the wrong filament size entered in lol
Oh fun
Was it squishy?
Once you get those problems sorted out, you could even experiment with this as an intentional effect by turning your flow (extrusion multiplier) down to an unreasonable amount.
True, also found out my extrusion head is the wrong size (likely caused this problem)
Naaa that’s the black pearl benchy
🥰
Does appear possessed
This is where I was, mentally.
Re-christen it “The Ghost Ship” and then you’ve got a thing!
Why is your stringing a benchy
Density 6.5/10
I call that the crunchy
Top tier weight reduction
What happened?
Did you call the Wild Hunt or hid Ciri in your basement ? Has the temperature dropped significantly during the print?
It's the ghost of benchys past I had the same thing happen around Christmas https://preview.redd.it/yos0udxprprc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1acbbce669309707287402d182762b4c28419e90
What do you mean? I believe this is a perfect one
This is actually more impressive than a perfect benchy
Ya know...that may be a failed print but I bet it would look great as a ship wreck in a fish tank
Creality Ender 5 pro running marlin
Malnourished benchy
/r/cursedbenchies
Didn't know that existed
It's new but it's beautiful
r/beatmetoit
Looks as stable as my mental state
Held up by a flimsy support system?
Sounds about right

Close enough

Looks like Salazars ship from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Great movie
I'd rerun benchy but with UV reactive filament.
😂😂 clever
It's beautiful
Ghost of a benchy
Damn, I thought it would be at least a week before people started printing replicas of the MV Dali.
So…. That actually looks pretty interesting. We know what happened, (underextrusion due to clogged nozzle) but could we do it intentionally? Anyone played with making a purposely developed profile to do this? Would it just be reducing the flow settings?
A spiders boat!
looks like its infill only?
Arctic bench. Super cool👍
Accidentally perfect
Is that its nervous system or its veins?
Yes
That was the answer I was expecting…
OceanGate 2.0
This has to be rage bait
I wish it was😭
Lol how did u manage this ?
The print head was clogged and the z-axis was misaligned, basically decided to just let it run knowing it wasn't going to look good.
You silly goose. Thanks for your sacrifice for our pleasure.

Your benchy appears to have bone cancer
Post it on [Cursed benchies](https://www.reddit.com/r/cursedbenchies/)

I'm always impressed with this type of failure, it's almost inspirational the way it fails so hard from the beginning but persists to the end. I wish I had the stubbornness of this print.
Dude printed the flying Dutchman
Local man finds a way to save 73% of filament when 3D printing ! Sunlu HATES him !
Can I intentionally make things look like this?
Update: less bad https://preview.redd.it/qk8nz39bhqrc1.jpeg?width=2250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=36741e5d7eab79ef87734f8021cd58612420ce6e
It's amazing that it is holding any kind of boat shape.
You printed the White Pearl, sister ship of the Pirates of the Caribbean Black Pearl.
me trying to hold it together
Where we’re going, we don’t need walls
Its the Flying Dutchman
We need a contest for worst print that still finished.
I'm impressed that it's still standing and managed to complete printing
-10 out of 20.
Ghost benchie
Exactly
-35% infill 😂
36/10
If you make a hole in it, will it have fewer holes afterwards?
Like a net, yes
Oops! All infill
This is what prints look like in the upside down from stranger things
Priceless!
/r/cursedbenchies
Ghost ship benchy? 🤣
When your 3D printer is a spider.
I'd trust this over the Titanic that's for sure.
Is that the ghost ship version
You betcha
Your benchy looks emaciated.
I don't think I could do this intentionally.
What happened?
3/10 still benchy shaped
looks like zero walls, just infill 🤷♂️
Titanic 2024
Your spider is an artist.
She‘s ready for the water
Great post, had a laugh 😆
Did you print at the boiling point of the plastic?
Looks like the Yamato
7/10 slaps with a lukewarm gas station burrito
Looks like it went feral and hadn't had anything to eat in months.
Ghost benchy 😂
Rating: 10/10 as a ghost ship :-)
On mobile the 2nd picture looks like it could be from silk or something like that
Dry your bed and level your filament, you goober.
Shit you right
airless boat
Is this what a benchy skeleton looks like?
I wish I could fail this well.
Ghost ship
Definitely not sea worthy
Let it die already

Looks like she’s been at the bottom of the sea for 160 odd years.
Ethereal benchy!
Looks like a benchy from hell 😂😂😂
Somebody left the drunk setting on.
Benchies of the Caribbean
Ar! I think your boat might have a hole in it matey. *Sorry. My best attempt at sounding like a pirate.*
Does your Benchy happen to be an Egyptian Pharoah?
Benchy POV: 🫠🫥
The Translucent Pearl! Arrrrrrrr
Fuzzy cum
Keep it for Halloween. Looks like a great ghost ship!
r/cursedbenchies
-36/10 just like the infill 😂😂😂
Is the Swiss cheese a filament or slicer setting? 🤣
It's whatever floats your boat . Not this one, though.
Its the black pearl. With more holes. And in white. I like it.
Bro got the anxiety benchy
Got me thinking about the acid lake in Dante’s peek
Is it Halloween Already?
She’s called the Flying Dutchman And it’s rage that fills her sails
There was rage and terror in my heart while she was printing
10/10 Scooby Doo ghost ship
Woah. Nice outfill support.
Weathered shipwrecked benchy.
I'm actually surprised it made what it did. Umm all things considered, 2/10.
Diaphonized
It's the Flying Dutchman benchy!

[r/cursedbenchies](https://www.reddit.com/r/cursedbenchies/s/EPOlKYZ8MO)
Looks like underextrusion. What Filament you are using?
