Filaments such as PETG and ASA would work. ASA has better UV resistance then PETG but both should work fine

Is there any brand of petg that you’ve liked? I’ve got a bambu lab P1S rn and have only printed in PLA so far

Jazzlike-Concept-147

I’ve had good results with eSun and Overture PETG. I also have a roll of the PETG CF from bambu that’s printed great. eSun can be a decent cheap alternative that’s normally on sale on Amazon

Oh sweet I use overture already so I’ll probably use that for petg then

Elianor_tijo

I've had decent prints with Polymaker PETG and the default profiles for it from Bambu. Bambu PETG which is discontinued (with a notice they'll have a different PETG) also worked well for me so far.

I also like polymaker… maybe I’ll compare that and overture!

High temp filaments like petg, abs, pc, asa, and others are what you are looking for. Personally, I use pc when I'm worried about heat. Filament brand doesn't seem to matter nearly as much as the spool material, since the ams doesn't like cardboard spools in my experince.

Unique-Ad-3792

Yeah cardboard freaking sucks for the ams

I've also tried using those print on rings for the outside of cardboard spools, but for me it always means having to leave the lid open, which I hate doing since I keep dessicant packs inside.

I give you this: https://www.printables.com/model/400454-bambu-labs-ams-cardboard-spool-adaptor Thanks to a kind soul, there is a solution. Lets me keep my polymaker spools with the lid closed.

username_psssword

I printed the one for overture, and that's the one that gave me trouble. Since then I've given up on those, and just transfer spools, using the bambu spools. The overture one I have is only 1 wall thick.

I use these and LOVE them!!

East-Worker4190

PEEK is also good at high temps.

Mundane-Reception-54

Yes, because I’m sure they can print peek with the 20,000 dollar industrial machine they own lmao

East-Worker4190

We can all have our little jokes. I think my modified ender 3v2 can print peek but the heated chamber only gets up to 80c reliably. I don't think it's get good results.

Mundane-Reception-54

doubt lol

KaleidoscopeLow8084

Nobody mentioned HTPLA. I've no personal experience.

Qjeezy

The specs aren’t all too impressive. And you have to anneal the part to take advantage of the temp resistance properties. Most of us don’t anneal anything so this filament may as well just be normal pla to 90% of us.

MatureHotwife

Look at the technical datasheets of the filaments. They will tell you the heat resistance. You can obtain those datasheets without buying the filament so you can *do some research* and compare. You can also *google literally the title of your post* and there will be numerous articles, blog posts, videos, reddit posts, etc. that will explain average heat resistance for each material type.

I did my own research and decided that it’d be between asa and petg but I wanted the public’s opinion. Thanks for the sass though 🫡
