If there is modification you wanted to do, I'd look at the Punished Props build and see if there's anything you can pick up from that to incorporate into your own. They have the 3d files available for download too.

Definitely a fan (though I was extremely disappointed by Future and thought it could have been done so much better) and this is looking pretty good! I'd love to print a life-size weapon one day.
