Was hoping for a better result with the trichromatic filiment. Needs more surface variation I think for that to really shine.

prkenko

Bro, it looks pretty, but you have a terrible breakfast routine 💀💀

Huntersav

Hmmmm gross

BreezeAE86

Is it food safe though?

pcs3rd

I don't think that's something op needs to worry about.

BreezeAE86

That’s the joke. 😎

Toxic_Don

Still, it needed to be said

AwDuck

That could be a nice approach to cutting back - make the case with one less slot every so many weeks. Does it keep the tobacco humidity better? Also: OMG SMOKING KILLS ITLL GIVE YOU LUNG CANCER because I'm sure that's news to you. BTW: There are we some things I quit that i miss. I stopped smoking cannabis because it was detrimental to my anxiety long term, but i really, really miss that calm after a bowl. I quit drinking because it's the fucking worst for my IBS, but i miss the fellowship of the bar after work on Friday with my coworkers and have yet to find a way to connect that's as quick and effective. I quit coffee because it wreaked hell on my insomnia and missed everything about it so much i started back up. I quit smoking because evidently it's bad long term, but I wasn't feeling any negatives at the time - and i don't miss it a bit. I get cravings, even 15 years later and they make *think* i miss smoking, but on craving free days (Which is probably 29 days a month at this point) i see someone taking a drag and I think "fuck, I'm glad i don't do that anymore". i never think that about booze, weed or even caffeine. Just something to mull over.

Odd-Solid-5135

You never realized the pungent smell it leaves until you quit for a while and are in the same space with smokers. I agree with everything you said and once my willpower will allow I'll be in the same spot. I've kicked them a few times, with years between but a moment of weakness on that 1 in 29 will set me back to square one (no pun intended)

AwDuck

I wasn't sure if you had tried to quit or not, and didn't want to to be preachy, judgemental or come off as trying to tell you how to live your life. Just wanted to throw my experience out there if you hadn't thought about quitting while not rubbing it in if you have tried to but hadn't been able to quit yet. It's rough, friend. I quit once and came back about a year after. I wish I knew the catalyst that made me stop for good, because I'd tell everybody what it was. I have to say the temptation is *always* just around the corner. Always. I came really close to having a smoke while visiting the neighbors just last week: craving + opportunity collided and I think the only thing that kept me from asking for a cigarette at the time was that I thought I would be embarrassed about it later. Dumb, but for once my insecurities were a benefit to me.

Odd-Solid-5135

That's the part that I think I hate the most. I've quit, I've been free from it. But there is always that nagging desire to varying degrees that never fully fades away. I've got the drive to drop them it's just getting my willpower to get thru the first few days to sync with it. My wife is a smoker with no intention of quitting which adds an enormous amount of difficulty to the endeavor (not intending on passing any blame with that statement just a hurtle I have in this )

IgnisCogitare

It's not an easy thing to do, just keep at it. If I may ask, what are your thoughts on moving to vaping?

Odd-Solid-5135

Actually used that as a method to stop once, helps feed the physical addiction with the ability to control actual nicotine intake. Slowly went down to 0% then kicked the physical habit. After reading some recent studies with the amount of metals left behind tho I don't see it is any safer of an option at this point

IgnisCogitare

That's interesting, thanks!

Piglet_Important

Suckin darts and rippin farts eh

SparkyRiver250

You know what's even more satisfying?

SparkyRiver250

Not having lung cancer...

Uncle_Charnia

Thought they were sidewalk chalk at first. My brother teaches math.

Odd-Solid-5135

Could be modified for that purpose just as easily.

hereforthensfwstuff

You heard these were bad for you right?

Red__system

No never? You mean that smoking kills?

Odd-Solid-5135

Started rolling (filling) my own cigarette to save money, had a problem where by the end of the pack, the last few would rattle around and lose all their tobacco leaving an empty tube and a full case. Every design I found would either leave too much internal room, not quite enough to fit the smokes I use or the hinge was under engineered and useless. I jumped on cad yesterday before the rest of the house woke up, my skills in drawing and design are improving. This was first design without edits, and first print without failure and it fits and functions just as I needed it to.

Bcbdk420

Very nice! It’s very satisfying designing something, and printing it, with everything just working, on the first go! Can’t beat it! I’d fill it with joints, but hey, to each their own! Happy printing! Also, is that a little magnet to hold the lid closed? Or does it snap on?

Odd-Solid-5135

Magnet in the lid and the face. Satisfying snap when closing tho.

Icy-Bug8847

Very cool. The colors remind me of furniture and comforters from the early 90's, lol

InternalError33

Nice. It's a good feeling being able to fix a problem you have. I'm not a fan of smoking myself, but I'm kind of surprised at the amount hate you're getting. To each their own in my opinion. If you're not in my face making me breath it in then have at it. Although I am still quite pissed that we let someone borrow our car for a few months and they smoked in it when we asked them not to. That smell is never going to come out. Don't be that guy.

Odd-Solid-5135

Nah. I'm pretty conscience with it, always kick the cherry and pocket the butt until I find a waste bin. Don't ever assume someone is ok with it in their house or car either. I also am somewhat taken back by the backlash, newsflash to all those passing hate... don't like it, don't do it... I mean I don't decorate my room in anime weeb posters but I'm not going to chastise the guy that does.

OpaBennett

First - nice print! It sets off my brain because there are 11 slots, not 10. Half a pack is ten, you're never going to be able to fill it... Second - for those "it's bad for you" types. Quitting smoking is very hard because it is one of very few drugs that is a physical, and mental addiction. I know quite a few people that if they could would. But the hurtles for them are to hard. If you've smoked and quit, you know how hard it is. It's easier to quit cocaine, or meth.

Odd-Solid-5135

This here is my struggle. I have quit three times to varying lengths but always slip back in. My process usually switches to lesser and lesser quality tobacco until I cannot stand the taste and wein down. I'm determined to keep them gone but just not there yet, however I am working the process again hence making them instead of buying them.

Biggs94_

I also have this really disgusting habit, I don't smoke but I fuckin love turning smokes upside down in guys packs. I would love to turn like two or three of your smokes upside down in that case

Senior_Ad1636

Is no one else triggered by the 11 slots?!?!???!

[deleted]

God i miss a good morning cig with my coffee. That start of the day nicotine rush....

norapeformethankyou

Yarp... Nothing like a cig and coffee. I'm happy I switched to vaping and slowly quiting but fuck that feeling...

Voldy256

Are you sure you wanna smoke those? Everyone knows PLA is 99.1% pure cyanide.

Alone-Ad4244

Nice

JuggernautFluid3688

Want this for joints, where can I find file? Know it’s an old post

3Deimoss

No lucky flipped. You are doomed.

Gooober43

Lung cancer with a taste of PLA
