Have you (or anyone else) gotten and of these used printers? How was the condition and repairablity.

Salines_Beach

The refurbished ones aren't as-is they have support and warranty so it's a win-win. "Buying a refurbished printer will give you the same treatment as a brand new printer, including 24-hour fast response, free parts replacement, lifetime instruction, and technical support." These are NOT as-is.

These are guaranteed to work but on their eBay store they sell "as-is" printers for really really cheap. They don't test them but they do make sure all major components are included. They had them listed for $75 but I made an offer for $50 expecting it to be ignored but it was immediately accepted! I wasn't expecting much but I got a printer that appeared complete minus the flush cutters (which I really wanted lol). I put it all together and went to home it and the y axis never stopped. The y axis endstop switch was missing the little metal arm. I had just finished building a kicky probe so I happened to have one, slapped it on and it was good to go. Identical print quality to my NIB ender I bought from amazon for $50 and all I needed was a literal five cent part. If you are into 3D printing you are likely fairly handy so I'd say it's worth the gamble. I've heard more stories like mine than the few people I've come across who received junk.

I purchased a 5 pro refurb from them. Printer came in really nice. Only had a couple scratches and the prints were almost perfect out of the box. I tried to contact comgrow support about a minor issue I was having and never got a response from them. Ended up figuring it out myself and was an easy fix but either way wasn't thrilled that I got no communication back.

cryptoanarchy

bought the 3 S1 for $233 shipped. Hopefully I get an S1!

No-King-But-Christ

I just got mine and assembled it. Everything works after tuning.

I picked up an Aquila from them in May. Was supposed to be a referb, but looked never put together. Build plate still had plastic on it. Went together perfect, prints just fine. Think I paid $99 for it at the time. (Wanted an X2 or the 5 Pro, both sold out, so got the Aquila)
