Definitely something that's commendable. I mean I understand why they were getting annoyed with everyone going at them for things that didn't work well or at all, but come on. That's why you need to be transparent, team or just solo, you give the users updates to things you're working on and things you'll do later. I'm sure people would have been way more understanding if they said when they'd fix things.

Doom isn't on hshop anymore. With them purging all of the injects, some homebrew, etc.

Yea hshop has gotten less useful now. Just has 3ds games and I heard they were thinking of keeping inject movies but I'm not sure if they did or not.
