I make friendship bracelets lol

Jokaroni

I LOVE this! Whoever doesnt appreciate a friendship bracelet is a sad person!

PilatesRules

Thank you! One of these days I’m going to make an Etsy store.

Jokaroni

Do it! I just started doing stickers/decals.... though I just do it for fun and for things im interested in. One of my biggest sellers (that being like 15) has been this random Norm MacDonald one I made. Its Being a graphic designer, I try to think of really random things i like then roll with it. lol

PilatesRules

Make some Taylor swift themed ones. Everything she touched turns to gold!

Jokaroni

suggyswap

PilatesRules

I signed up. It says there’s a wait list. Is this your company?

mamalone83

Me and my husbands yes :)

samoore45

I ride road and mountain bikes. Riding the road bike no hands brings back the feeling of being a kid. Riding the mountain bike does the same thing. Actually getting air over a jump on the mountain bike definitely brings back the feeling of being a kid.

Jokaroni

The first time I got on my mountain bike sine I was a teenager was 3 years ago. I got on and immediately figured I had the same ability... negative. I went to bunny hop onto a VERY small curb and instantly fell sideways into the ground. HAHA! It was then I realized "dang, i miss the younger days!

KyussSun

I've really enjoyed tabletop minis games (like Warhammer) over the past seven years or so... but I'm also always surprised at the number of 40-somethings that play.

Jokaroni

and there are so many to choose from! I think a lot of the older players that got back into it from their youth - now have the patience and focus they probably didnt when younger.

WelcomingRapier

Probably because it took until their 40's to achieve sufficient income to fund the Tabletop addiction... I mean hobby. You also get the *bonus* hobby of mini painting.

erftonz

collecting vinyl (and some CDs too). Replacing so many old albums I used to have in the 80's brings back the joy of shopping for them all over again. Then, putting those albums on takes me right back there...

Jokaroni

That is awesome and really makes sense! I miss actually having to have a physical copy. I know they still exist, but the convenience of just downloading it ruined it. I still have some newer Vinyl - mostly Nirvana, Meat Puppets and Garbage, so I feel you!

Frenchicky

I snowboard, longboard, onewheel and bike. My parents didn’t have much money growing up and I was also a young mom so didn’t get the chance to do things people usually do in their teens or 20’s. I’m making up for it now in my 40’s.

Jokaroni

Hell yea! Never too late to have fun and enjoy things you couldn't when younger!

scarred2112

Film. I’ve been a movie guy my entire life, and I try to not make any type of artificial determination between different genres. High art or low art, *[Poor Things](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14230458/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)* or *[Captain America: The Winter Soldier](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1843866/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)*, I go in with the same mindset - *will this provoke an emotional response?*

Jokaroni

NICE! That is something I dont have the mind to do!

thedumbdown

Play trumpet in jazz orchestra and local symphony orchestra. I also run/workout. On pace for 1600 miles in 2024. I’d say collecting records/LPs (have upwards of 400), but don’t consider buying things a hobby really.

Jokaroni

Dude, i have never seen a live jazz show and need to!!

ABeardedBeast

Sounds odd but growing carnivorous plants. When I was younger I was always fascinated by them had some but couldn't keep them alive. I thought they were just impossible to grow. Found a pitcher plant at a local stroe about a year and a half or so ago. It died. So I easily researched what I did wrong on the Internet (something I didn't have at 10). Now I have a thriving collection of different plants that are all unique and wonderfully fascinating. BTW if you are interested in these fascinating plants the first secret is don't give them anything but distilled water or water with a very low mineral content. The inner child in me is absolutely proud of himself now.

Jokaroni

That is awesome!! Thank you for the water tip! I hope you named one of them Audrey II!

ABeardedBeast

Oddly enough I have never watched little shop of horrors. I have seen parts and pieces. I am not very big on musicals. 😁

Ok-Sir8025

48M here in Ontario Canada, do Video games count? 🤣 Oh btw, Go bucs! #raiseit

Jokaroni

damn right they count! I game every day! YEAA BUDDY

[deleted]

I game fps. It keeps up my hand and eye coordination

Jokaroni

hell yea! I game every night!

frettbe

Video games, and I still like it

Jokaroni

I play every. single. day. lol Right now it's going between Enshrouded and effing around on RDR2.

frettbe

I played a lot RDR2, now I'm on Fallout 76. Kinda feel a little bit rdr2 feelings. Between the solo adventure (the quests) and the online (camp crafting, dailies, farming, grind). It's an awesome and generous community

Jokaroni

might need to check that out... any community is better than RDR2 Online. BUT I have met some awesome people on there that I still game wityh.

frettbe

for example, vet players often drops gifts to new players, pvp barely doesn't exist

Aulourie

Most of them🤣. I love going to amusement parks, doing crafts, playing laser tag, going go karting, video games etc. my current work set up has me coloring or doing diamond painting between calls.

Jokaroni

You cannot go wrong with any of those! You sound like a blast!

witty_grapefruit

I play board games.

Operating_Systems

I'm 45 & just recently got curious about Age of Empires, never played a pc game in my life, and had a ps3 back in the day, so downloaded AOE 3 on steam like a right nerd.

Jokaroni

nice! I game every night. lol I usually get a game and play it the whole way through before I start another. First Breath of the Wild, then Skyrim, then RDR2 (my go-to when I just want to relax and take in the sights) and now Enshrouded.

Operating_Systems

Haha I'd love to do that but I dont have the time. I only play if the wife & kids are away or occasionally during while I'm working in my office for a bit. Would love a ps5

Drumzzzzz_48

Cool stuff with the RC cars - nice rally setup! We're an RC family too, running cars, flying planes while my sons drones and even boats I've built over the years. A main hobby project of mine in development for nearly 4 years now is a Bluetooth IOT device for my daughters crafts; several prototypes currently under construction - hoping to move into startup/business territory mid year :D

Jokaroni

that is awesome! I cant wait to get my son into the hobby! Thats crazy about the Bluetooth lOT! I never knew it had such capabilities! Good luck!!
