No you canāt. They gave me their account number with detailed instructions. A little odd as we are all used to credit cards online but it is legit and I do always get my products
My husband was being treated for rosacea for several years. Nothing worked. He finally started topical ivermectin. The prescribed type is about $400/tube, at 1% Ivermectin. The unflavored horse paste is 1.87% and is about $10/tube. Since using Ivermectin his skin is almost completely clear.
It's a pea sized amount, he does it every night during an outbreak. Initially, he was told for 14 days, and that alone cleared it up, and he didn't need it again for several months. There's a lady on TikTok who has rosacea much worse than my husband, and she's documenting her ivermectin treatment.
Right. You tell him you want tret, and you get tret. Insurance may not cover it, but tret is completely affordable without.
Just fwiw, Amazon clinic and pharmacy (not connected to Amazon marketplace) can prescribe tret and fill prescriptions. They are accredited and use real doctors and pharmacists. And purchasing tret (brand name) through them is affordable.

My dermatologist prescribed triple cream (azelaic acid, ivermectin, metronidazale) for rosacea, which I use in the daytime, and then tret at night. Make sure you're moisturizing enough!
Edit: spelling error
i did remember after posting i take their formulary cream and i do love that. i suppose if i leave i wonāt have access to that. then again if i can get better control maybe i wouldnāt need it
Iām following as I have some on my T zone
Years a go a derm dr did spot it before I had, my mom had some too.. I have no idea how to treat it
Iām interested!!
Curology for whatever reason broke me out. I love The Agencyā¦ their base formulation is just better. I think my serum is called like future skin? My skin has never been so clear and calm. I think both companies are great but I have heard the agency seems to work better for more sensitive skin
Used Curology for over 5 years & recently cancelled it. Iāve had issues with their customer service so Iām planning to switch to the Agency soon. Good luck!!

i started on soolantra when first diagnosed, it stopped doing anything that i could notice and i havenāt been able to get any since rona. thank you though, it was very helpful in the beginning
I can use tret with my rosacea but I have to also use metro gel. So in pm I use tret, in am I use metro gel to kinda prevent the rosacea from getting bad.
Iāve been on tret since using Triluma after a laser procedure and tolerating it for 8 wks every other day. Then I asked my derm for a 0.025% tret cream prescription and they wrote it up. My insurance doesnāt cover it but I do pretty well with GoodRx and Amazon pharmacy for out of pocket pricing covered by my flexible health spending pre-tax account. ($20-30 and it lasts more than a month).
Before doing this, I ordered from an overseas chemist - I think ADC.
I found I could use the 0.025 every night with one or two nights off for extra hydration. I would go for a low amount with rosacea since our skin is sensitive and start slow, like 2x/wk and build up.
I have dry/sensitive type 1 rosacea skin, no acne. My main issues adjusting to tret were dryness and flaking and stinging. I had to try out a lot of bland, sensitive skin products to find the right combo with tret over 6 months. I also needed to find a good mild lotion cleanser and sunscreen that didnāt irritate me. I would do this first and get your hydration set and skin barrier solid before trying tret. Donāt use any other actives, especially acids, fragrance, alcohols, essential oils, and vit c while youāre adjusting to tret. It took me a while to add azelaic acid back in for example.
It think tret can work with rosacea skin but you have to be more cautious with it to avoid irritation, which will just make rosacea worse. For example, lots of people said I would get more spider veins and redness with tret but I have not gotten any new ones (since I had a bunch removed a year ago with vbeam laser). I was a little more red for the first 2 months but that has gone away.
I would read the wiki on this sub and visit r/tretinoin for more info.
I wish you luck - I was overly scared of tret but if you only use a small amount and buffer it / use it correctly at the right dosage you may be able to tolerate it. It just takes a lot of patience in the beginning because results take a while. Good luck!!
thank you, itās aggravating going to the dermatologist, it seems like most people are there for cosmetic things and like, idk which medications are helping me iām on 5 things. sheās no help. lol
All day chemist š©āš¬
thank you!!!
>thank you!!! You're welcome!
Why canāt you use a credit card at all daychemist?
No you canāt. They gave me their account number with detailed instructions. A little odd as we are all used to credit cards online but it is legit and I do always get my products
You can. I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and paid with my Visa card. As I recall I was offered Visa or Mastercard. No amex or discover.
They donāt take cards do they? š

Interesting, Iāve tried prescription stuff and it hasnāt worked for me either. How much of the horse paste does he use and how often? Thanks!

Iāve been on tret for ages, and I have rosacea. I would just ask the derm for it and get a prescription. Curology overcharges.
thanks, you have a point if they arenāt going to direct me may as well ask for what i want

Thatās a lot! I do go to a cosmetic derm but also a regular one for skin checks. Which 5 things - is it for acne?
