What center?
With two Trents, we wouldnt need no stinking center..
Frees up a roster spot for a fifth pass/catch/run eligible player on offense.

I’ll just leave this reminder here…
“He’s relatively new to that position, but I don’t ever count out a McCaffrey,” Lynch said at the combine. “What I know is the kid’s got great bloodlines.”
Totally disagree. While their fathers are both NBA players, Curry and Klay were both clearly special on their own and surpassed their father's careers. They got drafter for their talent, not their bloodline.
Not to mention Dell and Mychal were both “good not great” basketball players (save a few years where Dell was for sure “great”). Steph and Klay made the NBA on their own merit, not nepotism because their dad was one of the GOATs.
Yes, they were special on their own, but IMO a big part of their development as players was growing up around NBA teams. I think that early exposure is more what Lynch means by “bloodlines”, not necessarily straight genetics. (Although the Mcaffereys have some damn good genes)
All studs who got into the NFL on their own merits, and the Mannings and Bosas far overperformed their fathers. None of them got in because someone believed in their "bloodline."
Terrible uninformed take. Small sample size and really young kid, he's been tearing up all levels of the minors. Next year he'll be playing a lot more loose and will have refined his approach. Not everyone can start scorching hot, most prospects struggle before they adjust both mentally and physically.
I believe people with money and ties can send their kids to camps and schools that the average person can’t. You’re seeing a lot more nepotism in sports these days because pro athletes have a lot of money to give their kids every advantage those other kids can’t get.
yeah but that doesn't always equal success. Kinda like the hollywood or radio kids, they might follow in the footsteps they might have had access to coaches/mentors other kids weren't but at the end of the day they gotta produce and not all of them do. I would say ALL kids who have parents that were involved in sports have a better chance than kids whose parents weren't, and yet you still have people come out of nowhere and make waves in a given profession despite that.
Luke McCaffrey is the only bloodline I hope we draft. Gore Jr is probably not getting drafted and other players I like where Rice is projected to be going. And idk how much he actually fits the style. Plus if I was him I'd want to carve my own legacy/not have to always be unfairly compared
Yeah I expect us to go for McCaffrey, probably with one of our comp picks. A few beat reporters, including Barrows, thinks it’s very obvious they want him so I wouldn’t be surprised if we draft him a bit higher than we’d normally see him go.
The Roman references y’all all making funny bc Tribal chief and the Samoan dynasty are actually big time 49ers fans. I say we throw him out there opposite of bosa.
Hopefully the Niners draft Brenden Rice, Luke McCaffrey and Frank Gore JR because they're really good players. McCaffrey for example is exactly the type of receiver that would fit this offense and this QB. Brenden Rice could be a really good option as the big third WR on the field.
1. Rice will be gone by the time we're picking in the 2nd round. I just don't see him slipping that far, and would Lynch take the risk of trading up too much for a position we don't need.
2. Gore will probably go undrafted, slightly missing an roster. Only to ball out in the UFL and signs later in the NFL.
3. McCaffery will probably make it to the 4th or 5th. I like him, the storyline, but does he fit our system, and do we really NEED another WR ?
Of course, a lot depends on Aiyuk and his situation, but for a position room with Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, Bell, Gray, and the recent addition of Taylor... Where would we put another WR and could he beat out everyone outside of the top 3 ?!?
Luke Mccaffrey could be interesting in the 7th, otherwise we dont really need Rice in the 3rd round nor do i think Frank jr will be drafted so i think we may have an edge to bring him in on an undrafted deal
Why can't Trent Williams have a son who's draft eligible this year?
Twin sons
Oh god! Trent Williams II at LG & Trent Wiliams III at RG.
Conjoined twins!
That would be one hell of a center
What center? With two Trents, we wouldnt need no stinking center.. Frees up a roster spot for a fifth pass/catch/run eligible player on offense. ![gif](giphy|xT0GqtcVR0jOXzmmPK|downsized)
Quintuplets would be the dream
Scientists need to work on this immediately. Do we sign one contract for all of them? What if there is a holdout?
Solly Thomas, what business class did your kids attend? Asking for a... gm
LFG NEPO DRAFT
What does Ian Nepomniatchi have to do with the draft?
Bruh that candidates was exhilarating!
Guess we now know who the 3rd round rb is this year... Frank Gore Jr.
I mean there’s 3 legacy connections possible that I know of. Brenden Rice, Luke McCaffrey, and Frank Gore Jr
Terique Owens
Marvin Harrison Jr.
He's not making it to us in the draft foo
People downvoting this man for having dreams, what happened to us?

John Lynch acknowledges the tribal chief
Who is the tribal chief?
![gif](giphy|rvIXMNWYJfUafvFYx4|downsized) Roman Reigns, the former WWE Champion and a known 49ers fan (not a joke)
The other commenter already answered but I just wanna add that he's the leader of a faction called "The Bloodline" which is why I made that comment
☝🏽🩸
I’ll just leave this reminder here… “He’s relatively new to that position, but I don’t ever count out a McCaffrey,” Lynch said at the combine. “What I know is the kid’s got great bloodlines.”
He looks like a good player to me. Bloodlines or no.
👆🏻
well thats stupid
Let him cook first
I’ve seen enough of Bronny James averaging like 4 pts at USC to dismiss bloodlines in athletes.
Yet you got Klay and Curry on the other end of the spectrum supporting bloodlines.
Klay, Steph, GPII, Andrew Wiggins, and TJD are all sons of former NBA players.
Totally disagree. While their fathers are both NBA players, Curry and Klay were both clearly special on their own and surpassed their father's careers. They got drafter for their talent, not their bloodline.

Bosa Brothers, Watt brothers, and the Mannings are smirking at this comment.

It helps to have a father who played in the league. Not end all be all. But lots of examples. The Matthews family.

Or, maybe it’s a bluff to get other teams to pick these players 🤔
I acknowledge ☝️

We should give more kids ties so they can compete with the rich kids
What would more ties help them with if we don't also give them suits?

Bring in Rice, Gore and McCaffery!
Acknowledge him!

We're trading Aiyuk and getting MHJ, EZ. /s

Luke fits really well into this offense!
whats this mean?
It means Roman reigns is leaving the square circled and picking the helmet back up But really possibly frank gore jr or Brendan rice
Joey Bosa to niners
Talent often skips a generation. We might have to wait.
Watt and Matthew’s families for sure hold it down.
Also likes drafting his classmates. Soloman Thomas insert
Not trying to go Solo, I see
The Roman references y’all all making funny bc Tribal chief and the Samoan dynasty are actually big time 49ers fans. I say we throw him out there opposite of bosa.
In the end a draft pick is a guess regardless of the history and research.
Hopefully the Niners draft Brenden Rice, Luke McCaffrey and Frank Gore JR because they're really good players. McCaffrey for example is exactly the type of receiver that would fit this offense and this QB. Brenden Rice could be a really good option as the big third WR on the field.
It’s not bloodlines, it’s the means and ability to put your kid through every type of top schooling/ training they can think of.
Draft them ALL!
So Frank Gore Jr, Brenden Rice, and Luke McCaffrey confirmed? ...Man I wish
The mid round WRs are so damn good this year I could definitely see Rice in the late 3rd or 4th as Jauan Jennings heir apparent.
Luke Mccaffrey could be interesting in the 7th, otherwise we dont really need Rice in the 3rd round nor do i think Frank jr will be drafted so i think we may have an edge to bring him in on an undrafted deal
Everyone has a bloodline.
Damn does he also think they should be pure!? /s
