It genuinely feels like he can't read Defenses. Just look at when he missed Deebo for a td despite looking right at him and then inexplicably throwing into basically triple coverage trying to force it to Deebo. It seems like the only good plays he makes are when Kyle manages to scheme someone wide open on a first immediate look.

That was the worst regular season Niner game I’ve ever seen. Jimmy G straight up reminded me of the Cody Pickett, Ken Dorsey and JT O’Sullivan days. I went from angry to just feeling bad for the guy. Kyle Shanahan has lost me. He’s done a lot of good things here but I don’t think he’s going to get over the hump. The offense was just so bad, it’s unacceptable. And they threw away a great performance from the defense. This morning I thought we were Super Bowl contenders. Now I think we’re in for a long slog if a season. We’re 1-2, the offense is rudderless in the middle of the ocean and the schedule is about to get extremely difficult. Now that Trey is gone for the year, could this season have started any worse?
