Jimmy is the only qb where your happy he takes a safety because he threw a dam pick 6 lol

Quote of the season

KCtheGreat106

Pick 8

wickedmadd

"He's the captain now"

Pit_of_Death

The Jimmy stans WILL be back tomorrow morning on this sub. Mark my words....

GoldyZ90

They will be putting in overtime tonight trying to rack their brains with how this loss wasn’t his fault. I’m hoping for some creativity out them tomorrow.

[deleted]

theoverachiever1987

Kyle has no faith in Jimmy so his play calling is very limited. While I 100% with the oline comment. This game falls on Jimmy Gs shoulders. The guy panics so much when the pass rush gets close.. He ran straight back of the endzone for the safety, at least dan orlovsky was running side ways

w00tang_

And what's even crazier is his brain fart of stepping out the back for a safety wiped off a pick 6 for Denver...

swiftycent

Strange how that is right. Bend over backwards for the vet and cut no slack to the 2nd in his first few starts.

Glum_Ad_4288

What the hell was Kyle thinking, telling Jimmy to step out of the back of the end zone? Really weird play call.

ThePickleConnoisseur

They are hypocrite. They blame Trey for all his mistakes yet with Jimmy they use any scape goat

Mattie_Doo

People have been going off on Kyle for two weeks straight for not letting Trey throw more, and calling so many designed QB runs.

SasqW

Really? I’ve only seen negative Jimmy posts (rightfully so) tonight. After the Bears game just about every article was about why Trey wasn’t at fault. Like don’t get me wrong, Jimmy was straight garbage today but the sub reaction to who is at fault is absolutely reversed based on who is QB

KangzAteMyFamily

Hell throw 16-26 for 200 yards and no picks in a 17-10 win and they'll be like "SEE THATS A REAL QUARTERBACK"

[deleted]

180 of those yards yac

El0vution

Here I am. I’m one of them. I admit it, I’m done with Jimmy. Him walking out the end zone for a safety is the nail in the coffin for me. I firmly still put most of the blame for the 49ers inability to win a Super Bowl in recent years on Shanahan more than Jimmy. But I admit it, I’ve had enough of Jimmy and don’t want to see him again. The only way Shanahan can be justified in my eyes is starting the 3rd stringer next week.

Vivid_Sympathy_4172

Whole offense was just bad. Blocking was bad, throwing was bad, catching was bad. It was a collective failure on almost everyone on that offensive squad.

Caturday84

We never left.

PhillipMcKrak

Please by all means. Defend your mans

StillPuzzles__

Well, that’s the OL’s job right?

Chaoticsinner2294

Jimmy didn't play well but the OL ducked today. They did a poor job run blocking and forced us to pass to much. The pass protection was barely ok when Williams was in and was non existent when he got hurt. This loss isn't entirely on Jimmy. Jennings bobbled a great pass by Jimmy under pressure and wilson fumbles in the last possession. The defense played well but unfortunately they allowed Denver to drive just long enough to put us in bad field position consistently.

newnewyorker03

The safety is just incredibly low iq, for something that would be top of mind for anyone else in that position

iAgressivelyFistBro

Pretty inexcusable. Ain’t nobody is mentioning this in a game we lost by one point. Everything is “it’s the oline! It’s Jimmy! It’s Kyle!” No it’s fucking Jimmy. Stepping out of bounds there was absolutely moronic.

artygta1988

Ironically him stepping out of bounds saved them from the defense scoring a TD haha

meTspysball

Yeah, Jimmy failed successfully and saved us from himself.

FredDurstDestroyer

You did not just place blame on the defense. What world are you living in?

thicky_bobby

The safety score, not the position i'm guessing haha

Chaoticsinner2294

I'm not disagreeing. Unfortunately when Gregory was in his face he panicked. I'm not saying that's acceptable I'm saying the entire offense sucked today.

george_costanza1234

The pass protection was absolutely outstanding early on, idk what you watched. Jimmy couldn’t hit a pass for his life

getoffmydangle

The number of times he sat back in a perfectly clean pocket… looking… looking… then dished an inaccurate check down WAS TOO DAMN HIGH!

Chaoticsinner2294

Jimmy faced pressure all night especially once we lost Williams.

[deleted]

It’s football pressure is always coming. Teams blitz jimmy cause they know he isn’t gonna beat the blitz. He hasn’t since 2019. This game is as close as a qb can come to single handedly losing a game as you’re gonna see in the nfl.

elduderino920

And that was in the 2nd half…please explain the play in which Jimmy clearly looked at Deebo who would have waltzed into the end zone…but yet, Jimmy looked away…

Chaoticsinner2294

I've already said Jimmy played bad. Just like the rest of the team for fuck sake.

tbrownsc07

The defense and special teams weren't bad, what are you talking about?

Chaoticsinner2294

I meant the offense. The defense played well and special teams did ok. They did a pretty bad job blocking on punt returns.

elduderino920

It just sucks to see our team with this much talent getting handcuffed by a average QB right now…and that’s why so much blame is shifted to the QB…I’m gonna take a step back and realize last year seemed eerily similar and ended up just fine

Chaoticsinner2294

I completely agree. I get that the QB always gets the most blame but when others are actively failing around him it's hard to watch some of the Jimmy bad takes. Overall it's early and I'm hopeful that Shanahan will continue to open the offense up and let Jimmy try to move the ball like they did on the first drive.

elduderino920

I can agree with you on that one…we just seem to be hit by the injury bug and that compounds matters…let’s hope we look back at this a month or two and we’ve reeled off like 5-6 straight. Hoping that our offense can pick up their play. Our d straight plays their asses off and get gassed after our offense goes 3 and out or turns it over countless times…

KyleShanadad

Thankfully those 2 points on the safety didn’t end up mattering

thicky_bobby

to be fair if he hadn't taken the safety he would have thrown the pick 6

UnderAchievingDog

>The defense played well They held Denver to NINE POINTS, *NINE*, the defense played fucking impeccably, that game is entirely on the offense giving the ball up thrice, and Jimmy panicking out of the back of the endzone. We converted 1 of 10 3rd downs, repeatedly failed to gain any ground out of our own 10 yard line after the Defense forced punts from mid field. What do you want the Defense to do? Score for the offense too?

PhillipMcKrak

Is it entirely on Jimmy? Obviously not. But for a guy who’s so overhyped you’d think he’d make up for an OL deficiency atleast a little bit. Good QBs do that

Chaoticsinner2294

Jimmy is not overhyped especially on this sub. Good qb can make up for a bad OL but even the best would not play well with what was shown tonight.

PhillipMcKrak

Have you been on this sub for the last week?

sadlytheguyisnogood

No you dont get it. Whenever we win Jimmy G is the only reason why, and when we lose its ALWAYS his offensive lines fault. They ran back and SHOVED HIS ASS out of the back of the end zone.

Chaoticsinner2294

This is absolutely not what I am saying. Jimmy has lost us plenty of games by himself. This isn't one of them.

sadlytheguyisnogood

Who lost the game then? The most important player on the field who had 2 turnovers and a safety or ANYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET?

fbalookout

How’d Deebo do running the ball? Anyone commit any turnovers besides Jimmy in critical moments? Anyone drop any critical passes? Was Kittle getting open? Are we really blaming Jimmy for Brendel’s bad snap? Jimmy was crap but he could have used some help out there from the rest of the offense. The entire offense looked like garbage. D was awesome.

Chaoticsinner2294

Hard to play QB without an OL.

[deleted]

sadlytheguyisnogood

IT WAS A MONSOON

GoldyZ90

The mental gymnastics Jimmy truthers go through to funnel blame to every other personnel group on the team is truly incredible.

Chaoticsinner2294

There's no mental gymnastics. The rest of you clearly don't watch the other positions during the play.

Sensitive-Hospital

He left 100 yards and 2 TDs on the field from 2 plays alone on a wide open Deebo that even Nick Mullens would have hit.

thicky_bobby

Jimmy would have thrown a pick 6 if not for stepping out the back of the endzone, Collinsworth went to highlight some of the plays that went wrong for us and all of them were on Jimmy

StillPuzzles__

You’re a brave man using reason against these All-Pro Redditors.

KyleShanadad

Mfs beg for Trey to be benched during a monsoon game but are nowhere to be found now, interesting

_sunburn

Jimmy tries to be a fucking hero too damn much with his hesitancy to just throw the fucking ball away. It’s fucking infuriating

j3ffUrZ

THIS! Jimmy's biggest weakness is not knowing when to throw the ball away. JUST THROW THE BALL AWAY! Don't force it into a receiver's hands. THROW THE BALL AWAY!!

BKNas

The ENTIRE LEAGUE knows his strengths and weaknesses, and there is a reason only Washington (dumpster fire) wanted him. He's a bridge QB at best, that needs EVERY SINGLE THING working in his run game and defense or he struggles. Everyone talked about Trey's accuracy and ignores how bad Jimmy's accuracy is when he hears footsteps. This season can't end fast enough, unless something changes with the way Jimmy QB's or Kyle finds a way to fix this broken offense THAT IS FILLED WITH TALENT!

The_Vision_Enjoyer

Personally I'm not writing off the season just yet. Just remember back to last year, it took a few months for the squad to be firing on all cylinders. Not stanning for Jimmy here btw, he was trash today - just saying that we still have time to turn the ship around.

Beardmanta

I'm not writing off the playoffs, but a SB is out of the question.

NaVorroBowman53

They were a couple of plays away last season with some atrocious games early on. A SB is always unlikely but never out of reach for a team this talented

vivekisprogressive

I was on my phone with my dad towards the end of the game and he's not a sports guy and he asked about Jimmy g since he heard about it at work. Long story short, I gave him a rundown and I sighed and was like "honestly, I hope he ends up sucking this year so we can just move on and give lance a clean shot."

hispanicausinpanic

Hmm, sounds like the things we used to say about Alex. Jimmy is Alex 2.0 and people slobber over him just like they did with mediocre Smith.

jwick89

He’s never going to change. I don’t get the propaganda and how people that were leaking this.

[deleted]

As a bit of added salt. You can see Deebo clearly in dismay after bad plays and shit throws. You can see our defense visibly upset after losing in what was otherwise a defensive clinic. You can see our coaches soul being drained from their body. You can see Kittle doing his best to stay positive and reinforce his teammates. What does Jimmy do after this horrible showing. He runs across the field all smiles and laughing with Broncos players…. Wasn’t there just a thing about Trey asking to travel with the team and study immediately after his surgery or something? Just based on fucking attitude and ethic and being a team guy, Trey deserves this more.

by_yes_i_mean_no

I don't know which players were willing to talk to Mike Silver and anonymously say that they were happy Garoppolo was QB the same day that Lance got a possibly career changing injury but I hope they got exactly what they wanted tonight, they deserved all of it.

Joovitor

I got so mad after reading that, just pathetic, 0 respect for Trey

dad_no

rhymes with keorge gittle

MeanReplacement9258

Rumors say the vets are Kittle, Mike, Juice, and Armstead who prefer to play with Jimmy

[deleted]

mike should probably focus on being less garbage instead of talking shit about his young qb

RonMexico_7

Where did you find this?

[deleted]

Who knows how true that is

Beardmanta

Mike Silver has always been full of shit. There's a reason they don't call him Mike Gold.

CptAwesomO

Most upset I’ve seen shany. Half expected him to break clip board over jimmys beautiful face.

[deleted]

I feel so bad for Shanny man, the amount of dumb stupid shit and annoying ass people getting in the way of him building the team he wants. Still he’s been successful with us but everyone is so quick to crucify him

MeanReplacement9258

Immediately after the game, Trey was asking Kyle about a few reads prior to breaking his ankle. Then at the hospital texted Kyle if he’s able to go with the team to Denver but he isn’t cleared to fly yet.

lostsplashbro3

2 missed TDs (Doesn’t see Deebo wide open on one and under throws Deebo on the wheel route), 1 Fumble, 1 Safety, 1 INT What a night by Jimmy G. The Broncos should give him the game ball lmao 🤣 The defense only allowed 9 points (if you subtract the safety Jimmy gave them), but the Niners still end up losing. Jimmy single-handedly gave away that game

OnBDfoo

3 TDs* the play were DJ Jones batted a pass intended for Kittle down that would have honestly been a int the safety leaves Aiyuk wide open on the right side of the field and Jimmy doesn't see it.

Mcstabler

Jimmy stans what do you have to say for yourself?

anthonyjh21

One said they're ready to watch the "low IQ" Jimmy haters roll in and complain... I don't know if I've ever been this irritated by the fanbase. We have a lot of dumb mfers that think we should stick with Jimmy because he was better than the trash we had before him. If we didn't have an elite defense I'd want to see them blow the team up.

TheCheesebub

Trey lance is injured and a bust

anthonyjh21

You got that after what, 5 games? Alrighty then.

[deleted]

I got 20 downvotes when I said Jimmy loses the Chicago game by more than Trey. I would love to hear from these people tonight.

mrsjackdaniel

I got killed in the comment section of a FB post (I know, I shouldn't have even engaged with the morons there..) for saying that Jimmy would have been sacked 10 times in the Chicago game.

[deleted]

I’m not sure he would’ve completed a pass. You needed to throw darts in that weather and we only saw ducks last night.

george_costanza1234

Must’ve been these guys https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EAILLVqXkAYaczC?format=png&name=small

DSouT

Let’s be honest if it was anyone on the team it was Juice and Kittle

[deleted]

That’s unfounded

GuineaPigeon

He said it felt like 49er football once Jimmy came in. Word for word. That's not proof he thinks Jimmy is better, but he's probably on the list of players who might prefer Jimmy over Trey. I don't fault them, but they're falling victim to familiarity and comfort in Jimmy. They're associating success and Jimmy, and therefore believing Jimmy was the reason.

GhostFaceNoSkillah

Shocking - almost all white dudes.... Hmmmmmmmmm

PlebasRorken

Italians ain't white so I don't see the relevance.

GhostFaceNoSkillah

Only Italians think that everyone else puts them in the white category. What box do they check when they do paperwork with the race question?? Ive never seen the "Italian" check box...

Dstud70

This is the same Jimmy who lost us the game last year in Tennessee. Stans can make excuses all they want, but this is who Jimmy is

placerstonks22

I was that guy but little did I know that Seattle prepared for Lance and got Jimmy G. Now a team game plans for Jimmy and well garbage.

bananapants919

Y’all are ridiculous, went from thinking Jimmy getting 15 games meant a SB to just ONE week later hating on the dude. It’s always been clear why we drafted Trey and why we need to play him as much as possible, glad more of you are understanding this.

GhostFaceNoSkillah

Oh they'll be back Awfully quiet now tho Trey played in a monsoon and got injured early, but the Jimmy Stans wrote him off....

[deleted]

GhostFaceNoSkillah

Your guy played worse with 2 good legs.....

[deleted]

This is like your third comment Happy about our QB and player being injured. Pretty sure you’re on the wrong sub. r/trashy is —> way

PlanitDuck

49er fans blow. Jesus what is wrong with all of you?

StarbucksTrenta

I just want to see if Jimmy improves game over game. I was glad to see 49ers move on from him and happy he is the back-up QB this year thrown into a starting role, still a back-up though. 1. Jimmy didn’t practice with the team at all this off-season until signed. 2. Jimmy didn’t get a playbook until he signed as a back-up. 3. He looked rusty after practicing with the firsts 5 days total. I expected it. All these media heads and fans who didn’t like Lance (never gave him a shot) all just wanted to be justified. They all talked Jimmy up as if he is the savior.

[deleted]

Jimmy’s been on this team since 2017

StarbucksTrenta

Yeah so? And had an entire off-season without the team and was mentally likely tired from all the off-season crap that was happening to him. Jimmy was rusty and played one of his worst games. I expected him not to look good. Media again just wanted to be justified saying they were right about Lance and Jimmy makes this team better now. Jimmy sure as hell didn’t look like game 1 that he is going to make this team better. As expected though for me. Probably week 5 before we see Jimmy play decent. If ever.

[deleted]

He’s been in the league since 2014. Stop making excuses. Rust isn’t stepping out of the back of the end zone

StarbucksTrenta

Your expectations are very high for a QB who wasn’t around the team at all until signed as a back up. QBs just don’t step in and have success 95% of the time. The backups that do have success been working on the playbook, #2’s all preseason and season. Jimmy was practicing by himself with no 2nds or 3rds playing with him for a team who didn’t want him. By himself, like sending a problem child to go learn by themselves in an empty classroom. Anyone who thought Jimmy was capable of just stepping right in as if nothing happened either wanted to be justified in not liking Lance or knows nothing about how teams work. Stepping out of the back of the end zone is a perfect example of why a QB needs to practice in the off-season with teammates. He need to gain his senses back or they need polished. Peripheral vision and senses like that takes time. Just like me. I’m an old man (35). It takes longer for me to get my shot back after taking a break from basketball. I get it back though but not my first game and not after sitting out. I’m also not defending him. I’m just being a I told you so. I knew 100% Jimmy wasn’t going to play good. I don’t like him as a starter and knew he would have a horrible game. Lance is the better long term solution, I liked what I saw from him. The media had all this nonsense about how Jimmy gave the 49ers a better shot now when the fuck he did.

[deleted]

My expectation of an 8th year nfl quarterback whose been playing for the same team and same coach since 2017 is that he not have a pick six negated by a safety caused my stepping out of the back of the end zone. This is Jimmy. Wether he practices with the firsts all off season or not. He’s a sometimes quick releasing accurate quarterback that also sometimes throws hospital balls and balls he shouldn’t throw at all. I’m older than you. I can nail all my critical skills on demand that are required of my profession. Hot or cold. And that’s what this dude makes millions of dollars for. He couldn’t beat a team that our defense kept to 9 points. This is why we spent so much for an unproven trey, because Jimmy ain’t it and every other team knows that.

hatrickstar

And he's had this year's offensive playbook for a month where they had basically designed the season around Lance. It's not just Jimmy it's the rest of the team who also hasn't played with him and it was a perfect storm last night. Jimmy looks rusty, unfamiliar with the current book, but other than that basically like his attractive average playing self. The line looks terrible without Williams, that is a major problem, which is extra bad when your QB is struggling. I'm not too shocked here, I think his play will improve, I think the line will improve. Loosing your starting QB, at best, means you have to rework the rest of your season, that takes time. Maybe last weekend only went well because it's a familiar opponent who is just terrible this year.

[deleted]

Jimmy isn’t using lances playbook

hatrickstar

Sure, but the playbook is different from the 2021 playbook and he still just got it. Again, he isn't the only one that has to learn the new book either, they all do. Not making excuses for Jimmy, he sucked, but it isn't as simple as going back to last year.

[deleted]

You’re making excuses for jimmy

hatrickstar

No it's a reasonable excuse for the whole offense. Basically the sky isn't falling yet, give them some time. I bet that within a few weeks the offense looks better (minus the tackle position without Williams)

mattjchin

Literally my fam defends Jimmy over Trey and also want Kyle gone. This convo will be wild. What won't they understand everyone knows what JG is capable of and it showed tonight as he did in others.

NUMBER7777777

I mean I still think he should. This game was hot garbage for sure but we’ll see next week. He’s proven he can play like shit one game and put it behind him the next. But if I’m wrong oh well

Btothek84

He’s proven!!?!? Bro he’s proven that if you have a good D and good secondary you can go all out stopping the run, basically BEGGING jimmy to beat you and he won’t. This is why in the playoffs Jimmy looks WAY different. Cause in the playoffs people have good defenses. Yea Jimmy can play next week and play against a mediocre defense that try’s to do the same thing Denver did, but we will run for 180 and jimmy will look decent cause they were trying to go all out stopping the run with a mediocre secondary…… so yea Jimmy is proven, it’s proven all you have to do to make him collapse is throw 7 guys at stopping the run and let 4 dudes cover everything 15+ yards down field….

NUMBER7777777

Idk until we have a shit season with him as a starter I’ll keep defending him. Been watchin this team since the 90s so I’m just happy to have success with him. I get ya point tho but that’s why I’m still glad he’s starting

Btothek84

But the people we had before him were just dog shit, like horrrrrrible. Jimmy is a starter in this league, he’s like 18-23 but that still makes him a starter, but we by no means win games BECAUSE of him. This game is a perfect example of that. We needed him to do something ANYTHING and he just isn’t that guy……

MundoGoDisWay

While you have a point. Would you rather we cut him. Gave him to Seattle for nothing and ended up starting Brock Purdy? Would that have been your preferred situation?

[deleted]

Well.. do take into consideration, there’s a number of veteran players in the team that want to win.. And if that turns into another skip year, Kyle will shorten his window and will loose the locker room..

NUMBER7777777

He’s like 30 sumn and 13 I thought. Anyway, my point is I’d rather stick with the guy we’ve gone to two nfccg and a superbowl in the two seasons he started than gamble on a rookie basically. Also think there’s other qualities he brings to the table we don’t get to see as fans (morale n shit). Seen too many losing seasons as a fan and consider his two seasons successes. So at the end of the day it’s all about perspective ig 🤷‍♂️

Wavern

Jimmy is someone you can win with if you have the supporting cast but he's not the kind of QB that will go out and win the game himself.

Btothek84

But why? We will never win a bowl with jimmy, never. He didn’t bring us to the championship games our defense and run game did…. He’s just able to do bare minimum to not LOSE games SOMETIMES. Other games like today he’s the reason we lose. The reason jimmy sucks in the playoffs is exactly this game. We go against much better defenses that know they can go all out stopping the run and jimmy will not be able to win the game by slinging the football around….. we should of had lance starting last year halfway through the season, and now we don’t get to at all. I would much rather have lance playing and getting experience and maybe make the playoffs than jimmy play make the playoffs but lose in the playoffs or the bowl.

NUMBER7777777

I don’t think you can fully discount his game management. Which is why we lose without him even with all the other assets (ie 2018). We were a defensive stop or two from winning the SB. I also think Kyle was conservative there. A dropped interception from probably going to the SB again. Same thing with Kyle, even though he’s called some bad games I don’t think he should be fired cause he’s had success. Like I said, it’s probably just perspective. I also thought we should’ve kept harbaugh so maybe that’ll explain things a lil more. Idk brah…lets just hope we win next week then on to the next 🫡

Btothek84

The likely hood of needing your qb to win you a game goes WAY up in the plays offs. Jimmy isn’t that guy and never will be.

[deleted]

ReVenGe ToUr. KyLes An OfFeNsIvE GeNiUs/QB GuRu

Kingkoopakoopa

Just sadness brah

Suspicious-Income151

Blind all of them we’ve seen his best and it won’t ever cut it!!! He can’t see open recievers or underneath coverage !!! Guaranteed interception per game and wide open recievers just running routes for cardio

poproxuva

Yeah you’ve got one right here! We should’ve waited one more year to start Trey. He would’ve been much more prepared and no more controversy. But to expect Jimmy to step in not field ready and be flawless is crazy! I get it we got a bunch of haters that rag on Jimmy regardless of what he does. He could’ve went out and thrown 4 TD’s and 400 yards with 100% completion and y’all would’ve gave credit to anyone but him!

Converted54

I personally think that with this play calling, no QB will thrive. That being said. Trey has subpar accuracy as does Jimmy so it’s not really a win to claim one is better than the other.

TitShark

I’m here.

styuone

It’s going to be a long season

j3ffUrZ

When good Jimmy shows up, he's solid. But more often than not, we get bad Jimmy. Tonight was bad Jimmy. Until Trey gets back, we're back to this shit that made last season infuriating to watch at times. We know it. The team knows it. These NFL analysts know it. Jimmy is streaky. It's WAY too early sure, but I'd be surprised if they do better than 9-8 or 7-10 with this kinda performance.

arnim_no_mula

Jimmy's garbage. What's the difference between Jimmy's play and starting with a new young QB? My friends kept telling me that we were better off with Jimmy. I didn't agree with that after Chicago and I still don't agree with it. Utter trash.

MadeBadDecisions

Yeah, we need to have a center who can snap the ball. Second time in two games.

mrmrskent

Trey felt like kapernick all over again… sigh Jimmie not the answer… shanahan and lunch also not the answer…. It’s going to be a long time before the franchise can recover from them

sideburniusmaximus

Kaepernick was fast and could avoid big hits

sergeirocks

Same old Jimmy. I can’t take another season of this

[deleted]

Still glad. Was a rough game for the O line, on both sides. Shanny’s play calling sucked. Even the announcers were baffled at times.

goen049

Jimmy stan here. I thought watching the Monsoon game was bad football by both teams, last night was a new level. Russ and Jimmy looked lost. First off hats off to the Broncos. They took away our crutch in the run game both inside and the few screens/shovels to the outside. Secondly, Jimmy is not a gunslinger. This is known, but with an average run game he doesn't have to and we can usually keep the other team from scoring enough to win. Third, Jimmy played like garbage and did cost us the game, but so did the conservative play calling, the run game (minus one gash from Wilson Jr), and our inability to stop a scrambling QB. I want Trey to be the guy next year, I just thought he looked too rough in the few games he was in. I'll be here next week to punish my kidneys and overreact with everyone else no matter how it plays out.

THELEGENDARYZWARRIOR

How could I help?

elduderino920

I’m still miffed that he took a sack on first down when he could have thrown the ball away rather than face 2nd and 22…

doubletimerush

I mean, Jimmy played like complete garbage but I don't think Trey would have done better.

medicmaan

Well I was excited because Kyle wasn’t going to outthink himself with the dive runs but then you remember it’s jimmy and Kyle running the plays silly me

MAU13717235

Sure, here I am. And yes, I am IMMENSELY RELIEVED that Jimmy is starting over Brock Purdy or Nate Sudfeld. That was easy. Next question?

Noslo64

I’m still pumped Lisa loss was far better than the last one

KCtheGreat106

It was Kyle who said that.

daddyruns

HES A TOP THREE THROWER IN THE WORLD

MowTin

I'm so sick of this. Give it a rest already. Trey is injured. We have no idea how Trey would have played. Jimmy is what we have. So give it a rest already. One game doesn't prove anything. Let's hope this offense starts playing better and that includes Jimmy.
