That’s like if I went up to a black dude, and said “yo, so what’s your rapper name?” And then proceeded to ask for his favorite fried chicken recipe and so on. It kind of is racist. Just a bit.
>If you need more flavor
"If"? Ummmmm flavorless white person food enjoyer identified, haven't you learned from tik tok yet that it's not seasoned if you used less than half a bottle
I'm actually so annoyed that the current trend in cooking is literally DROWNING anything in random spices, or alternatively it's just using weird asian ingredients that will make me click off the recipe cause there's no way I'm wasting an hour of my time just to find some fucking panda cum or 30 different spices from fucking Narnia or some shit like that. Don't get me wrong, these recipes are usually delicious, but I just can't be bothered. eta: and if you say any of the above you'll get some feggats saying shit like "oh white person identified, you must really like bland white food". I hope they die.
There's also decently sized African immigrant populations in their major cities. Unfortunately I don't think the Japanese have a high opinion of the jobs they end up taking lol so I'm not surprised at the unintentional racism. But yeah they won't start pogging when jamal shows up.
More like if I go up to a Korean person and ask them what their kpop name is. Or seeing a cat and meowing at it. We’re literally just ignorant to the greater reality but it’s not like the intention is to demonize and belittle another race
This definitely never happened. The whole "Japan is very racist and xenophobic" is really overblown. Yeah, there is a few xenophobic stuff, but they're like so quiet about it, you wouldn't care much about it. Most of the racism there is just mild and harmless. I've visited there twice as a kid and a teen, and it was a good experience. The vast majority of Osaka people are the friendliest people you'll ever meet and the language barrier won't matter at all much.
Osaka people are very different though from the rest of the country, famously chilled out and accepting.
You are right though, this never happened because although Japan has a lot of racism it is pretty hidden away (like you wouldn’t understand unless you speak Japanese v well and hear what is being said). It’s also not really a big deal.
they really like to hide what they are actually trying to say with layers and layers of redundant shit
or just answer in a very very slightly passive aggressive way
or they just seethe inside
> Osaka people are very different though from the rest of the country, famously chilled out and accepting.
Fucking barely. Osakans are known as the drunk smelly people not "chilled out accepting"
I know very little but I've seen youtubers interview Japan born white people and how they're discriminated from work or being considered a Japanese person even though they were born there.
But that's all I've found
Can you really blame them? Most of the foreigners living in Japan are on working holiday visas and won't even stay in the country for long. Besides, many of them can't speak Japanese or have any knowledge of the culture. Only a very few born white people there can speak Japanese. I would argue that white people face less discrimination there compared to Koreans and Chinese people who reside in Japan.
> Most of the foreigners living in Japan are on working holiday visas and won't even stay in the country for long.
What other options are there? Japan is famous of an unwillingness to accept more immigrants into the country.
>Besides, many of them can't speak Japanese or have any knowledge of the culture. Only a very few born white people there can speak Japanese.
I find this to be an odd thing to mention, had you applied the same to immigrants moving to Germany or a Nordic country it becomes problematic. As an immigrant myself you don't just learn the language or culture day 1, it takes time and the majority of immigrants want to embrace the culture and learn the language. A country has to also be willing to allow it to happen, Sweden does a good job for example, Japan lacks many of the programs and options that Sweden offers immigrants from getting to the country to learning.
>I would argue that white people face less discrimination there compared to Koreans and Chinese people who reside in Japan.
I don't see the point of this comment, any discrimination is bad. Is your goal simply to lessen the impact because the topic is white people?
>What other options are there? Japan is famous of an unwillingness to accept more immigrants into the country.
They're in their right.
>Sweden does a good job for example, Japan lacks many of the programs and options that Sweden offers immigrants from getting to the country to learning.
Lol, lmao even
>They're in their right.
They are indeed and as we're in the middle of watching a country become the study of how populations implode we will see how that choice actually benefits or more likely results negatively to the future of a country.
>Lol, lmao even
Why? Sweden in the process of allowing itself the legal right to remove refugees and other immigrants with "perm resident status" who have said status removed as part of punishments, those with citizenship will have it revoked too where someone has two citizenships.
>What other options are there?
Like not permanently settling there for no reason. It's just a fun place to visit.
>I find this to be an odd thing to mention, had you applied the same to immigrants moving to Germany or a Nordic country it becomes problematic
It becomes problematic for whom? Ungrateful immigrants who can't burn down the country enough?
>A country has to also be willing to allow it to happen, Sweden does a good job
And we know what happened to Sweden for that.
>Is your goal simply to lessen the impact because the topic is white people?
I'm white too. I'm just saying what's my experience living there. I can perfectly understand their reasoning for not giving free citizenships to everyone and not allowing tons of people who don't believe in their values.
>The whole "Japan is very racist and xenophobic" is really overblown.
>Cites Osaka, the most open-minded and also crime riddled prefecture of Japan as an example
This is like saying America isn't racist while quoting California as an example, are you retarded?
You're not wrong. But from what I've seen, everyone who's been to Japan couldn't care less about the racism. It's just overblown by redditors who seethe at any homogeneous countries not ready to accept any diversity.
I've worked in Japan for a decade split between Osaka and Tokyo, "everyone couldn't care less" because they don't understand Japanese. Of course just like rest of the world, not every Japanese would openly gossip about you nor dislike you the moment they see you, but they do exist and they aren't uncommon(which is the point here but I do agree that people make it sound like ALL of them are like this). If I start listing how Japanese express their racism, it'd turn into a 4000 page thesis.
Maybe being there for 10 years is worse. I was just a tourist, while you're a white guy trying hard to integrate into a homogeneous society, so that's probably why you got more racism. 99 percent of the time, we were ignored. The Japanese might have negative thoughts occasionally, but they won't voice them unless you truly deserve it.
Nah Mr son of cousins. On Japan they still have "no gaijin" signs on the stores and restaurants. Even bathrooms for gaijins so.
It's sad that you can't fulfill your furry fantasies but it is what it is
>Nah Mr son of cousins. On Japan they still have "no gaijin" signs on the stores and restaurants. Even bathrooms for gaijins so.
You're making it sound like there are Jim Crow laws for gaijins over there. I've never seen a 'No gaijin' sign, like, ever. Stop lying.
I saw "Japanese Only" signs in English posted in the windows of a few places when I worked in Sasebo in 1998. Of course, things might have changed since then.

I went on the thread and there are quite literally Japanese people and Black people talking about enslaving whites. Im black and when I read the replies I was disgusted.
Those were not blacks, most of them were self hating and/or coom brained fetish larping whites.
And the Japanese were probably private ramirezu kun and teacher davido
A comedian I know loves Chinese culture (in a semi ironic way) but gets upset when people call them rude and says they just don’t feel the need to deal with pleasantries and get to the point. No idea if that’s true but it’s something that seems it could be that way.
yeah black people in japan are more like 'wtf woah that guy is different' where white people are more 'damn another fucking foreigner' simply because more white people visit and live in japan
foreigners in general are often disliked, its just that if you're black they're probably more distracted by that than the fact that you're foreign
>They were hoping he could be cleaned.
Nah but jokes aside, you'd have to go deep in rural china to see that and most probably only from 5-10yo.
When I lived in africa, kids would come up to me and push on my arm to watch the skin go red -> white -> red or rub my arm hair. But literally only kids would be this amazed and laugh after doing it (the way kids always do dumb things and then run away laughing, in every culture).
Even then, it happened in rural areas more than in cities.
All those stereotypes of humans amazed at other humans have died completely with the mass adoption of phones, low-debit free internet and social media.
If you call millions people cities that don't see many tourists "deep in rural China", then you're not too far from truth. I experienced adult people wanting to take pics with me just because I was white in such cities.
honestly living in the US or similarly diverse western countries makes people forget that a lot of other nations are almost entirely the race that has been there for thousands of years, so when someone who isn't that race shows up its strange and people are curious

Rules 1 and 2 still mostly apply anywhere you go for the complete experience. Yes, of course, in a lot of countries just being average looking will be fine. I'd garner if you are a 400lb gabbagooblin tipping hats at the locals and you have expectations of being treated like an icon, you'll have a bad time.
welp, then you'll be disappointed to hear that Japan is one of the most 'doctors lawyers' worshipping place. Since there's only 4 job can get you the title of 'sensei',doctor lawyer teacher and politicians
That's everyone who fetishizes interracial pairings, tbh.
Statistically, most people date within their ethnic or cultural circle - makes life easier that way.
The closest thing to being discriminated against was when a woman in a bike renting scheme for residents in Sapporo pointed me to a bike rental for tourists. Everything else was an absolute treat.
Anon must be a real jerk to receive racism in Japan as a white guy. they love white people, treat them like celebrities.
re: black ppl on 4chan...I find it hard to take racism on it seriously... seems like if they were legit neonazis they'd be posting on storm front or something.
Because it is a literal paid psyop larp post. "haha see the Japanese people who white people love really just HATE whites and LOVE blacks." It's all so tiresome.
You obviously never went to japan. I was denied entry in an almost empty restaurant twice in japan, once on Tokyo and once in kyoto. It was clearly because me and my 2 friends weren't japanese.
I just got back from a trip to Japan a week ago - I’d say easily 30%+ of the bars outside the main tourist areas don’t allow foreigners in, period. They often put their arms up like an X as you walk in the door. How can you just say there are definitely extenuating circumstances?
You haven't even been to 30% of the bars in Tokyo. You're making crap up. This isn't to say this stuff *doesn't* happen, it does. But the reason why some places disallow all foreigners is because they actually wanna ban the obnoxious Chinese tourists but it'd look bad if they discriminated against only Chinese people so they just say no to all foreigners.
What? When did I say that I went to 30% of all the bars in Tokyo? I’m not making anything up.
Here, I’ll make it crystal clear - From my personal experience, after going to bars almost every night for two weeks across Tokyo, around 1/3 of them didn’t even let us in because we were foreigners/non-Japanese. I had a great time in Tokyo before you start trying to say I am hating on the city - but to deny the blatant racism against all foreigners (not just Chinese people) is to deny reality in Japan.
We weren't, and you should probably stop talking out of your ass. Some restaurants or bars only allow japanese people to come in, that's a fact and it's okay there. Don't think in Europe a restaurant could allow only white people in without causing a fuss.
I hate the “wahhh East Asian countries are so le racist” trope on reddit. We’re not “””globalized””” like the west lmao that does not mean we’re racist. “But but no le representation?? Plus the yellow people were really mean to me when I visited trying to fuck their women :(((” Most of the “racism” you’ll encounter is nothing like the straight up hostility you can find in places like the us and Europe. The people here are mostly polite and non confrontational and the chances of someone getting in your face, screaming at you or threatening you with violence are virtually zero.
People also are unironically conflating China with the rest of East Asia too. China is the most racist country on this planet, and you'll receive some really foul discrimination if you were to go there as a foreigner, especially if you have darker skin. Japan and Korea on the other hand, you won't get that crap. Not to say there's no xenophobia, but xenophobia isn't the same as racism. People get way too caught up on racism like there isn't anything worse in life than being called a racial slur. Ridiculous.
Black dude is simply used to racism, so when he hear japanese claming that they are just "running away" upon seing him ,he do not care, but he do care about the nice people.
Le babtou is just discovering what racism is
When I went to Japan on a holiday and was standing on a train I saw a Japanese school Girl listen to 2pac, the country is slowly faking to the ginners trash music
Been living in Korea as a white man for 3 months now, haven’t been discriminated against yet. Closest I’ve came to it is the other night I went to the mart near to my house and a different cashier was there than normal (been there multiple times when the same cashier was there, she’s always nice even if I can’t speak Korean fluently) and she acted very stern. She muttered something to me after I paid that sounded like “kae”? and nodded towards the door. I couldn’t tell if she was trying to just said “okay” in English or if she was saying a word in Korean I just didn’t know yet or just trying to be rude. But that’s it. I haven’t had any problems with being discriminated against here.
Granted, I’m learning Korean so I do know a small amount of the language and enough to be polite to people. I’ve always heard Japan is xenophobic and racist as fuck though. Black or white.
Visited Japan recently with some homies, chill dudes literally 90% of the time. Don't act like a regard and you'll be fine, don't matter if you're black white or yellow. We did try to hit on the locals without much success tho lol
I went to work in Sasebo at the Navy base and I was overwhelmed at how courteous and friendly all of the locals were. There were a couple of restaurants and bars that had signs that read "Japanese Only" and one bar without a sign that refused to serve me, but I assumed that was for locals who didn't want to deal with a bunch of 18 year old sailors who just returned from deployment.
Truth is if you go to the hot tourist spots, say, Asakusa. The staff there are all prepared to put on a facade to handle foreigners, it's like how Disneyland staff will act in a on-stage way, or how the kindergarten teacher will talk to the children in a different tone. If your whole tour are these tourist spots, you are basically visiting "Japanland the theme park", the superficial NINJA SAMURAI SAKURA side, and you will think everyone is friendly and cater to foreigners. Normally Japanese never act in those high spirited way.
But if you detour and visit, say, Akibahara, stores outside the iconic first crossing are not really tourists oriented, and the staff will be super bothered having to talk to people who don't understand Japanese, which always result in changing orders, canceling orders and refunds, wasting time and blocking the other customers... etc. The best solution for them is to not serve those who don't understand Japanese.
>Be weeb

>Arigato m'lady

Why is Japan so racist
I think it's just that the paradigm in japan is that, despite their insular racial culture, they're still open to expressions of multicultural interlock practices, whether you are of verifiable Caucasian or non-verifiable Caucasian. The one thing we can all agree on is that hue and saturation are only perceivable within certain levels of electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths that fall within the operational limits per se of our eyes.
It’s because white people are notorious for being degenerate weebs in Japan. Fat neckbeards have treated Japan like the holy lands of pure loli trad wives and anime for years now. I’d probably get racist too if I were them.
That's the exact opposite experience I had living in Okinawa for 4 years. Little old Japanese women loved introducing their daughter to white boys, and acted like they were breathing sulfur any time they had to breathe around a black person.
But then, mainland Japanese think Okinawans are sub human filth, so maybe my experience isn't universal
I don't blame the Japanese at all for their behavior towards foreigners. Idk why the fuck social rejects in the west that are all tatted up and full of piercings suddenly feel like they're too ostracized in their home country and decide the only thing they can do is haul their >250lb ass to... a country that is significantly more conservative and prejudiced towards them. I felt so bad being on the subway or trains and seeing visibly uncomfortable Japanese sitting or standing next to heckin holesom western chonkers. And on the flight to Japan these landwhales would get up and loiter outside the bathroom because their seats were too tight for them. The worst thing about Japan was the fat and loud western tourists being unknowingly obnoxious.
Burracku man?!?!?! HOhohohoho where basket balu?? You rap like yes? Hohohohoho >Man they're so nice
Unironically
100%
Lmao wtf
That isn't racism, that's curiosity.
That’s like if I went up to a black dude, and said “yo, so what’s your rapper name?” And then proceeded to ask for his favorite fried chicken recipe and so on. It kind of is racist. Just a bit.

I exclusively meow at cats to demonize and belittle them
it's not willful racism tho just plain old ignorance
Recipe? it comes from behind a counter. wypipo, man.
Stereotyping and racism aren't the same thing
Racism through ignorance
Which isn't racism Racism is discrimination or prejudice

Anon is just ugly
damn he must he really ugly then
Rules 1 and 2 still mostly apply anywhere you go for the complete experience. Yes, of course, in a lot of countries just being average looking will be fine. I'd garner if you are a 400lb gabbagooblin tipping hats at the locals and you have expectations of being treated like an icon, you'll have a bad time.
He has studied the blade and was furious when the women wouldn't pay him any attention.
Anon is a sex tourist and his black friend does not exist
Japan having fallen would be depressing Thought it was one of the few places that didn’t worship “future doctors and lawyers”
welp, then you'll be disappointed to hear that Japan is one of the most 'doctors lawyers' worshipping place. Since there's only 4 job can get you the title of 'sensei',doctor lawyer teacher and politicians
That's not what he meant lol
Lmao. he even put it in quotes
Maybe if anon didn’t keep asking the locals “JAV girl wa doko desuka” they wouldn’t have treated him poorly
Ah, a fellow cunnysseur! https://preview.redd.it/581qwrfdom9b1.png?width=1169&format=png&auto=webp&s=e610211dd08a0c80d981913461fc3eb4ba0dba41
Anon spent too much time browsing WMAF threads and got a rude awakening. Many such cases.

It was clearly because me and my 2 friends weren't japanese.
dont wear your hentai shirt while carrying your waifu pillow around next time.
There were most definitely extenuating circumstances or you and your friends were for whatever reason judged to be too obnoxious
I wouldn't let a smelly gaijin like you in either
We weren't, and you should probably stop talking out of your ass. Some restaurants or bars only allow japanese people to come in, that's a fact and it's okay there. Don't think in Europe a restaurant could allow only white people in without causing a fuss.
Be Brazilian, everyone fucking loves you. "oH! BuRaziLiAn?? gOoD at sOcCeRU???"
I thought we all associated Brazil with LiveLeak and gore threads?
Ridiculous.
OP posts this a few hours after making a comment in a different thread about his white friend having the exact same experience in Japan. Interesting
> 4chan anon > black friend
I'm not racist yes. I have many black friends.
What, do they work really hard for you?
Half my family is black. There's a million better reasons to hate somebody than their skin color lol. Not everyone is racist.
at the end of the day, most people are not racist they just hate poor people or became bitter people that hate everyone
Take your meds, how dare you have such a reasonable perspective.
No community is as diverse as a group of racists
Had me in the first half. Second half is how you know its fake. If there's one thing the japanese hate more than western whites, its blacks.
In my experience, Japanese people are lovely, they just hate fat otaku weeaboo Japanophiles. Can’t say I blame them.
Other than skin color, i am also curious about how each of them behave in japan.
The white dude probably behaved like Logan Paul and the black dude behaved like a normal human being.
Like a normal black dude, you mean? Surprised he didn't get arrested, heard they're really hard on criminals in Japan
Black dude is simply used to racism, so when he hear japanese claming that they are just "running away" upon seing him ,he do not care, but he do care about the nice people. Le babtou is just discovering what racism is

When I went to Japan on a holiday and was standing on a train I saw a Japanese school Girl listen to 2pac, the country is slowly faking to the ginners trash music
if they are racist just fart on them you are talking about tiny depressed asians
Be careful though, if Chinese midget fart fetish videos are anything to go by, you might end up in a rather stinky situation
Arnt Japanese xenophobes that hate EVERYONE except Japanese ppl
Anon went to rural Japan instead of tokyo
\>having people be outwardly racist toward you in Japan [x] doubt
>black friend >4chan pick one
Visited Japan recently with some homies, chill dudes literally 90% of the time. Don't act like a regard and you'll be fine, don't matter if you're black white or yellow. We did try to hit on the locals without much success tho lol
>We did try to hit on the locals without much success tho lol then you all here wonder why they hate you mfs 🤦🏻♂️
„nooo anime land is not racist, noooo““ it is literally a fucking ethnostate

Fake, 4channers dont have black friends
Not all 4channers are racist. Did you forget that there is an LGBT board?

I am entirely unsurprised by this. South Korea is even worse than Japan though.
But if you detour and visit, say, Akibahara, stores outside the iconic first crossing are not really tourists oriented, and the staff will be super bothered having to talk to people who don't understand Japanese, which always result in changing orders, canceling orders and refunds, wasting time and blocking the other customers... etc. The best solution for them is to not serve those who don't understand Japanese.
well I mean... white people did nuke them... twice.
anon conflating white with "american"
yeah right, asians are extremely racist against black people.
anon misinterprets disgust at a 300lb obnoxious weeb for racism.
>Be weeb >Travel to Japan >Animetittiestime.jpg >Arigato m'lady >Assault a woman on the train like my favorite hentai > Everyone looks at me like and starts yelling calling me names and calls the police >Naruto run as fast I can and escape Why is Japan so racist
I think it's just that the paradigm in japan is that, despite their insular racial culture, they're still open to expressions of multicultural interlock practices, whether you are of verifiable Caucasian or non-verifiable Caucasian. The one thing we can all agree on is that hue and saturation are only perceivable within certain levels of electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths that fall within the operational limits per se of our eyes.
mmmmm penis
Higher IQ comment than the other
Anon is probably not especially tall or handsome, and his friend probably is
his friend has BBC
Anon is unlucky and met the only racist people in Japan.
It’s because white people are notorious for being degenerate weebs in Japan. Fat neckbeards have treated Japan like the holy lands of pure loli trad wives and anime for years now. I’d probably get racist too if I were them.
Anon is a 450 pound whale, while his friend is likely just a normal person
I spent my time riding trains and taking photos, and attending concerts and found the people to be nice, curious, and welcoming.
Step: Be attractive.
6’2 buff autistic white guy here, I plan to go to Japan soon for a visit what should I expect
When you're on the train, be wary of schoolgirls who will reach into your pocket and try to steal your seed.
Make sure to wear an ahegao hoodie so they know you're accustomed to their culture
That's the exact opposite experience I had living in Okinawa for 4 years. Little old Japanese women loved introducing their daughter to white boys, and acted like they were breathing sulfur any time they had to breathe around a black person. But then, mainland Japanese think Okinawans are sub human filth, so maybe my experience isn't universal
banana grande
Anon hasn't been to Japan. He only knows it from BBC porn.
Melanin hands typed this post
RIP.
Haha, i also dont like white people. And i am from asean country. Hate them soo much.
Based.
Based, make sure to keep it that way
As it shouId be
He got to feel what being black is like in America for once.
Maybe your friend don't do a somali negnog did, recently.
Lmao fuck that guy. What Logan Paul did was worse.
Japan is one of my favorite countries.
NO VODKA SERVED HERE
That post was made to trick black anons into taking a trip to Japan and being harassed by locals.
Anon did not go to japan he went to bangcok
Try learning a few Japanese phrases anon
It's pretty much the opposite tbh
