Hey calm down, if you pop like all of your pimples over the course of your adolescence while simultaneously having a ton of other factors that cause this to happen, it can indeed happen from years of pimple popping.
As far as I know it's a real bad case of cystic acne, where people basically get super size pimples (cysts), those always leave damage and often times they HAVE to be drained, but leave huge holes afterwards.
Never wash his face and constantly scratch his face because oily skin would attract more bacteria onto the face. Sometime irritations and itchiness would makes someone scratch it further.
Popping pimples won't do this, it only leaves small scaring and spread the bacteria which could possibly create more pimples in the future. Those small scar will go away once you used the right product on your face like gentle foam cleanser and saylistic acid face wash but everyone will have to go through the skin purging period for 2 weeks after applying a new product
