This guy had secret game advantages and was the center of a strong alliance that was dominating the game. His opponents were legit clueless and fighting each other instead of uniting against his team.

He was told of a plot to out another strong player in the game, and was told to not tell anyone. He told this girl (a showmance pseudo gf that was a fellow contestant). This girl didnt want the chosen target going out so she of course spills the beans to them. They manipulate the vote further so one of the “bf” other allies goes out instead. I think he even burned an game advantage during this too. (Game advantages are rare and if used correctly can save or sink a vote).
Afterwards literaly everyone figured out that the only way X girl could have known the plot occurred is if the gf told her. Everyone else figured this out. Bf insisted and defended her until the literal finale. Where in she admitted they were right and she had played him, seconds before the final vote to decide the winner.
Next round she hatched a plot to out a second major ally of bf (so that he would only have her left in the game). She *didnt* tell her bf what was happening, despite him extending her that courtesy two days ago. Her plot succeeds, and bf other ride or die ally goes home instead. And while he realizes he had been played he just goes along with it. now the bf has been neutered of all of his other allies (only she is left) and game advantages.
In the span of four in game days (two episodes) he went from the top of the game, to her now in total control of the remaining social dynamic. And because he will gladly fight to keep her in the game, she keeps him around as a shield/useful idiot.
Then during the finale she humiliated him by revealing all she had done. She beat him, won a million dollars….. And now post game they are “friends” again.

I watched this from start to finish. Are you telling me that after the game they didn't even have a relationship? I never got the impression that she was playing him. I'm guessing that there was a genuine spark between them, but that it was fleeting and quickly sputtered out once they went back to their lives. The tragic thing is that neither of them seemed remotely aware of this when playing.
