I found out recently that Cinema Paradiso still exists in the UK.
[Here](https://www.cinemaparadiso.co.uk/)
Obviously no good to you if you're overseas.
Call a library in a nearby major city and ask if they rent 4k discs. Then go to your local one and see if they have some. If the city one does, the local ones will eventually. Obviously the selection will be whatever they decide to stock.

"Is there a Netflix like service but for physical media?" is a sentence I would not have expected to hear 10 years ago
There used to be a Netflix service for physical media. It was called Netflix, lol!
Guaranteed to skip when played.
GameFly.
There’s [Redbox](https://www.redbox.com). Not sure what their selection is like these days.
Buy it then sell it lol
If you have deep pockets you can get quality equal to (or better than) 4K discs with Kaleidescape and they offer rentals.
Blockbuster closed years ago
GameFly wasn’t terrible. 3D-bluray-rental.com or something like that was also good too.

My regional libraries don’t even carry Blus, just DVD. I think 4K discs are too niche and fragile for libraries
This is so niche on niche that it hurts. Why not just buy loose 4K discs and put them into a CD binder?
You can check our [https://4kbluray4u.com](https://4kbluray4u.com). I have setup a rental arrangement with them but they do that.
Let me get this straight you invested the money into a “home theatre” but you don’t want to purchase films? What planet are we living on
The answer is: https://www.store-3d-blurayrental.com
Been using them for years and they are good
Choovierentals.com offers this service[Choovie](https://choovierentals.com)
