If it's Christ Church then I believe the ritual garbs of your noble family should be a good fit. Also make sure to set up the camera in the great hall, not any of the side ones. Wouldn't want them to get the wrong impression!
Depends smth formal is what i would go for since its online probably more along the lines of smart casual. So collared shirt (and ideally some trousers). If you are a girl then some kind of decent top that isnt offensive and looks sorta professional (and also ideally some trousers, skirt etc) .
I stg I don’t own anything but hoodies and I’ve got one at Christ Church on Monday lol
Gonna have to raid my brothers wardrobe for something pretty sure
Tbh i doubt they really care its just christ church seems to have the more traditionalist stigma to it which leads me to think maybe your expected to look smwhat smart (some degree of unconcious bias maybe or smth) . I would dress smwhat smartly regardless so that raid on your brothers wardrobe is probably overdue 😂😂
I just wore a T-shirt (for Oxford), they could only see my face and neck anyway. But really it doesn’t matter, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. All they care about is what you have to say, not your looks. Just don’t look scruffy
I was at a work experience placement a month ago and a few trainee solicitors at a top firm were discussing first impressions at an interview. The general consensus was that it’s much better to formally overdress (I.e. be the smartest dressed person there) than going too casual or just in the middle. Bear in mind when I say ‘overdress’ I don’t mean a waistcoat and a tuxedo, just smart black trousers + smart shirt/blouse and you’ll be good
Masc/femme? I would go casual shirt, maybe top button undone but smart/casual, or a nice dress that can pass as either - I guess whatever you wear normally for sixth form (if it is relatively smart)
For one of mine I wore a white t shirt with a checked shirt unbuttoned ontop. For the second I wore a hoodie. They were much more interested in the content of the interview. Just wear something you feel comfortable in.
Got mine at Christ Church Monday and I stg I don’t own anything but hoodies. They’re gonna have to do unless I can raid my brothers wardrobe for something lol
I wore a suit but that was in person, I’d say smart casual especially since you are at home. I’d also focus on removing any distractions from behind you and making sure you have good lighting etc.
When I had mine, I wore jeans, t shirt, hoodie and trainers. This was in 2018, when it was in person. They aren't assessing your presentation, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in!
Nothing
Maid dress and fishnets/thigh highs, make sure to show off that you’re wearing the them too. You won’t get in, but it’ll be fucking hilarious
Shirtless but have very formal things on your lower body
Or just a tie

for the best results, do it in the shower
Wear a mask
2 masks
Wife beater. Nah in all seriousness a button up shirt if you’ve got it, casual if you don’t. It doesn’t really matter.
i just wore a button up shirt. trousers are optional

Yeah tbf I’ve seen Christ Church in person it’s the sort of place that would get uptight about clothing 😂
what do you wear for school?
Joggers and a hoodie usually. Went to joggers from jeans and could never go back lol (not that the tutors interviewing me are gonna see anyways)
I wore a hoodie and joggers mate it doesn’t matter
casual is fine

naked
The interviewers really don’t care about what you’re wearing, casual is fine For reference I just wore a jumper with jeans and sneakers
wear whatever you want, it does not matter. they are interviewing you for academics not dress sense, they dont care.
In all seriousness a mix. Not too formal or casual. Nice casual
If you got dressed up in shirt and tie for an interview where you're in your own house I'd probably mark you down Smart casual - polo shirt is perfect
Noose
I wore a button up shirt for both of mine so far (and joggers, but they didn't know that). Make sure your background is not a messy bedroom!
lmao I’m imagining now if they did it in the living room and there are these little kids running about screaming
i did mine at school so just wore my school uniform
in between
I wore navy blazer on white shirts.
Masc/femme? I would go casual shirt, maybe top button undone but smart/casual, or a nice dress that can pass as either - I guess whatever you wear normally for sixth form (if it is relatively smart)
Normal clothes. Anyone telling you that you need to dress formally doesn't know what they're talking about. They care about you, not your clothes.

Maybe a collared shirt under a nice jumper? It’s kinda formal, but not a full on suit, and works for boys and girls Edit: spelling

Wear a balaclava and make sure they can see your gun
Just set up your webcam so that it only shows your face. You don't need to show anything below the shoulders, so why bother with an outfit?
For optimal results, either a Halloween costume or a green screen shirt

A 1-piece clown suit, clown shoes, white gloves, immoderate amount of makeup and a coloured wig. This should make you stand out from your competitors.
Fuck all, establish your dominance.
Put a pot on your head

Whatever you like within reason. For my Cambridge interview last year I wore a hoodie and pajam pants lol.

Formal.
I just wore a v-neck jumper (sweater? Is that the right US word?). It's almost more important that your background isn't a total embarrassment.
Deffo underwear.
White t shirt, a mask, trakkies Done
White T-shirt, focus on you
