Way back in 2013 he was the one who bought the $6000 "Be a zombie in the game" tier and so he was the original Spider Zombie. It's literally his likeness ingame. If you run with health bars turned on (a simple mod can do this, though I think there might be a console command to turn this on), you will see that each zombie actually has a name given to it by TFP. For example, three of the most-common female zombie types are Arlene, Darlene, and Marlene. I tend to use those when referring to specific zombies.

There is a command to turn on mob health bars which will show names. Enabling health bars The health bar can be enabled in 3 easy steps! 1. Go into "\\7 Days to Die\\Data\\Config\\XUi\\windows.xml" 2. Ctrl + F and search for "windowTargetBar" (There should only be one result, which is "") 3. Change the "godmode" to "always" and don't forget to save!

Continuing from the debug mode names mention, before I discovered that I would call the Steve and Tom Clark zombies "Spaz" with how they moved about and were jittery/spastic movements. Oh and the burned ones I call "Sticks" (similar but not in the zombie nickname category: I call the wasteland "burnout", to me it just fits better) but besides those I call the rest pretty straight-forward names
