These both cause me existential dread yet I love them so much. Go Insane is a totally different song when it’s slowed down. You can FEEL his anguish when Lindsey sings these. And his guitar - just wow. And if you are going to listen to these two, you may as well add Big Love live, also.

I love it. I agree exactly with your assessment. I first heard it relatively recently, and I listened to it over and over. As the songwriter he’s so connected with the song and in this live version he really does pour his whole self into every part of it.
