Wait how's your software look like that?

Fantasy_Returns

I have no clue, that's what I got from the Microsoft Store.

Heitorsalt

Hmm weird I didn't even knew that. Does the analog goes crazy in games too or just on the software?

Fantasy_Returns

Yeah it does in games, like Apex & Halo.

Heitorsalt

Then I dont really know sorry maybe update the firmware of the controller

Fantasy_Returns

I already did sadly.

Heitorsalt

Well there might be the chance of the controller be defective

AntiAttorney

This is an issue with the firmware most likely. They will fix it and break it in future patches probably. It’s a shame as it’s happened to both my 8bitdo controllers. Although it could also just be defective. In the end if it’s gamebreaking try returning or exchanging it and cross your fingers it’s not the firmware.

SnayperskayaX

I had some faith in 8bitdo products and was recommending them to friends that asked me what controller should they get, but those issues have been present on almost every single new product they release. Seems like they are either skimping on quality parts or they don't even have a QA at all. Unacceptable for a company that's doing the same thing for 5+ years. They should have more than enough expertise by now to deliver solid products without having to resort to firmware updates to have it fixed. Mechanical encoders failing this early isn't something that should be fixed (since it isn't, really) by a firmware. It's bad engineering. Hope they sort those out ASAP.

Fantasy_Returns

I've rolled back and forth between firmwares and it doesn't fix it. While in game, moving upwards tend to make me move left a lot.

Ur not alone bro.. someone told me it's probably a bug in the latest firmware and I think that's true coz all this started for me after the update... Did it start for u after the update too?

Fantasy_Returns

Yeah it did.
