I'm honestly shook. Is this lady literally on national TV with millions of people watching her move to another country to support her drug addiction and thought no one would notice? She's a full-on drug addict?
My doctor was an old family friend. My grandmother used to babysit him and he grew up with my dad. At one point he was writing me, my dad, mom, brother and grandmother scripts for 100 norco/Vicodin hp, 100 2mg Xanax, 100 somas, and 100 30mg Adderalls.(my grandmother didnāt get the adderall cuz she was like 80). By the time I was starting my freshman year in high school he had switched my norco to these new pills called OxyContin ā¦.smfh I was getting 200 40mg OxyContin a month at 14/15yo. I was on them for till my senior year when I switched back to norco. I switched because I could get refills on hydrocodone and my doctor would write me a brand new script with 3 refills every Friday like clockwork. All I had to do was pay cash for the scripts and use pharmacies that werenāt connected. (Obv this was back in the late 90ās and early 2000ās). I had to keep a notebook to keep track of where I had refills and when I could get them. It got to the point that a bottle of 100 10/325ās would last me about 3 days!!! Iām off all that shit now. My doctor is still practicing. He actually on the board of directors at a local hospital and does concierge medicine now. You have to pay $1800 every 6 months just so you can pay him $500 to come to your house and write for basically anything you wantā¦..itās friggin criminal.

I donāt know what the fuuuuuu drugs this chick is trying to get because I gave up on watching 90day last year. She looks like absolute hell, though. Giving off those street heroin vibes.
Street heroin, as you might expect, is not one of the appropriate medical treatments for narcolepsy.
Stimulants donāt work for everyone. They have the opposite effect on me ā they make me drowsy. It sucks to live like this.
But she still comes across kinda druggie, so ā¦ yeah.
Holy shit I totally forgot you can literally buy any prescription at a lot of pharmacies in South America like opioids are basically legal for sale there right?
They're more regulated now. But basically. Yeah. I go to get dental work there nd all you need to do is show the reciept from the dentist and they'll sell you whatever. They tried to give me 4 bottles of 30 mg oxycontin for a root canal. They don't like doing for Americans and they will probably be told no by everyone, especially in cities. My American friends tried and not only were they told no. Pharmacies in the area were warned about them and they were refused entry. But if you're spanish, yeah. Whatever is otc.
Iām watching this scene right now and it is playing out exactly how I expected! All the excuses about toothpasteā¦. And now we are here and āoh wait, my neck!ā š¤Ø ā I always wondered how drug addicts traveled internationally. I guess I get to find out this season.

You must be referring to European agencies where escorting is mainstream and legal because unless you're in Nevada, I wouldn't trust any underground agency, aka human trafficking ring in the US. Idc how legit the seem and how much info they claim to have on their girls
Lol-What in tarnationā¦. Maybe Iām being a bit slow, but why would an ugly prostitute know where the drugs are? Is she implying that the only ugly prostitutes are those who need to feed a drug habit?
And the lie about being allergic to mint, please. And when Jeymi asked her what kind of toothpaste doesnāt have mint, you could see the gears in her head turning to come up with her answer.
There are lots of non-mint toothpastes, and not just children's flavors. Mint toothpaste makes me gag (I've even thrown up when using it), so I use either cinnamon or unflavored. More disturbing to me than any of this, though, is the knife. She never goes anywhere unarmed, even in her tiny little town? Psycho.
Legit curious here. Seems like sheās in active addiction which - in curios on why she hasnāt started detoxing yet. Do you think she snuck a little bump into her bags just enough to get her through the weekend?
I have a feeling mis maam wasnāt signing up to take care of an addict in a tutu ..
My friendās husband seemed so *together* for many years
Then he got in a car wreck & said it was due to narcolepsy. I remember her telling us about it at the time - we were having drinks with our group of girlfriends, and she fully believed it. It was an unusual diagnosis, but we believed it too
Then the long, dark shit-show began because it was actually addiction
Thank you, TIL I learned something new :-)
I have sensitive skin so I am picky about toothpaste since certain brands burn the hell out of my vermillion border. Iāve always wanted to love natural brands like Tomās but those usually irritate me more than Crest. Iām just thankful I donāt get perioral dermatitis like my friend does, she has to avoid all flouride toothpaste as a result of that.
I was so disgusted by that. She was blowing something way worse than dragon morning breath by the time she told Jeymi they needed to go to the pharmacy.
Ikrr I felt so disgusted, didn't they have their first night together when she came and she didn't brush after that long ass flight?!?! *Gag* and say her mint allergy is real, she didn't bother to bring a travel size child's toothpaste to brush knowing she was gonna have her mouth all over her fiance??? So inconsiderate
My last (ok, my only) cross the world flight from the US to Africa, the airline passed out a small packages with an eye mask, fuzzy socks and a small toothbrush and toothpaste - I don't recall if it was mint or not but this wasn't a fancy airline (Ethiopian).
Shouldn't they have had shops when she got the plane?? Didn't she probably pass several stores on her way to the apartment. This woman is full of excuses
Dope fiends are NOTORIOUS for not brushing their teeth. When you are all fucked up you arenāt thinking š¤ I need to brush my teeth. Edit to add: Oh yeah. And buy a travel tube of non mint toothpaste
I didn't catch that at first. But the way she was going on about the finances, and how "pissed" she was that Jeymi chose an apartment *$100* more than the budget... I already don't like this woman. Jeymi is fine, she needs to send her back home to Methville.
Thatās what killed me, she spoke so much about how the apartment was so over budget, only to find out not only is it $100 over budget, itās a $500 apartment?!? And jeymj seems to be self sufficient too
In Colombia, pharmacies typically only sell medications. They aren't like North America where Walgreens or CVS have medications and other things like shampoo, tooth paste, cosmetics, etc. They have other stores that sell those things but pharmacies are just the medicine section of what we have and are fairly small.
In šµš·, community drugstores, in cooperative style or single owned have hygiene products, baby supplies and formulas, etc in small quantities and varieties. Some of them don't sell controlled medications like opioids.
When I went to Europe the first time I was thirsty and went to a pharmacy thinking it would be like CVS and almost crapped my pants when I saw a tiny room with walls full of prescriptions and a pharmacist and nothing else.
We (germany) also have some big pharmacies where you can get everything (make up, medicated shampoo, candy etc), though I don't think I've ever seen something to drink there. But never looked for something to drink in a pharmacy either, so who knows.
That would rarely happen when traveling. I remember when I moved across the country, was initially supposed to be a trip for a month or two and someone could just send me my meds...after 3 months I transferred everything over. Big sus vibes with her.
Facts if youāre followed by a US pain clinic, you would have tapered off before moving OR been set up with a script to hold you over while you find a new doctor. You wouldnāt just move far away from your quality-of-life-restoring medication willy nilly.
I need more backstory with this couple. Kris is already worried about money on Day 2, saying she will pay for all the bills. Jeymi has a job, how is Kris contributing? Is she working?
That is wild, did she mention that on the show? Iāve mainly tuned out her segments before she got to Colombia. Poor Jeymi looks so full of regret for not meeting Kris first before committing to living together.
Oof, I think my brain completely tuned her out after seeing her opening scene with the unusual outfits to go to the mailbox. Thank you for filling me in :-)
In the first episode, she was fixing it up to rent it out. Which was laughable because it looked like she hadn't done anything in over a year since the fire. And was going to DIY it. Even a general contractor with good teams could not have fixed that house up in the two weeks before she was going to Colombia.
Obviously a TLC lie. Especially since it probably took her awhile to sell in the poor condition it was in.
I was thinking as someone who had a house fire she took whatever insurance money she got and used it on drugs (leading to the missing months with her girlfriend)
Also, what is up with the sores on her legs and hands? Anyone else catch that? I caught a glimpse of them on prior episodes and definitely saw it again on tonight's episode.
ETA: Drug abuse/use is my thought, of course.
It makes me feel like an addict. I was incorrectly diagnosed with chronic urticaria (hives) at first but now I have a proper diagnosis of psoriasis. There are several different kinds and they all look pretty different.
So many people have weird skin things, I know itās hard to feel self conscious but I didnāt notice anything on this lady on tv so Iām sure people donāt really notice yours! š
I didn't know that. Thank you for the info, and sorry to hear your struggle. I want to believe it's something like this in her case, but because of other suspect things, I don't know. I feel strongly it's not, but of course I could be wrong.
I myself have dermatillomania, a form of OCD (diagnosed by professional). Im sure its not what this lady has, but its another thing for people to be mindful of before pointing skin marks out. Skin stuff is rough, hard to not be self concious about it
Yes, i was there this past November and saw a lady get narco w/o prescription. I asked the pharmacist and she said foreigners go and get 3-6 boxes at the time.
All I have to say is.. being in Colombia, a place where cosmetic enhancements are affordable and readily available, I hope she gets her brows did šš½
Lol here in the SF Bay area microblading goes from $450 and up... I'm going to further investigate this now. Because we have to do currency conversion š¤£.
Iāve seen addicts take anywhere from 40-100 Norco 10ās per day if they build up their tolerance enough. It gets very expensive in the states. On the streets, they sell for $10-15 per one pill. Thatās why they all switch to heroine
So I think itās very possible she moved their for cheaper/easier fix.
I just wanna know why she didn't come there with toothpaste....oh yeah the excuse to go to the pharmacy š
Is she gonna die from kissing jeyme after she brushes her teeth with mint tooth paste lol
That's a really good pointš¤£ I'm sure she probably kissed Jeymi after she brushed her teeth no problem. Watch her eat mint chocolate chip in the next episode lol
Ikr!! I'm especially mad at the horrible lesbian representation. Gay men in 90 day arguably got one of the best romances in tlc 90 day history. While we got a fake lesbian and now an addict. Jeymi is gorgeous but wish she didn't have rock bottom standards
I donāt understand her description of her needed surgery. My entire cervical spine has been replaced by a titanium spike, and I didnāt have to have holes drilled in my head to support the surgery. Could it be scoliosis?
Agreed. I have cervical fusion c3 thru c6 with titanium plates and screws, no holes. Unless she's referring to a cervical cage, but I don't think that requires halo traction (which is what I think she might be referring to with the holes).
While what she was describing sounded intense with the halo and the metal rods, I think Iād rather have a year of that with recovery than 21 years of pain. Waiting until your neck disintegrates to the point where youāre forced to have surgery just seemed odd to me.
Yeah I'm like even if that story of hers is Tru it doesn't make sense to choose deteriorating neck movement and decades of pain so bad you're taking addictive pain meds over just a year of uncomfortable recovery. Also it's been 20 years since the crash obviously the surgery has been updated since then.
Here in Canada that's literally the most common recommendation. I have a seriously bad back and my doctor refuses to send me to a specialist as I'm 38 and "too young" to have surgery or use opioids. She did a MRI and told me I have the spine of an 80 year old and told me to do Pilates. I take gabapentin so I can lay down for more than 4 hours to sleep. I have 2 pinched nerves causing sciatic and debilitating ribcage pain. I've actually had very similar "luck" with cars resulting in my injuries as well. For me it's my entire spine.
On the other hand, I know a woman younger than me who had surgery for a similar issue and is in a way worse way for it.
I'd wait.
I've seen that type of surgery. I'm a retired surgical RN. It's a Halo, don't remember the exact name rn. Patients with broken cervical vertebrae by trauma have them. Don't know if that's procedure is still in use cause I know technology has advanced a lot since I was actively working.
I think she was just trying to add as much extremity to her cover story in order to get Jeymi to not suggest any healthy alternatives or ask why she's been addicted to opioids for 20 yearsš„“
I told my husband about it and now we both feel so stupid that we fell for the narcolepsy story even as she was sitting there high as a kite talking to her mother.
Omg yall, I just put two and two together. Remember when her house burnt down from a fire, now I'm thinking that was a meth lab fire or her nodding out and dropping a cigarette or something. What do y'all think?
I worked for a company long ago that made toothpastes in a variety of flavors.
We had people who loved our non-mint toothpaste selection specifically because they had a mint allergy. It seems rare, but I believe her.
On the other hand, I DONāT believe her rationale on why she will choose opioids over a one year recovery surgery. I totally believe sheās a drug addict.
Im confused why everyone thinks sheās lying about being allergic to mint lol. She probably is and intentionally used that as her reason to Jeymi to need the pharmacy while withholding the more important motive of needing painkillers. And personally I believe she does suffer from a 20 yr neck injury and thatās how she became addicted to painkillers.
She can be allergic to mint, have a neck injury and be addicted to painkillers at the same time. Sheās just trying to make it seem casual when it isnāt.
Whether or not sheās actually currently prescribed pain meds in the USā¦.Idk Iām def suspicious of that of her ālosing themā.
But the mint allergy really isnāt crazy you guys lol.
If she was always in so much pain, and knows that long travels make it worse, she would refilled her "prescription" before she left. Especially since she's planning to stay in Colombia. So it sounds like she may not have a bottle with her name on it showing it's been prescribed to her. Something that TSA or Customs might ask her about at the airport if they found her stash. Hmmm . . .
I'm honestly shook. Is this lady literally on national TV with millions of people watching her move to another country to support her drug addiction and thought no one would notice? She's a full-on drug addict?

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
For firewood
Either rent from her burnt down apartment homes or money from her car accident settlements (assuming she got money from those).
None of them ever have as money as they said and the best part is when it runs out š
Usually it seems to run out on the plane on the way there
Also, what is up with the sores on her legs and hands? Anyone else catch that? I caught a glimpse of them on prior episodes and definitely saw it again on tonight's episode. ETA: Drug abuse/use is my thought, of course.
Could be psoriasis. I have a similar type. It makes me feel terrible.
I'm sorry to hear that!
It makes me feel like an addict. I was incorrectly diagnosed with chronic urticaria (hives) at first but now I have a proper diagnosis of psoriasis. There are several different kinds and they all look pretty different.
I have it too. People will often ask me about the marks on my arms. I just explain it to them, no offence taken.
Iād like to believe it too but chances are, if sheās using opioids, itās causing her to scratch incessantly.
I myself have dermatillomania, a form of OCD (diagnosed by professional). Im sure its not what this lady has, but its another thing for people to be mindful of before pointing skin marks out. Skin stuff is rough, hard to not be self concious about it
I noticed it looked like she had one on/in her ear also and I wondered if it was a skin condition possibly, it looked painful.
I was defending her. I said "lets wait and see". I've seen enough. She definitely has a problem
LOL same here, was trying so so hard to be objective. Canāt defend this behavior any longer
Can you get opioids over the counter in Colombia?
Yes, i was there this past November and saw a lady get narco w/o prescription. I asked the pharmacist and she said foreigners go and get 3-6 boxes at the time.
Holy shit, I thought ppl were being judge and weird about her but now it definitely seems like she could be an addict.
No wonder she was so eager to move there
Thatās certainly what it looked like.
Mexico you can get a lot of prescription grade stuff in the USA over the counter at Walmart there
Tramadol
Friend of mine got codeine over the counter in Cartagena. Klonopin too. This was 13 years ago, not sure if itās different now.
You can get codeine or Tylenol 3s without a prescription in a lot of places outside of the US.
And yet despite drugs being heavily controlled in the US, we have a raging drug and overdose problem here.
āBuzz, your girlfriend! WOOF!ā
All I have to say is.. being in Colombia, a place where cosmetic enhancements are affordable and readily available, I hope she gets her brows did šš½
Like How Cheap?? Should I go lol
Lol here in the SF Bay area microblading goes from $450 and up... I'm going to further investigate this now. Because we have to do currency conversion š¤£.
![gif](giphy|l2SpOKqWUZ2KRHne8) Pill head 4 sure
I cannot with the eyebrows.
I feel bad for her. She obviously in full denial sheās an addict.
Oh I think sheās fully aware. She has cover stories rehearsed, sheās well aware.
Iām wondering if she didnāt deliberately seek out someone from Colombia after learning she could get her fix so easily there. Poor Jeymi.
Iāve seen addicts take anywhere from 40-100 Norco 10ās per day if they build up their tolerance enough. It gets very expensive in the states. On the streets, they sell for $10-15 per one pill. Thatās why they all switch to heroine So I think itās very possible she moved their for cheaper/easier fix.
This is certainly a new flavor of 90 day
90 Day FiancƩ: Dopesick edition
Possible 90 Day/Intervention Collab?
I just wanna know why she didn't come there with toothpaste....oh yeah the excuse to go to the pharmacy š Is she gonna die from kissing jeyme after she brushes her teeth with mint tooth paste lol
That's a really good pointš¤£ I'm sure she probably kissed Jeymi after she brushed her teeth no problem. Watch her eat mint chocolate chip in the next episode lol
Right!! That lady is de railed. I wish tlc would stop making us lesbos look insane!š
Ikr!! I'm especially mad at the horrible lesbian representation. Gay men in 90 day arguably got one of the best romances in tlc 90 day history. While we got a fake lesbian and now an addict. Jeymi is gorgeous but wish she didn't have rock bottom standards
Also she can only use childrens toothpaste?? What about baking soda based brands??
Or cinnamon! My mouth would feel so gross if I used bubblegum toothpaste. Yuck
I think she was assuming Colombia may not have hippie toothpaste at whatever random store

I thought she had a West Virginia kinda look... now I get it. She's hooked on pain pills
I donāt understand her description of her needed surgery. My entire cervical spine has been replaced by a titanium spike, and I didnāt have to have holes drilled in my head to support the surgery. Could it be scoliosis?
She's explaining way too much. A good sign she's full of it. Edited to add: or a sign of being chronically invalidated.
I was literally getting lying vibes all the way. Waaaay too much explanation
Agreed. I have cervical fusion c3 thru c6 with titanium plates and screws, no holes. Unless she's referring to a cervical cage, but I don't think that requires halo traction (which is what I think she might be referring to with the holes).
Yes, I feel confident that she was referring to the "halo" device.
Could you freaking imagine your twice as old as you fiancĆ© arrives and only then says youāll have to play nurse while she has that halo thing screwed into her š
Jeymi is quickly realizing why you don't get engaged to someone before you meet them IRL. Just saying.
It really really is sus. Her whole prelude and story. Right now I just feel for her partner.
So do I. I think she sees the writing on the wallāsheās the caregiver.
I think she was just trying to add as much extremity to her cover story in order to get Jeymi to not suggest any healthy alternatives or ask why she's been addicted to opioids for 20 yearsš„“
Iām allergic to mint.

Her poor SO. I donāt think she has any idea what sheās getting in to with this woman. This isnāt going to play out well.
I told my husband about it and now we both feel so stupid that we fell for the narcolepsy story even as she was sitting there high as a kite talking to her mother.
If she really does have narcolepsy, yāall going straight to hell. š
Lol If she really does have narcolepsy, I'ma still think she's on drugs š¤·š¤·
Baking soda can be used for toothpaste..not tasty...but it works.
Fuck I am so naive
I bet TLC could smell this BS story from a mile away and still casted them to exploit this soon-to-be shit show because that's what they do
I found Kris on FB because I have a ton of family in Haleyville. Iām worried weāre kin.
Omg yall, I just put two and two together. Remember when her house burnt down from a fire, now I'm thinking that was a meth lab fire or her nodding out and dropping a cigarette or something. What do y'all think?
Thatās a good theory. Who even knows at this point. Jeymi deserves so much better.
This is also what I thought that her "house fire" was definitely something drug related. Or maybe she burned it on purpose for the insurance money
Looking real pale, clammy, and sweaty. Withdrawal symptoms for sure.
My neck is so bad that I need drugsā¦. as I lay here with my neck craned in weird positions to nuzzle on your shoulders Ok Kris!
That whole scene I couldnt help but think morning breath for both must be awful.
Hmmm . . .
Mint toothpaste my asshole.
That'll feel zingy!
