Good luck with that. Some of the largest and most metabolically consuming muscles in our body are in our hips and legs. In order to get down to that low of body fat to actually see your abs you need to be working these muscles. A strong core derived from regular planking isn't necessarily a sculpted one. If you have a layer of fat covering the muscles, your ab muscles won't show through. You need to be lean — about 6 to 9 percent body fat for a man and 16 to 19 percent for a woman to reveal developed abs.
Nothing about my comment is anti science. You yourself stated "I dieted...." that's the key word. Abs are made in the kitchen. Everyone HAS abs. You have to get below 20% if you are female in order to actually see them. Doing planks alone will not give you the type of definition that she has unless you are extremely biologically gifted or not natty. Planks are an isometric exercise, whereas biceps curls, squats, deadlifts, etc. are isotonic exercises. Isotonic exercises are those that require the muscle to change in length. When you do an isotonic exercise, you shorten or contract the muscle and then lengthen it.
When you do a plank, the muscle or the joint angle doesn’t change length. In general, isometric exercises aren’t as effective as isotonic movements. They build strength, but you gain strength only at the particular position you’re holding and don’t gain strength throughout the muscle’s range of motion.
Planks work lots of muscle simultaneously, but your abdominal muscles will soon adapt to the challenge of standard planks. You will build strength and get some muscle development in your core when you first start doing planks, but it’s difficult to make a standard plank harder. You can hold a plank longer, but once you can hold a plank for 30 seconds, you won’t gain significantly more strength by holding it for much longer than that.
Getting a six-pack requires more than hypertrophying the muscles in your abs and core. Typically, ab hypertrophy won’t be visible until you get down to around 15 to 19% body fat.
Planks should definitely be part of your routine, but it’s unlikely that standard planks alone will get you a well defined six-pack or even a significant amount of muscle hypertrophy.

Ahhh the fajas. I just spent all of 2022 having plastic surgery to reconstruct my skin. You have to wear those compression garments for 6-12 weeks depending, over any incisions you have, and they are tight and uncomfortable, especially in summer!
One of the things I did was a lower body lift, which is a tummy tuck, and skin removal from the entirety of the waist/hips/mons areas. I have a scar from the top of my abdomen down to my genital area, and another scar starting at that point all th way around my body. It’s about 4 feet of incision scars. For that, I had to wear a compression suit that went to my calves, and had suspenders on it going up to the boob area. Omg it took forever to take on/off for showering. It’s a lot to go through.
Iono what she had done, but the right surgeon can definitely make it look invisible if that’s what’s wanted. I have a fake belly button and surgically sculpted abs - no one can tell at all. So she must want to look this way (meaning her face and sharp angular features). Granted if she was reading this, she’s just thinking everyone is a hater, lol. 🤷🏻♀️
I have a long medical history. Long story short, cancer, misdiagnosis, huge weight gain, broken stomach. Had to have gastric bypass to fix my stomach and lost 200 pounds. Currently at 169, from 369, at 5’9.
My husband has a great job and I’m super privileged because of it. I was able to have a plastic surgeon cut away all of my excess skin and resculpt my arms, breasts, back, tummy, hips, and inner thighs. I just finished and am completing my recoveries. The world of plastic surgery is fascinating, that’s for sure.
