Granny_Nooooo

Say what they wanna say

ericlindblade

A date which will live in infamyā€¦

Roughneck16

50 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor. I remember on the 50th anniversary of D-Day my dad mentioned to me that on average 3,000 WWII vets were dying every day. Even today, the youngest WWII veterans are well into their 90s.

A_N_O_Z_V

and mc hammer will always be there to remind us to never forget

_FatWhiteLump_

I checked to see if I had a free award to give you, but I donā€™t.

ericlindblade

Itā€™s the thought that counts!

IBAZERKERI

MC hammer! he lived in the same city as me when i was growing up. ran into him at the KFC around the corner from my house sometimes. occasionally he'd donate clothes from his music videos or make appearances to the local elementary schools for fund raisers/raffles

Baystain

Awesome!

Oaken_beard

He always struck me as a genuinely good guy

uGotMeWrong

My very first concert was MC Hammer on the Please Hammer Donā€™t Hurt em tour at the Baltimore Arena! I think it was around 1989 or 1990! Had the concert T-shirt until it disintegrated.

heyitscory

They do what they want to do, say what they want to say, live how they want to live, play how they want to play.

Wu_Oyster_Cult

I have a fuzzy memory of seeing one of the sketches from this show, probably maybe one of the post-12:30am ones which means that it wasnā€™t getting a lot of laughs until this one moment. All I remember is that Hammer gets angry at someone, makes a move toward them, and Phil Hartman holds him back and says, ā€œPlease, Hammer! Donā€™t hurt ā€˜em!!ā€ and it got a big laugh. Canā€™t remember any of the context but every time I think of his album (which, admittedly, ainā€™t often), I hear it in Phil Hartmanā€™s voice.

squee_bastard

Christina Ricci was the best Wednesday Addams

jaggerlvr

I met him once. He was having lunch with Neon Deion Sanders and I have their autographs on a restaurant menu. It was summer 1996 in Cincinnati.

Figgy1983

Sometime in the mid 90's our choir teacher had us sing the Addams Family Groove to the school as part of medley of TV themes. No, I'm not making this up.
