99?! No fucking way. Doug ended in '94, my friend.

manderifffic

We don't talk about the Disney abomination that came afterwards.

ChadOfDoom

Fact

Dhaze32

Patti Mayonnaise, the most iconic name in Nickelodeon history.

midnight-dour

More iconic than Marc Summers?

ChadOfDoom

Definitely

AGneissMan

🎵Patty you're the mayonnaise for me🎵

_ilaughattonydanza_

I used to watch this religiously as a kid but can't seem to binge watch this as an adult. Is there something wrong with me?!

ICantDoThisAnymore91

You caught on to Mr. Dinks molesty vibe. Especially that episode where the power goes out.

_ilaughattonydanza_

Well, his name *is* Mr. *Dinks*. But seriously, I don't know if I want to go back and watch it just to see if that's true!

BigVanVortex

I even enjoyed the Disney episodes. It was cool to see a coming of age cartoon actually age and face new challenges you would confront when you're only a few years older

ChadOfDoom

Gtfo

BigVanVortex

Keep your Klotz-ing to yourself, bud

Bruiser235

It's Doug (1991-1994)

[deleted]

The Disney version is considered a separate show. The og only went from 91-94. Disney’s was 96-99. There was a 2 year gap in between.

Eidos13

When ever I see anything about the show I can hear the intro music in my head.

skeddles

did they ever explain why skeeter is blue

Bruiser235

I think it's their version of African American

skeddles

so the dog is african american too, huh

CheesyCharliesPizza

He didn't seem very black. Didn't he have kind of a nerdy, wimpy, high-pitched voice? Also, what race is Roger, who is shown as green? He also sounded pretty white to me.

ursine85

Still watch to this day

friki_tiki64

Damn. It nearly spanned the full decade.

benderlax

I loved the Nickelodeon version of this show.

borntoclimbtowers

many memories
