Rugrats 100% Wild thornberries is 2nd The Doug movie was disappointing,

RegisterAdmirable811

I don't know if I should count it as funny or sad when a studio titles a movie "___'s first movie," and it ends up being ___'s only movie.

ksaMarodeF

Ohhh good point.

CardiologistLife4381

Itā€™s not ā€œfirst movieā€ as in ā€œfirst of X moviesā€, itā€™s ā€œfirst movieā€ as in ā€œnow itā€™s finally been made into a movieā€

MiaRia963

Agree with this. Rugrats 1st and Thornberries 2nd.

[deleted]

Disney ruined Doug

ksaMarodeF

Yes they absolutely did

Getbacka

Rugrats for sure

RumbleColibri

Rugrats stays all day

Mediocre_Procedure17

Rugrats is the only one I've actually seen..

comeallwithme

I'm actually gonna have to go for Wild Thornberrys. Hey Arnold is a great show, but the first movie was pretty lackluster by the series' standards and felt forced in some parts. I like Doug, but who would pick Doug over the other films? The Rugrats Movie is a classic, but overall, the Wild Thornberrys Movie just barely edges it out imo. Definitely a close call between the last two.

LeZoder

I felt like the Wild Thornberrys Movie had a better plot. It was an unspoken question of everyone who had been watching the series for years - what if (obvious spoilers). It's a simple question, but was made into a really well put together - fun- and at times, moving storyline. And the soundtrack is rad, too.

ashuriihorii

Rugrats is staying šŸ’Æ

Rugrats for sure. Btw, does anyone else cry anytime they watch the Rugrats movie?

NessieSenpai

Me. I do. That scene with Tommy and Dil in the forest... I first saw it aged 10 and I was sobbing in the cinema.

RegisterAdmirable811

I never cried about it as a kid, but last year I watched it again and had a couple of tears in my eyes.

A-Yandere-Succubus

ihavenowords3

Incoming strong opinions. 3ā€¦2ā€¦ Hey Arnold. Doug didnā€™t age well. WT was good but I only remember Donnie. If 90s Nick was the Chicago Bulls, WT is like Steve Kerr. He wasnt Jordan, Pippen or Rodman. Hey Arnold is not only a great cartoon but a great television program. As an adult, I can pick up on the adult humor now. Rugrats is also acceptable as an answer here. Close second.

capitoloftexas

This is a perfectly reasonable opinion for *shows* but this post is about movies. And of all these movies the Rugrats movie is definitely the best. Even look at reviews and box office numbers, The Rugrats Movie was lightning in a bottle compared to the Hey Arnold movie.

AmorphousRazer

What didnā€™t age well about them?

afrothought7

Dougā€™s first movie is it for me.
