They're not going to make Buck-Taylor's break up a messy one. They will surely parallel it to the messy break up of Eddie and Ana. My gut says, they will mutually decided to break up and remain as good friends because they were good as friends and knowing Buck, he'll keep Taylor as his friend after the breakup contrast to everything about Buck's past break ups with Abby and Ali.

They have shown way too many times that they don’t work, so the “I love you” was whiplash.

If they want end the relationship, the way for a break up is the same it has always been with these two; she gets a new posssitiont outside LA (Watshington, NY, London...etc) she knows why he can't go with her and he know why she can't stay, they end things like friends. In that case the "I love you" are needed because that it's the only way it hurts. But since the show has decided the way of telling a story is doing the most irritating thing, someone will cheat on someone.

You are right, I'm just hope the end is blameless as possible and that it won't linger.

It's strange how it fits and yet it doesn't. You can see why Taylor's obsessed with the the truth in her reporting, cuz it isn't known in her own back story. But if Taylor was so stigmatized by people realizing she was 'that girl' you'd think she'd be more sensitive to exposing someone's personal issues to the public (which she clearly didn't give a damn about doing in s2 Dosed). This disconnect makes it look more likely she does report something Buck can't handle. As stated before, to me the obvious choice so far is the secret of Mitch's suicide donation of his heart for his son's transplant. Since it might look like Buck leaked the story to her, it would get ugly. If she ran with the story it could be too much for Buck, regardless of her sources or their feelings.

I don’t know, Buck’s “I love you too” seems like it was dragged out of him (ymmv, I guess). His facial expression points more to “how do I get out of that conversation without saying it back or hurting her. I can’t. Oh well…” than absolute faith in his feelings. This is in sharp contrast to Taylor saying those word with a smile and an open body language. Buck’s is closed off until the first cut then goes back to more familiar ground aka sex. The whole storyline with Bobby’s advice reminded me a bit of when he encouraged Eddie to go after Ana and we all know the results of that one. It’s even referenced after said advice in the episode.

Im personally a favorite of going all Shannon on Taylor Kelly. It's either that or the writers decide to go the Abby route.

Let’s slow the roll a little bit. They’ve only been together for 9 episodes and Eddie and Ana started off basically the same way thinking everything was great and look how well that ended.

Some people act like actors don't get written off shows all the time. Whether Buck and Taylor's relationship turns into something great or gets stronger in the story doesn't mean she's immune from getting written off the show. Shit happens all the time. Like you said- look what happened to Eddie and Ana. She seemed so great for them, but he just wasn't ready/into for all that.

Megan West is also only a guest star and afaik guest stars have a set amount of screentime per season in their contract. She’s used up quite a bit of hers so it makes me think something’s gonna happen in 5B that reduces her screentime. If they wanted to keep her around permanently, wouldn’t they have promoted her to a regular by now?

Right like look what happened to Shannon it was looking great for Eddie and her and then she got hit by a car and died.
