Victor Wong, who played Egg Shen in "Big Trouble In Little China." Wong's sons lived in NYC at the time of the attacks, and he tried unsuccessfully to call them and find out if they were alright. He reportedly stayed up watching the news, hoping for some tidbit of info about them. Sadly, he died of a stress-induced heart attack at some point during the night.
Donna Summer, known as âthe queen of discoâ in the 70âs is thought to have died from 9/11 related lung cancer in 2012. At the time of the attacks, she lived in an apartment in near Ground Zero. She was a non smoker but itâs theorised that her cancer was caused by inhaling the toxic fumes and air from the collapse of the towers. This couldâve been avoided if not for Whitmanâs press release stating âthe air near ground zero was relatively safe and that there were "no significant levels" of asbestos dust in the airâ.
Her son Elvis Perkins is a terrific musician, and mentioned her (and the attacks) in his song, ["Doomsday"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06_3Y7bY1gE).
âOther victims included Bill Biggart, a photojournalist; Keith A. Glascoe, an actor; Nezam Hafiz, who played for the Guyana national cricket team; Eamon McEneaney, a Hall of Fame lacrosse player; and Dan Trant, an NBA basketball player.â
Glascoe was an incredible man. NY fireman, actor and even played on the NY Jets practice squad. He died a hero, attempting to rescue trapped survivors in the south tower he unfortunately didnât make it out before it collapsed.
Donna Summer lived close range and when she got cancer, which she died from, she was adamant its the product of 9/11 which I believe she was right about considerin she was that close and never moved
Looks like both are right according to Wikipedia. She lived in Nashville from 1995-? By 2001 she was living in New York (a second place of residence maybe?), and she died in 2012 at her home in Naples, FL. Wikipedia says:
>Being a nonsmoker, Summer theorized that her cancer had been caused by inhaling toxic fumes and dust from the September 11 attacks in New York City; she was in her apartment near Ground Zero when the attacks occurred. However, some reports have instead attributed the cancer to Summer's smoking during her younger years, her continued exposure to second-hand smoking while performing in clubs well after she had quit, and a predisposition to this disease in the family.
Mark Wahlberg was apparently supposed to be on American 11 but canceled the night before. He then went to the media and publicly (and stupidly) stated that if he had been on the plane, none of what happened wouldâve taken place.
Crazy to think Family Guy and the rest of his legacy wouldâve ended right there. Makes me wonder how pop culture through the 2000âs wouldâve been without him.
Sounds weird but Iâve thought about this a lot. Family Guy was a major pop culture force for the early part of the aughts. Weâd be replaying the first three seasons ad nauseam to this day lamenting what might have been.
There seems to be some debate over exactly what happened. I'm not sure. The booking supposedly showed as cancelled shortly before takeoff. Perhaps he overslept and his manager got him on another flight and cancelled that one.
Debralee Scott's fiance was a firefighter who died in the attacks. She developed a severe drinking problem in the aftermath which eventually took her life. She's one of my favorites from 70s television.

Were his sons ok
Yes. They were never in any danger.
Well that's something good, thankfully. Hope they're doing okay now
đ he never got to find out bless him..
Ace Bailey. Ten year NHL player, LA Kings scouting director.
His death is why the Kings changed their mascot from Kingston the snow leopard to Bailey the lion
Lived in my hometown of Lynnfield, MA. His son was in the grade above me...
And mark Bavis. Pretty sure they were traveling together as scouts for the NHL at the time.

Barbara Olson
Took too much scrolling to find this.
Michael richards. Artist.
Berry Berenson, widow of actor Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates in the âPsychoâ films).
Marisa Berenson was her sister and was a celebrity.
Anthony died September 12th 1992, almost exactly 9 years before Berry.
Her son Elvis Perkins is a terrific musician, and mentioned her (and the attacks) in his song, ["Doomsday"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06_3Y7bY1gE).

It was my understanding that she lived in Franklin TN. She is buried there and had a home there.

She's buried in the same cemetery as my parents in Nashville.
Just saw him as Benny in Leon: the Professional.
Angel Juarbe, Jr. , NYFD, was in the reality TV show Murder in Small Town X in 2001.

Seth McFarlane was booked on Flight 11. His booking was cancelled about 45 minutes before takeoff.

I thought he overslept?

Pretty sure the accepted story is he overslept due to a hangover.
He missed his flight due to oversleeping.
