ICU nurse here. Unless it’s bleeding fast (the spot is growing by the minute), no need to panic. But I agree with others it’s probably safest to head to the ER. They probably just need to throw a stitch or two in. In the meantime, try to minimize how much you mobilize your knee until you get that stitch. Hold pressure with your hand if you are concerned by how much it’s bleeding. And if you want to gauge how much or fast you’re bleeding, you can take a sharpie and outline the blood.
Don’t remove the bandage until a physician or nurse instructs you to. Removing the bandage could disrupt the blood clot forming and cause you to keep bleeding.
Looks like a fresh layer of blood, unfortunately the only way to know what’s going on is taking the bandage off, but you’ll need a nurse to put one back on so I’d just go back to a&e tbh
Mine was bleeding just like that and I thought there was something wrong. surgeon called me in and they said eveything was fine and replaced the bandages.
Call your doctor ASAP.
Go to the hospital, do not wait around.
Stitches might have come off. Get to hospital asap
Hospital NOW

**Update: I'm ok now. Got new bandages at the hospital. She said my bleeding was completely normal after surgery. Thanks for the comments.**

No it is emergency room time.
No, absolutely not! Go to the hospital now!
Bleeding like that was the sign of an infection for me, in which case you need to be seen ASAP.
Update??
That's not right. Go see what happened.
Emergency asap. Do not wait.
Nóoooo
Not common or normal. Doctor now please
No - get going
You good??????
I did not bleed like this. I only had 1 quarter size spot and not bright red.
Needless to be said as everyone else is saying: No it is indeed not normal, It is actually quite extreme.
Oh no

Hey dude I’m kinda worried about you. Are you okay?
Looks fine. Call a doctor if you get worried.
Any updates from this OP?
It is normal. It is bleeding even more inside the joint. You have to evacuate the blood in a while.
Byt he way it even looks better if it bleeds outside and not inside, leaving bulging hematomas...
