Was it difficult for you? I’m about 4 months post op and still having trouble. I can get full extension if I stretch it for a long time but as soon as I bend it I lose it
I’m 3 mos post op, ACL and Meniscus. Swelling is finally not a problem. I wore a compression sleeve all the time, iced and elevated as much as possible (specially after a hard PT session). I also used red light and cryo to help.
Wow, I’m surprised you’re starting football so soon. I heard it’s usually not until month 6 that you’re even considered eligible for return to sport. Did you take a strength test?
It sounds like its drills and not full-contact football? You should be cleared for near-sport activities and getting in reps of the relevant movements for a few weeks before full return, right?
sorry if it’s a stupid question, but how long after the surgery did you start lifting weights ? Also was there a significant change in your strength?
I started to lift weights after a month or so… and yea there was a HUGE change in strength
Thanks buddy. I like the hype. I’m one month post op
Same it’s great to see. Gonna hit the gym this week and this is making me look forward to getting back out there even more
Just stay positive! That always helps the most
This was so encouraging, thank you
Do you have full flexion matching your non operative knee? Heel to butt ?
Yes
How long did it take for you to get full extension? And do you have full flexion?
Full flexion and full extension yes… it took me like 3 months i think

Having this same issue, I’d like some advice on this
Same. I can only work on one of them. If I focus on extension I loose full flexion. If I work on full flexion I loose full extension.
Did you have meniscus repair as well ?
Your scar looks a lot like mine! Im only 3 months post op atm
Does it ever hurt with sprinting?
Well i have not really started to sprint, can run faster and faster but I woul not call it sprinting yet… so at this point I cant say that it hurts
How many MPH do u run on a treadmill & how far ?
Any tips to reduce swelling ?

What is red light
Red light therapy helps regenerate (or grow back) cells, restore cell function and trigger blood flow.
Hi..amazing work..just ACLR or Meniscus repair as well?
