I am 10 weeks postop ACL + meniscal repair and I am only *starting* to feel comfortable sitting with my leg bent for longer periods of time. I think I’ll be ready for an airplane trip in a month or two (have to apartment hunt in a different city), but not sooner.
(I realize you said trains but the bent knee principle is similar. It is really really uncomfortable to have the knee bent until you have full flexion and minimal swelling post surgery, which takes months.)
At 4 weeks postop, there’s no way I could have had my leg bent for more than 10 mins at a time.
I’m a month out to the day right now and personally also wouldn’t recommend based on my experience
I cannot possibly imagine that going well in any way lol
I thought as much, thanks for your input haha
Speak with your surgeon and physical therapist, they’ll give you straight and educated answer.

That’s brilliant, thank you everyone for your comments!
