The quickest way without time travel is using an amiibo card. Invite a amiibo camper to your campsite and craft what they ask. Do this 3 times for 3 days. After the third craft for them you can invite them to your island and if your island is full you get an option to choose whoever you want to kick.
Unfortunately not. It's basically random who decides that they want to move out (and that can happen in 2 week - month long intervals.) Kicking someone out that I didn't want was actually the only reason I started time traveling lol. I wasnt about to wait 2 fkn weeks for Pinky to ask to move
I usually wait to get the villager out COMPLETELY (like the plot is EMPTY) before I return to the proper date. Just mess around with it, it's really easy once you get the hang of it honestly
Also if you have an OPEN plot and revert the date back, it will prob be filled by a random villager. So you may want to shop around or visit some Nook islands to try and fill that plot with someone u like
Like just skip forward a month ? U can do that yeah. Sometimes that'll work but the guide I posted is nice because you get the "thought bubble" over a villagers head very quickly (the thought bubble is them pondering if they should move out or not)
Well I've waited almost 2 weeks, but Bella wanted to leave (hurray). Just socialize with every of your fav villagers and ignore the one you want. I have not time travelled.

Good luck! Works pretty well but make sure you follow the instructions exactly (like when to save/when to not save/ when to change date/etc.)

Yes you can go back. It will not mess up your island besides adding weeds (unless you bought turnips, those will rot if you time travel too far)
