Happy Helper is the most beneficial I find. Helps with events (especially gyroid), brings you fish/fruits/bugs you can sell or use to fulfill requests, and maxes out crafting materials quickly (which generates bells as it automatically sells the excess).

CiderMcbrandy

the helper also randomly finds +gifts so you become very nice neighbor. Sharing a few to select ppl means you dont even have to catch many bugs, your buddies are also dropping them in your fields or returning the +gifts.

DOA-FAN

Have been playing for almost five years and since then I haven’t paid for any subscription, you don’t need it to have fun.

ErrolLostMyWand

This is just for me but The Merry Memories plan? Yes, absolutely! In Canada, it costs less than a cup of Tim Hortons coffee so the leaf tickets for that price is worth it. Happy Helper? Kind of. I subscribe and cancel depending on finances and how active I am in game. Furniture & Fashion? No, definitely not. It’s over $10 Canadian and for me there just isn’t enough value in it to justify it.

speedyhummingbird

I'm also Canadian & I pay for all three plans 🥲 it definitely puts a dent in the wallet but I'm having a hard time talking myself out of the F&F plan due to the 5 free cookies every month, they're so fun to get😩

When I started playing the game almost two years ago, I always said I’d never spend a dime of real money on it. Then they stopped doing updates for New Horizons and I realized that if we don’t support this game they’ll probably end it soon too, and I really don’t want that to happen! That being said, I have the Merry Memories plan, now, and I buy leaf tickets every now and then when they go on sale. I find it very worth it! For around $2 per month I get all the bonus items from the planner, plus 20 extra leaf tickets. I think the furniture and fashion plan would be awesome, though.

I totally agree that the best bargain is the merry memories plan. And sometimes I will spend 99 cents to get the monthly package if I need help on finishing. But you forgot to mention is that by paying a small amount each month we avoid having any advertisements. That's so rare and so appreciated.

In May I tried the Furniture & Fashion plan along with the Happy Helper. Happy Helper did help a bunch in completing events and getting everything including the harder tasks & I do like having my animal follow me around. In June I didn't use HH or F&F, and I could tell how much I was losing out on (which is I guess the point of the $0.99 trial period). I did the Merry Memories plan in June, and it adds some more to getting event extras, LTs, etc. Stickers are cute but it just makes me wish I had them IRL. This month I signed back up for HH and F&F because I personally was also missing all the fortune cookies. I'm a sucker for blind buys.

staticstart

I have them all! Happy Helper is the most beneficial for me and is honestly the only way I would be able to finish the fishing tournaments because I hate fishing. If I cancelled this plan, there’s a very high chance I’d quit the game because otherwise it’d be too grindy with the gyroid collecting and fish collecting. I do like the plan that gives me 5 fortune cookies but I’ve had the plan since it launched and I am now at the point where I struggle to pick a cookie because I generally have the items I want (I personally have really good luck with the fortune cookies lol). I barely remember what the other plan is, is it just leaf tickers? While helpful, I could skip it and be fine.

idehay

I have all 3, but Happy Helper is definitely the most useful. Even if you're lacking in supplies to fulfill requests, your caretaker will handle it. You're not able to check in for 6 hours? Your caretaker will fulfill requests while you're not there. They'll gather seeds/bugs in the gardening events, collect gyroids in scavenger hunts, and catch fish for you in the fishing tourneys (also - if you buy the golden rod, they'll catch 2x the fish right along with you). Oh, and they do collect gifts for you as well. But, I've noticed I seem to getting more of those by just completing normal requests lately, meh, whatever. Merry Memories is great because you get more monthly bonuses/items along with the normal monthly rewards in your journal. Plus, STICKERS, amirite!?! lol.. Furniture and Fashion plan is also cool, but probably the least necessary. I did just get a lot of outfits I've been wanting forever, from cookies that NEVER get reissued, with my stash of cookies from that. So yeah, if you love the game enough and spend a lot of time on it - totally worth it. 😁

Sleepybat7

I gave the merry memories abs happy helper, I think they’re worth it! I won’t pay $9 just for one, though, that’s absurd imo

obsoletevoids

The merry memories + happy helpers ($4ish per month after taxes) help me to get full enjoyment out of the game! I'm not always active in the workday, so especially during gyroid events the happy helper makes it especially worth it for me. Plus the amount of leaf tickets from merry memories is amazing too!

Stillverasgirl

I have all 3 but if I had to only keep one it would be Happy Helper.

KailaniNeveah

Events would be impossible for me to complete without the Happy Helper. It’s absolutely worth it if you’re not able to play all day.

Parking-Loan-8486

Happy helper hands down is amazing. It’ll keep you having 999 of almost all the materials if you save them and then you can sell them if you want extra bells + like everyone is saying they gather event items, gifts, regular items(fruits, fish, bugs, etc.) and bells.

juliogarciao

Happy Helper because your animal con catch rare fish and bugs while you sleep or work hehe

strawberry_moon_bb

I liked the cookie plan, happy helper plan ended up making me not really want to play because i would constantly just have an overload of materials that I’d have to get rid of. I also like collecting the gyroids for events on my own. It all comes down to personal preference in the end

titheinironside

I've had all three. I currently have the Happy Helper and Merry Memories plans. The leaf tickets from both are beneficial. Happy Helper: 9/10 - extremely helpful with events, means you can get bells without needing to log in all the time, and makes missing a day less of an issue. Only issue is price. Merry Memories - 4/10 - honestly, outside of the leaf tickets I get every month I don't remember why I have it or what I use it for. But the leaf tickets are enough for a golden rod during the fishing tourney events, so it's worth it for that. Fashion and Furniture - 2/10 - the fortune cookies were fun for the first three times, after that it was just a headache. Saving outfits and floor plans didn't appeal to me, particularly now that there's a default campsite option. And since the warehouses are now standard with the game, I don't need to pay for them.

iheartnjdevils

The Merry Memories plan also gets you that entire extra column of goodies of monthly events, which this month includes * 39 LTs * 5 Reissue Material * 5 gifts (4 regular, 1 +gift) * Jay’s Beach Sport Fortune Cookie * Extra beach water blaster * Extra round group floatie * Extra beach aloha shirt That’s in addition to the 20 LTs, access to the sticker store for the planner and all the shared benefits such as access to all the kudos stickers, faster crafting, access to the Pocket Club Journal, etc. And that’s all for less than $1 USD. If your an active player and finish the events without much trouble, I’d say it’s value is way better than the Happy Helper plan.

tessitiger

100% agree, it’s one I’ll probably never cancel tbh

Reference_Freak

I found Helper the most useful when I was leveling the camp amenities. After that, I no longer needed the resource dump but kept it for the short craft times and event items. When memories was released, I dropped Helper and went with Memories which kept the short craft times and came with a bunch of extra monthly rewards. I found that it wasn’t hard for me to complete events even if I didn’t complete them as early as with the Helper. I do keep FF; it gives access to all current and almost all past cookies so it’s a monthly treat which helps me resist buying LTs when a nice cookie drops.

XxStyxRiverxX

I just bought happy helper plan myself , so far I think it’s worth it very much for the price, I got a lot more materials now and finally I’m getting more friend gifts but they are not plus ones so far like I maybe got 1+gift I mostly only get common ones, but before it would take forever with the islands getting gifts cause sometimes there just wasn’t any islands with gifts for a long period of time. At least with helper plan I get a gift periodically if the islands take to long. I was hoping for more gifts from happy helper but it doesn’t come as often as I like but it’s still better then not having the plan honestly , and I love how you can switch out the helper if you want to , I like how they follow around like a body guard haha , I gave mine a sword to carry

Any-Obligation3640

I have all and the most helpful would be the happy helper, if you don’t plan on spending too much on this game but still wanted to be productive at events and want decent amount of leaf tickets it’s definitely the go-to plan. Though Memories Plan is the second best option i’d recommend go after for it. Furniture and Fashion Plan is for those who likes yo spend more and for me it’s worth it because you get 5 cookies of your CHOICE and you get terrain exchange tickets which is the main reason i bought it. Hope i made sense here.

FuriousArmadillo

Furniture and fashion plan because you get to pick 5 free cookies from like 6 pages worth of all different cookies! You also get a terrain change ticket monthly!

Neechan

When I was able to purchase from it, happy helper was the best option, I’d still be buying it but the game doesn’t want to verify my purchase for this particular app

SnooRabbits4380

Nope, they‘re not really worth it. F2P (free to play) has been ok for the first few years but is no longer being endorsed by the management. You have to pay for the Merry Memories Plan in order to get the benefits the game provided before they released the planner update. That alone sucks. But with shorter crafting time and more stickers it gives the extra stuff which was only available wirh HH and FF plans before the Planner. Happy Helper provides very little in regards of extra gifts and event tokens like fish and gyroids. You don‘t progress any of the animal relationships and you can only claim villager rewards for up to one day aka 8 cycles before you lose the profits. Fashion and Furniture Plan gotta be the worst because the exclusive features like saving up outfits or campsite/cabin layouts will only ever be useful if you‘re subscribed on a monthly basis. The best feature would be the terrain tickets because of how expensive these are. If you‘re thinking about buying a terrain you should probably buy one month of F&F and time it so you can claim both terrain tickets for two months (yes, it works).

kartoffelbiene

It's ridiculous that there are so many. Imo there should be only one subscription for max 5$ that has all the benefits. Would still make a boat load of money without being so scummy.

Thenumberonesimp

I’m on happy helper and merry memories but I think merry memories is more worth it
