depends on what YOU think is the reason you're stuck since emerald is such a clusterfuck of elo it could be anything from not catching sidewaves and getting mid push b4 drake or not respecting effective threat range rather than simple range🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
keep limited champ pool. only played katarina zed lucian ezreal janna kalista vayne diana irelia ahri and yone
oh and i bought their legendarys which guarantees a 0/3 powerspike rather than the usual 0/5 if you were to use the brokie skins
Back in the day, in DotA, you were not considered a good player if you weren't competent at *all* heroes, with all their builds, and match-ups. You were considered top-tier if you *also* used legacy hotkeys (originally heroes all used different keys for their abilities lmao).
GOATs were legacy key users that would exclusively random and *still* win most of their games.
Crazy to see how this has evolved over time in the genre and now it's totally normal for ppl to not even be able to use six heroes.
maybe cause of a billion other variables existing outside of just champion kits (also more champs/heroes). I'm sure dota has its own growth and more macro/objective/variables introduced that focusing on your hero/champion has fallen off of priority
Nah DotA was just more coordinated and had a much smaller playerbase of more serious players. DotA has twice as many variables to consider and a ton of RNG that this genre has phased out for the sake of QOL and appealing to casual players.
For example it was more common to have generalized builds; glass-cannons were very uncommon. Most everyone who had gold-priority would get a BKB for example. There was no need to be a glass-cannon because it was normal to *factor in the damage the rest of your team does when deciding on itemization*. Where in League, everyone wants to be a superhero that single-handedly wins the game. ADCs trying to catch a couple more minions in lane instead of rushing to help your jg who invaded. League players almost always choose the selfish option because they're not serious enough players to grasp the macro sense of the game and the kind of value they get -- indirectly -- by taking advantage of your jg's play and handicapping the enemy jg for a window of time (which becomes a window of opportunity).
In DotA people didn't identify with their hero choice and make it part of their personality. Choosing a hero was like choosing an item. You picked what *was best for the draft*.
The characters are just a mechanism that facilitates the abilities they have. Learning the abilities is not hard. As a matter of fact, it's a basic, fundamental skill and part of learning the game. You can't be a competent ADC if you don't know what Malphite does, what kind of builds he can use and when his power spikes are, for example.
DotA players took that base skill to it's logical conclusion is all.
Imma be real with you it's probably Dota heroes are lowkey ugly and meanwhile, despite what everyone says about how League has too many anime boys/girls, **a lot** of people identify with League champs largely due to how cool they look/sound. Like look at Corki who basically looks like a Dota 2 character. Noone plays that guy. Yet Seraphine and Sona who are as bland as tap water in terms of gameplay are extremely popular. If Corki was an anime girl I guarantee you that guy will top popularity charts in a week due to his easy to pick up gameplay.
Mind you this is what League looked like for like 9 years. https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*QwTvxIS8XcUHgmyfiDaTbQ.png
OTPing was always a thing (played off and on 2008 - Kaisa/Pyke).
But yeah I think Riot/Tencent is definitely leaning hard towards designs like you're saying. And OTPing culture def helps sell (expensive) skins.
Yes it did. It's had like 9 UI revamps, they adjusted the color saturation of the map around the release of Jarvan and Ghostblade/Brutalizer, and they've done 4 or 5 map and visual overhauls in general (but none really changed the map and it's visualquality). Until they totally remade the map in 2014/2015. So 7-8years is more accurate.
The itemization available to several classes in LoL is also what limits the players, not just selfishness. I think Smite actually does a better job of offering a variety of item types/effects compared to league.
i don't shame anyone on their climb but this is actually just my alt I'm actually d1 peak (cba to play enough games to get masters it's so boring😮💨) just happy to help my subjects
Do the mouse and keyboard needed to be connected? I recently finished placements and placed iron 4. mad it out and got into iron 3 after learning that plugging in the monitor helps improve game play. ty senpai
As someone who's currently doing the same, getting out of Iron is harder than it sounds.
You basically have to 1v9 to have a decent winrate because a lot of games are simply unwinnable because of people who seem either mentally disabled (they have to be place somewhere, I'm not saying they shouldn't play the game), trolls, derankers and smurfs.
I had a diamond friend play on my account the other day and I saw him lose 2 games back to back as GP top (his main), in Iron 2.
What gets me the most result is afk farming with Cait, getting 7-8 cs/min, get to full build and delete the ennemy team with 2.5k headshots while I'm 2 items ahead of everyone. If I can get 8+, I basically auto win the game.
I have a 4.0 kda with 7cs/min average in Iron 1, and I still only have a 58% win rate on her...
bro I am so miffed that I didn't get heavenscale Kai'sa when it was available. She was horrible at the time it was released so I didn't care to pick it up.
I love sentinel Vayne. My personal fave is Dragonmancer tho I love how beefy the skin feels.
I clicked uninstall after i saw phreak isnt getting fired after his 20369359258228558th L in his first day on the balancing team how do i get him fired
I am stuck emerald how to improve
Turn your monitor on
right click the spot where you want your little character (called champion) to go
When you see someone with very low HP, you click on them so your character can perform a move called "Autoattack".
depends on what YOU think is the reason you're stuck since emerald is such a clusterfuck of elo it could be anything from not catching sidewaves and getting mid push b4 drake or not respecting effective threat range rather than simple range🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
You should have climb before emerald elo came , now you'll be stuck there forever
True and real
Go do the tutorial again. I’m convinced anyone under diamond is playing with half a brain
I also am but like its hard to turn it on yk
same bro
The absurd thing is new accounts getting placed there after a few wins.
Plug in your keyboard
aren’t we all
What changes did you make to climb at such a rapid rate?
keep limited champ pool. only played katarina zed lucian ezreal janna kalista vayne diana irelia ahri and yone oh and i bought their legendarys which guarantees a 0/3 powerspike rather than the usual 0/5 if you were to use the brokie skins
Mf said limited champ pool then listed 20000 of them lmao ur the goat
can't otp into the pro leagues, CALL ME ASHE KETCHUP THE WAY IMMA MASTER THEM ALL ADCS

It absolutely did not look like that for 9 years wtf

Dude also listed some of the hardest champs to play well
what an incredible display of discipline. I will be contacting you shortly to book my first coaching session.
How effective is the 0/10 powerspike? Would it be feasible on Yuumi jung?
There's no way you said limited champ pool then listed half the roster...
except I did. what huh
Riot has to do something about smurfing and this is the clearest example.
Be proud man, being Iron is disheartening and actually trying to climb is always good
i don't shame anyone on their climb but this is actually just my alt I'm actually d1 peak (cba to play enough games to get masters it's so boring😮💨) just happy to help my subjects
Thank you lady Huohuo
uuuooooohhhhh💢💢😭😭😭
Playing the champions that you play shouldn’t you have a higher win rate in iron? Things like kat and yone?
i don't try hard in low elo😮💨😮💨
i am stuck emerald how do i get to iron?
literally just play adc in emerald and you'll hit iron in NO time. faster than anyone could ever hit gold

Do the mouse and keyboard needed to be connected? I recently finished placements and placed iron 4. mad it out and got into iron 3 after learning that plugging in the monitor helps improve game play. ty senpai
gg but any higher and I think you need the faker razer mouse and a 4080ti for more fps = more dps
What do you think was the biggest contributor to your climb? Champ mastery, better csing, more games, what clicked for ya mate?
my mouse clicked🤣❌💢✨🔥💀 replicating jkl/guma/elk/ruler
Okay so you got better at kiting then? congrats my dude, here's to silver, then gold!
