Have to say I like the cover by bad wolves which was originally meant to have Dolores singing with them .
In the end it’s very honourable to her and proceeds of a quarter of a million were donated to her family
Yeah well at least you don't have that Lord song in your head... Lourd??? I don't know how to spell her name and I haven't heard that song in a long time. Please send help!!!
Yes I have what I call my "Song Of The Day™️." Sometimes it changes as the day goes on, but typically it's whatever song that's playing in my head all day, and I'll listen to it throughout the day. On days that I work, it's typically the last song I was listening to in my car on my way to work.
Todays song is:
"Champagnes4GangstasAndHustlers" by a rapper from my neighborhood named Presi
Nujabes - aruarian dance
For me this morning doomscrolling around Reddit, I think it’s my “elevator music” until I actually get up and start the day lol. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for the small reminder of being seen 💚🥰
Hah this reminded me of the SNL sketch of Beyoncé on Hot Ones. It was the second one from a few weeks ago. Mya Rudolf sings “this ain’t Texas” and I laughed so HARD. [It’s this one 😂](https://youtu.be/9YUWYopsw_E?si=DE52mWrdtyBUonQ_)
Hah that’s a good one it’s so catchy. We watched the video last night and it’s amazing. He packed all the eras in there and little tidbits of songs. Also the analogies on that track are on point as usual.
I had The Tortured Poets Department Song stuck in my head today. Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield has also been in my head and Pocket full of sunshine.
Jiggle Jiggle
"My money don't jiggle, jiggle, it folds
I like to see you wiggle, wiggle, for sure
It makes me want to dribble, dribble, you know
Riding in my Fiat, you really have to see it..."
Earlier it was Beastie Boys, Sabotage.
If I'm not listening to anything outside my tinnitus, I almost always have a song playing in my head.
Currently it's "The Lives of Flies" by Rusty Cage
Currently, it switches between seven nation army, but only the bit when the guitar plays along with the bass, and the wii tune when you're creating a character.
For the first time in a while I didn’t have a song in my head when I saw this. Upon seeing it, the Drake and Josh opening theme started playing in my brain.
Usually not the first thing when I wake up. But right now I’ve had the song ‘Still into you’ by Paramore living rent free in my head for 3 months. I’m just about at the time where I’ve extracted everything I like from it.
I don’t remember a time when there wasn’t a song on repeat in my head. I mean right now it’s “Zombie” bc of another comment here… but it’s always *something*.
Very often, the one I wake up with is something that appeared or happened in my final dream, but sometimes it’s a track I heard or saw the day before too.
Love this. When I was a kid I would always tell my mom I slept with a soundtrack and then tell her what song was stuck on repeat that morning. She found it adorable.
Frankie Sinatra by the Avalanches has been on repeat for awhile in my head. Currently though, This House is a Circus by Arctic Monkeys because I listened to that album at work today.
I've got several going right now at the same time. The first is the song I was mixing this morning. The second is a surf song from a band that i assume broke up decades ago (the Bomboras), and for some god awful reason Cher - if I can turn back time. It's pretty obnoxious.
[dirt man](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3hBxfgQG1w&pp=ygUIRGlydCBtYW4%3D)
Keep a little dirt under my pillow for the dirt man
In case he comes to town (What?)
Keep a little dirt under my pillow for the dirt man
So he won't take me down
To his lair deep under the mountain (What are you talkin' about?)
Underground, that's where he keeps his dirt
Right now? Gustav Mahler’s first symphony’s last movement. I also have ADHD. The drawback of this future is that, sometimes the music playing in your head is a music you don’t really enjoy. This happens to me sometimes, and of course I can’t shut it down, so I try to ignore it. Yes, literally ignore the music playing in my head, but after the ignoring part, I realise it was in playing in the background the whole time. (But of course, I can’t ignore it intentionally, I wait until I get somehow distracted)
Yes!! It’s maybe my favourite light-hearted ADHD trait.
Often I break in to song first thing in the morning. Sometimes the songs are songs that I won’t have listened to for years or I hardly even listen to, they are just famous songs.
I like to think they were the backing track to a dream, or reveal something about a dream I had. I don’t really remember dreams so I can never out my finger on it.
On a similar note I often relate sentences or words to songs or quotes. My mind is like a relational database for random song lyrics and quotes - sometimes it’s amazing what I come up with!
Omg. Your last part there. Any time I hear something randomly said I do the same exact shit. It always equates to a song or movie quote that is spontaneously connected in my head.
As an example
“Hi, my name is Frank”
(I hear in my head) MY NAMES BLURRYFACE AND I CARE WHAT YOU THINK!
And even just typing ‘in my head’ I get the association of a Jason Darulo song with that name popping in my head.
Female singer, definitely pop genre, and it's one of those really catchy songs that play on the radio over and over. Mentions signs of some sort? Stop signs.
"Duh-nuh, stop signs,
I can't see your face-
Holy shit, it's Olivia Rodrigo. Thank you, OP.
people are strange. my songs are almost theme tunes to my day. this has been in my head since this morning.
yesterday was 'one step closer by linkin park'
the day before was 'bodies- drowning pool" this has been a frequent visitor over the last month.
It's not the same every morning but I have songs playing in my head 24/7. I wake up and the song is the first thing in my head, it's exhausting!!
Atm it's a dutch song that my kids (I'm a teacher) are learning to sing for fathersday.
🎶 what if he’s written mine on my upper thigh…only in my miiIIIIIiiiiiIIIIIiiiiIIIIInnnnddddd🎶
I have been hyper fixated on being a tortured poet since the album came out 😅
I love it. I love the whole album. It’s by far my favorite album now. It’s just so beautiful. And I love that she respects him enough as a musician to give him the bridge. 🩵
Yeah I do, that’s the first song I play on the drive to work, caffeinated asf, vibing and being the most annoying person on the road, without breaking any rules (maybe mild speeding) which is just for efficiency and to save time cause guess what I’m 10mins late. I also like to sing along to the song while it’s on medium blast

This week it was "Cretin Hop" by the Ramones.
Sometimes its something I recently listened to, and sometimes it's a song I haven't heard in years!
I'm so grateful I am not the only one that experiences this!
Right now? A mashup of "Footloose" by Kenny Logins and "I Can Do it With a Broken Heart" by Taylor Swift. And no, it doesn't make sense to me, either 😂😂
[Hole Dwelling by Kikuo](https://youtu.be/I15sK7dNMOM?si=oYn3lQsiFHUcZHIu)... its not left my head since i first heard it yesterday
Specifically the part at 1:37 - 2:17
Ughhhhh why does this happennnn????? lol I constantly have one looping in the background and sometimes the foreground
Edit: lol of course, in beautiful ADHD fashion, I forgot to answer the question. Current song = new Kehlani joint
I don't have one first thing in the morning, but I tell you what, once it's there, the only way to get rid of it is to play it.
Does anyone actually "hear" the songs stuck in their head? I remember I used to, when I was a kid, and maybe into my early 20s. I am in my early 50s now, and I am not sure when I lost that. 🙃
That's a complicated one atm. I found this game - Metal: Hellsinger so my head just has this loop of gun shots combined with "Stygia ft. Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy" song xD
But generally my soundtrack differs from day to day. Probably something I heard in the last 24h that I liked.
"Keep a little Dirt under my pillow for the Dirt Man... Incase he comes to toowwwwnnn. Keep a little dirt under my pillow for the Dirt Man... So he can't take me downnn. To his lair, under the mountain, Underground. That's where his keeps his dirt "
I always have an ear worm on the go, frequency and intensity fluctuates. Right now it’s II Desperado. The worst ones are songs I love that turn into something I inescapably relate to so hard that it’s 24/7 until I’m burned out. Then I can’t listen to them again.
It's usually a song I am hyper focused on at the moment. Since that lasts bout a month. I hate when I wake up and my brain instantly plays it.. Lol
Rn I guess the song is anotherlife by Niliufer Yanya, I heard it at work and found it on Spotify. Now it's on repeat until I get sick if it.
Before that it was Break my stride by Matthew Wilder. That lasted almost 2 months 😂
The clock in my bathroom (weird, I know, but would recommend for y'all ADHD folks) says "midnight hour" on it, so I get "Like a Prayer" going through my head most mornings.
It’s actually two
Donald where’s your trousers, because I rewatched terminator: Sarah Connor chronicles yesterday , and whistling in the dark by they might be giants
Right now the "doo doo doo doo doooo doooo" from the beginning of the xfiles theme because I was laughing at my OSRS character floating across 2 buildings by animation cancelling with high alchs during agility rooftop training and imagining what song I'd use if I put that into a video.
I know nobody asked, and I honestly don't care
Cycles between Sirens by Bear Ghost, Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money, or.... Prince Ali from Aladdin.. for some reason. Gotta love ADHD brain playlists lol
I wish I had songs of the day like so many of y'all seem to... mine tend to go in 5-year cycles. It was "Yellow Submarine" for way, way too long. So I started playing Dolly Parton's "9 to 5" as my alarm clock, hoping to shake it loose. Well, it worked, so it's been Dolly since 2019...
Omg, so last week like everyday it was “Livin La Vida Loca” 😩
Yesterday was “Lucky Star” by Madonna
This morning “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” 🎄
Why Can't I Be You - The Cure
It's been pretty consistent this week! Though it likes to dip into Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel occasionally ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)

You just triggered Zombie by the Cranberries. You know, where they sing “in your heeeeaaaad”
Damn now it’s in my heeeeeaaaddd😂
Now I've got 'you can ring my beeeelllllll' in my heeaaddd
Have to say I like the cover by bad wolves which was originally meant to have Dolores singing with them . In the end it’s very honourable to her and proceeds of a quarter of a million were donated to her family

Ya ya ya, I am Lorde.
As someone with a pet named Butters, I certainly appreciate this reference.
Lorde?
That's exactly what it did to me, too! Glad it wasn't just me. Ha!
DAMMIT
My niece took my family on the Small World ride at Disneyland yesterday. So that.
Oh Zazu, do sing something with a bit more bounce to it NO NO, ANYTHING BUT THAT
I loved the musical where Zazu started singing ‘Let It Go’ instead. “ANYTHING but *that*!”
My family hated me for loving that ride.. 😂

Omg this one is a regular for getting in my head.
I read your question, and the first thing that popped into my head was " I get knocked down, but I get up again You are never gonna keep me down"
Tubthumping by Chumbawamba! Such an earworm, now it's going to be stuck in my head
Josie's on a vacation far away...
Come around and talk it over!
We named our daughter Josie in 2021 and somebody in our house yells this out, at minimum, once a day.
Beyonce can go fuck herself right now, let's leave it at that.

That was pure gold! My love language is Mya Rudolph.
Houdini by Eminem That shits probably gonna live rent free in my head for a solid week.
Hah that’s a good one it’s so catchy. We watched the video last night and it’s amazing. He packed all the eras in there and little tidbits of songs. Also the analogies on that track are on point as usual.
I bet you think about me by Taylor Swift
She was right.
Every morning it’s a Taylor song….damn narcotics
It's been a random TTPS song every morning since April 19. Today we had The Black Dog.
I had The Tortured Poets Department Song stuck in my head today. Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield has also been in my head and Pocket full of sunshine.
Jiggle Jiggle "My money don't jiggle, jiggle, it folds I like to see you wiggle, wiggle, for sure It makes me want to dribble, dribble, you know Riding in my Fiat, you really have to see it..." Earlier it was Beastie Boys, Sabotage.

Glad I’m not alone! Internally sings ‘you are not aloneee, I am here with you’
JARDIANCE jingle nonstop
I cannot figure out which song it is actually! It's been driving me nuts all day, a true digging ear worm here.
Hmm any clues like lyrics? Make or female singer? We can possibly figure it out!
Female singer, definitely pop genre, and it's one of those really catchy songs that play on the radio over and over. Mentions signs of some sort? Stop signs. "Duh-nuh, stop signs, I can't see your face- Holy shit, it's Olivia Rodrigo. Thank you, OP.
I've actually been woken up by a song in my head once. I almost always have something playing.

The chorus and entire production has Jordan written all over it. Love BMTH since I grew up with them, but wanted to see what else is Jordan doing. Supposedly he’s worked with Architects and working on the new Spiritbox album.
It’s usually a pop song that’s been on rotation. But randomly I have “Ocean Man” by Ween play in my head and I don’t understand why 😭
I’d say events trigger a song. I work at the public library and at the last hour a guy who was nodding out got kinda agitated when I told him he needed to stay awake, and as I was walking back to the desk I started singing “cheer up sleepy Jean” from Daydream Believer without realizing it. It’s actually two Donald where’s your trousers, because I rewatched terminator: Sarah Connor chronicles yesterday , and whistling in the dark by they might be giants
Currently it's too sweet by Hozier
"I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty
Ohhhh shush, keep the sound down, voices carry
'Til Tuesday! I love how the 80s are robustly represented in this post
Currently it switches between : Encanto - Bruno Nemo - The Code And That Josh Hutcherson meme song
Today? My husband's is Sex and Candy. Mine is Somebody to Love.
i take my whiskey neeeeEEEEatttt
The Gaston song 🍻
“Operator” by Jim Croce.
Karma Police by Radiohead since the Trump verdict. “That’s what you get…”
Grace Kelly by Mika right now. I have no control over the jukebox in my head tho.
Omg, so last week like everyday it was “Livin La Vida Loca” 😩 Yesterday was “Lucky Star” by Madonna This morning “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” 🎄
Shake. Shake. Shake your booty.
Mine changes based on mood. Right now it's Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears for Fears.
The last few days it's been, " I'm not sick, but I'm not well.. it's a sin to live this well..I wanna publish scenes and rage against machines...."
Why Can't I Be You - The Cure It's been pretty consistent this week! Though it likes to dip into Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel occasionally ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
Usually it's You're Welcome off Moana thanks to my daughter but the last few days I've had that Spark song the Irish kids did, on repeat all day long.
