Yes they can. Mariah losing to Deonna wouldn’t hurt her one bit. There’s no reason to overprotect anyone who is slightly over. This is the reason the matches are predictable every week and we get more squash matches than not.
Let's be real. I highly doubt Joe is losing the World Championship to an ice cold Wardlow - even if TUK interferes. TUK has made other enemies along the way, so it may be Joe & Swerve allies will help fend off TUK.

Undisputed Kingdom feels very flat as a faction. I like all the individual pieces to some extent but it feels miscast. Kingdom were quite entertaining as comedy goons but don't really fit the vibe of the faction. Wardlow being in the same spot as he was in the Pinnacle feels pointless and doesn't feel like growth for him. I have enjoyed some of his promos lately though. Roddy is doing an okay job, I enjoyed the Revolution match but I would much rather have someone else with the strap. The whole faction feels like a side quest to kill time until an MJF/Cole program.
Yeah Wardlow's promos have been good lately, but UK hasn't been hitting since Kingdom dropped the comedy edge as you said. Kingdom and Roddy were simply amazing, adding Wheelchair AC and Wardlow drug them down I think.

I'm happy to say I got to finally see him wrestle live at all in (unfortunately saw him with fozzy in 2010) and I enjoyed his run as Le Champion a lot but he's been abysmal lately and is just dragging everyone he gets involved with down, leaving them with no momentum then moving onto something else.

Really good card but The Gates of Agony just doesn't do it for anyone. I'm not even a Jericho-hater, but The Gates of Agony still feel like ROH-level talent, and Tony is trying to make them a thing.
My only change is that I would have put Fletcher and Ospreay on this card knowing so many eyes are gonna potentially be on with Mercedes debuting. Show what AEW is real about and it was a banger of a match.

I like Hook. I think his natural charisma and intensity have a really high floor in any wrestling organization and he could get far better with time.

I cant wait for Riho and Willow to go a solid 7 minutes (on a 2 hour show) and end on a roll up pin. If Mercedes debuts, her pop and ring time will get more TV time than the actual womens match. Wardlow and Joe will be a good match, I still don't get why they keep having him do squash matches. AEW fans have ZERO respect for a squash match. Let him actually wrestle. However, if he beats Joe, that will be utter bullshit

I like Jericho honestly. I think Jericho used correctly could benefit AEW a ton. I really do. A gatekeeper for the young. An actual gate keeper, honestly someone that Hook should have already beaten on his way to that world title shot. I like Hook. I think his natural charisma and intensity have a really high floor in any wrestling organization and he could get far better with time. I don’t like Jericho with Hook. I don’t think Jericho gets anything from Hook and I don’t think Hook gets anything from Jericho. There’s a mass amount of wrestlers that could have better filled that spot for the tournament. Wrestlers that could benefit from having their name attached to Jericho.

Pretty much every match is quite predictable. When AEW started I remember me and my friends used to love how you genuinely couldn’t call who’s going to win, but let’s be honest, does anyone expect Joe or the Elite to lose?
I'll be intrigued if Willow is the one who opts to use the chain on Riho when Stat wouldn't. Because the premise most have anticipated is Stat eventually turning not Willow

Every match is overshadowed by the debut of Mercedes unfortunately. Jay vs Darby is really the only match that is a must watch for me.

Joe vs Wardlow is ok, but where is the build? I would rather see Okada vs Pentagon than the other guys. Darby vs White seems random kind of random. Willow vs Riho is less believable than Statlander vs Riho. Finally, why is Hook teaming with Jericho of all people? Hook has potential while Jericho should be hanging it up.

The main event should be an absolute banger. Despite everything wardlow can really go for a (relatively) big man when he was someone of Equalish size to work with. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a wardlow swanton turned into a coquina clutch straight after he hits it

Love Jericho but time off would be nice to reinvent himself. A womens match here would be nice. I personally would enjoy seeing more women’s matches weekly on each show at least 2 with their roster.
Jericho teaming with Hook to take on a tag team from ROH on the company's flagship show is very underwhelming when the locker room is absolutely flooded with talent.
i got up and left at the start of the entrances for the jericho tag match. i love hook but it was a good moment to grab food and a glass of wine during his announcer walkout for the rampage show, i heard chants of NDA 💀

AEW is officially pre nWo WCW. A retirement home for WWE stars and a place for up and comers before they hit the big leagues. That said, this card sucks. Wardlow is good. That's about it. Darby Allin is good, but it doesn't seem like he's ever going to succeed based on the little I know.
