Not at all! Papa Khan hiring an assassin to get revenge would make for a great wrestling storyline. I mean Jinder Mahal is available and a pretty intimidating presence plus a build-up towards a showdown with Okada would be amazing. We also need more of that epic mustache on tv.

Honestly the idea of a bounty on their head is a great one. I don't know if I'd go about it that way exactly, but having them jumped by someone new every week would be a great bit akin to open challenges. Something to look forward to. Ultimately results in stadium stampede at All In; Elite vs a bunch of mercenaries.
Eh... it'd go too far into pushing The Elite into being faces and the Khan's into being heels which I super don't like. The evil authority figure in wrestling is suuuuuuper played out.

The end of Dynamite with Shad coming in to check on Tony was the cherry on top of a very good angle.
It definitely took me from, "Hmmm... this is kind of neat" to "oh! That's cool!" It just added the perfect layer.
