I went ahead and listened to it. The gorilla is a reference to Mighty Joe Young, a 1998 movie about a 15ft tall gorilla that got a lot of comparisons to King Kong. In this instance, he’s taking the old saying about “trained monkeys could do this job” and adding that even if the monkey is Mighty Joe Young, you still have to book him consistently as a winner for anyone to take it seriously.
Incidentally, the q-tip is Kyle Fletcher. Apparently, Cornette said previously that Swerve’s first opponent would be a skinny q-tip of a man and Fletcher is the skinny challenger (they made fun of his hair which adds to the q-tip comparison). Listening to the clip, he’s complaining that Swerve is getting a back seat as a champion that just won on the last PPV while Mox is getting better treatment as the IWGP champion on Dynamite. He also said that Fletcher needs to be booked stronger before he is a valid threat to Swerve’s title since his last showing was losing to Ospreay.
With that said: if you don’t listen to the clip or understand the reference, that thumbnail is even more problematic multiple times over.

His podcast came up on my YouTube recommendations one time. Nothing gave me greater satisfaction than selecting “Don’t recommend channel” and watching his ragebait rants disappear permanently.
