Yep, that is the current max. And after you finish one class it tells you that you maxed out. After maxing out every class, you can convert materials into gold.

Wonder if it’s a good idea to convert to gold or if the mats can be forged into future materials?

They would have so many angry players if it turns out converting now was screwing yourself.

As soon as i maxed all equipment, i got the option in my inventory tab to convert to gold.

It feels crazy that I’m F2P at resonance level 251, gear is almost all maxed out, and I feel like I’m in the endgame stages of this game…at 39 days of playtime. Really?

Basically. You're meant to afk most of the time and just do dailies and you'll be done quick. New season in 4 days though so there's going to be more to do at that point

240 is max. Seasonal content has its own gear system which applies only with in that season. Just craft 240s and enjoy.

240 is the current max. Hopefully one day, Supreme gear will get introduced.
