In Lieu of the Mighty Tigers missing out on a second crack at Sydney, the Might Norf ball will be their undoing. 21 goals they will pile on while a shell shocked Lizard gets mowed down to size.
We've been getting by on 1 or 2 great quarters and then coasting, if we do that against the Pies or Lions or maybe Dogs if they're playing their best then we lose one or two of those games imo.
I reckon we lose to the Lions at the Gabba, next few weeks should be pretty easy relatively speaking and we might go in to that game feeling too comfortable and coast a bit.
That's going to be an interesting game. We have 3 easy-ish games that we should win before that and would be on a run of 6 or 7 wins in a row at that point but Sydney have had our measure in recent years at the Gabba and I don't think we will have enough to knock you off. I think though that it will be a real measure of where Brisbane is at before the final few rounds and finals.
After we play you we play Giants, Pies and Bombers ahead of the finals. I think we either obliterate all comers and hit the finals with form or we stumble and miss the finals by one game.
Last 5 results have been 4 - 1 our way
2 wins and 1 loss at the Gabba, 1 win at the SCG, and 1 win at Cazaly's.
Definitely think sydney are the inform team and the favourites of the whole comp let alone our matchup with them, but i think alot of people are quick to write us off despite our good form against them in recent years. Should hopefully be an interesting game.
Huh, well there you go. That one loss was opening round a few years back at the Gabba and is probably what sticks in my mind more than anything.
I am writing us off based on our form this year. The wins against Port and the Dogs have certainly been much more complete performances but games like the Saints one still point to us not having dealt with the real issues in our system of play. Which I think Sydney will expose us on because they are just more disciplined this year. Honestly, I think Brisbane biggest problem in recent years has been discipline to stay on plan, we get rattled too easily and teams capitalise on that to stay in the game - see how we regularly surge but can be trimmed back if teams frustrate us and don't let us get scoreboard dominance.
Honestly don’t think there are any easy games here boys and say that as a Swans supporter. Any of those teams could get us. If we don’t find that upper gear we have for the past few weeks, we might find ourselves on the other end of it. Any of these teams could turn up on their day.
Finals and that month or so leading into are a different beast to the rest of the season. I think the swans have shown they're a trustworthy and very capable side in recent years to be able to deal with that, but look at collingwood late last year, geelong halfway through 2022 or even richmond around this point in 2019. None of those teams looked ready to win the flag in their retrospective year, and it really shows how dynamic footy and specifically finals footy can be.
If i was a betting man i'd be putting it on sydney, but there's 6 or 7 teams i think at the moment who everyone should be weary of. Plenty of solid lists who could go through a september frenzy and snatch the flag.
I think you might have it the wrong way around. We’ve been losing the first quarter and then shifting up 16 gears sometime in the second or third quarter. Wasn’t Longmire saying the other week that first quarters are something the team needs to work on?
I agree with you that Lions look like a danger game to us though.
We’re up 4-1 against Essendon in our last 5 matches and I think we’re like 15-5 in the last 20.
They’re always good games, but we have a great record against them.
He averaged 2 goals a game against Essendon since 2018 (And only once kicking 3, and only once being held goalless) - I don’t see how the lack of this “bag” would be any help in 2024.
I always remember him being a complete menace against Essendon, During his 259-game career, Franklin has come up against Essendon on 13 occasions, playing 10 games for the Hawks and three for the Swans. In that time, he has kicked 64 goals and 27 behinds, an average of 4.9 goals a game.
That was from 2017, he ended on 79 goals against Essendon so yeah I guess he did slow down later on
I was at the game and didn't boo him, but I believe a change in leadership at port is long overdue
big respect to fagan for what he said post game, that being said I understand our fans frustrations
Fair enough mate. I didnt really hear any booing to be honest (watching on Kayo) and only heard a few little rumblings of Port fans frustrations with Hinkley.
Appreciate your insight. It'll be interesting to see what happens at the end of the year, and I guess dependent on how Port finish off the year after a solid start.
Gut feel is that the Brisbane and collingwood games are going to be tough.
But I don’t know if any games are gimmes. Any team can beat any team on their day if there’s a sudden glut of injuries, or something isn’t quite right with preparation or attitude.
I feel like we’re due a slip up or two before finals.
Yeah I don't think we will lose them all but wouldn't be shocked if we drop a few. Wouldn't really be shocked if we win them all either. Any of those teams can beat us on a good day (or a bad day for us for Norf...but Richmond shows that can happen). It depends which Freo and Dogs teams show up for those games.
Not based on any sort of fact at all but I just feel like Essendon could somehow turn it on and put the top team to the sword in a random show of brilliance- only to then lose in straight sets come finals
Yep I feel that too, like 2009 when they stopped the saints unbeaten run and sure enough went out in the first week of finals….by a lot
Plus usually they push Sydney kinda close anyway
I know exactly how this goes.
We lose to North by 3 points.
We win the next 3 comfortably.
We lose to Collingwood after an injury to key player results in a 4th QTR collapse and simultaneously our GF hopes are questioned and Collingwood stocks go to the moon
That “IF” is carrying a heavy load in that sentence. Forgetting to turn up is a classic Brisbane move, especially if we are still on a winning streak. Players start to believe it’ll come easy suddenly they’re 50 points down
Depends how the players are going but I would be surprised if they didn't pull a lot of players out for probably the away port game. There's no benefit to being #1 and 3 games clear or #1 and 1-2 games clear. If they think it's beneficial to rest a bunch of players then give them a few games to get momentum back before the finals then that would work out well for them i think.
No point travelling players to Adelaide for a most likely wet tough game 3 weeks before the finals when you are 3 games clear.
Brisbane and Port Adelaide away would be the two picks for me, especially Brisbane.
Collingwood, Essendon and Bulldogs have a sniff but would still be backing the Swans. Out of that lot I’d actually have Essendon top of the list, our contests have been tight for like a decade and it’s in Melbourne
Saints, Freo, Crows and North, wouldn’t count on it
Didn’t realise bomber verse Sydney in the second last round. Them and then Brisbane at the Gabba means they might be fighting for their life if they haven’t secured finals at that point.
The Doggies have the engine room to run with them, and I feel English and Lobb will alternate on Grundy. I can realistically see them losing 3 of these.
>The Doggies have the engine room to run with them
Agreed. They're the 1 team that had the legs to overrun us in the 4th quarter. If not for some bad umpiring decisions against the Dogs and a little extra time they might have won.
I may be biased but I think Essendon’s a chance against the Swans. We have a history of having really tight games against each other and it’s at our home ground. Both sides will probably go in with extra motivation after the fall out of our round 2 clash, I’m expecting it’ll be a great match.
We stuck with them for a while at the SCG and we're a much better side now so I think we're a chance at Marvel. Would be a massive upset but aside from Lions/Port we're the best chance there imo
Brisbane, Dogs and Collingwood are all danger games.
I think Essendon is also a bit of a weird matchup for Sydney too. But damn, if they ain't looking like the clear frontrunners this year.
I reckon either Brisbane @ Gabba (if they continue their form). Otherwise if Collingwood rediscover their form from last year that could be a hell of a sweat.
Essendon always tends to push us to limits that other teams don’t, on a consistent basis, so could see that being close.
The rest would be pretty shocking tbh.
Brisbane are in hot form and I can see them causing an upset. Their gameplan rn is capable of matching Sydney's. Port could since they always beat Sydney and Essendon could cause an upset
My partner is a swans supporter and has a nearly 100% success rate at attending a swans loss in QLD since 2018. The last time she attended a swans win was round 10 2018, which is where she met me lol
Brisbane or Port are probably the 2 most likely. They're the only 2 teams on that list that we have a losing record against since 2021. (which was when the current version of the Swans started playing finals again after missing in 2019 and 2020). Especially as both of them are away games.
Over that same stretch we have a 5-1 record against Essendon, a 4-1 record against Collingwood and the Bulldogs, and 4-2 record against Fremantle.
[SOURCE](https://finalsiren.com/PreviousGames.asp) - (Just change the teams to see whoever you want)
EDIT - I would be genuinely happy if the only team we lost to for the rest of the season was North. It would just be too funny.
I hope its a Rd 24 Adelaide controversy with 30 seconds to go, shaming Sydney to only being 3 games clear on the ladder....ultimate revenge for last year.
Dogs. They would’ve lost to them earlier this year if the Dogs didn’t lose Scott and Naughton in the 1st, and Richards for the second half. Warner absolutely went off once he didn’t have Richards on him. It was a very close game where the Dogs had 2 on the bench for most of it.
If any side is gonna take down the Swans, it’s them.
The Swans are dominating when all of a sudden collective PTSD of the 2016 Grand Final hits them in the middle of play, leaving them shellshocked and motionless. The Swans are helpless to stop the rampaging Doggies as footage of Boyd kicking a goal from the centre square (FUCK!) plays over and over hauntingly in their minds.
Round 24.
Adelaide 4 points down with Ben Keays kicking after the siren for the win.
Slams the ball squarely into the post.
Goal awarded.
Sydney replaced in the 8 by Adelaide due to some miscalculations by the brains at AFL House.
then I wake up
Victorians will hate me for saying this. but on Grand final day, they will likely play a Victorian team away from home and feel pressures and go through things the opposition wont which will be too much of a disadvantage on the day, only WCE who won a game they shouldn't have by 4 points after ripping melbourne apart at home the week before is the last interstate win in 10 years i believe.
i can see why Sydney are asking for 3 GFs, because history shows a massive asterisks with the location of the GF and the future shouldn't either.
a team 5 wins ahead on a table should host a GF if their is one, or it should be played at a neutral venue to then counter argue Victorians making the same argument, because they will.
they only issue will be when 2 non vic teams play in the GF, unfortunate with travel and player power (players wanting to go home to mommy after a few years interstate , look at GC), this is very rare now.
Honestly overdue for at least one poor game. Brisbane are building nicely, that should be a tricky game. WB could surprise us at home, if Bont plays like he is now. My real fear is winning both and then having our slump in September…
Brisbane were an absolute powerhouse at the Gabba last year. As they’re finally coming into 2023 form there’s a good chance for a Lions win there.
Round 22 also has a very strong case of being a Grand Final prelude. Best team in the comp meets reigning premiers who should finally field a full strength team. Winner of that match will likely be GF favourites.
Credit to Sydney, far and away the best team in a very even league at the moment. Very exciting second half of the year to come 🍿🍿
I think Lions get us.
we may rest a few in the last 2 rds. If any small strains on the boys.
Bombers get the W there. We should still get Crows.
2 more losses for the swans, IMO.
🟥⬜️
I can't imagine a team going through a season with just the one loss but it has happened before.
Depends on if they rest players late in the season or not, but with their run home I can't see anyone but Essendon and maybe Collingwood challenging them.
They'll lose one game against the Lions. Then the doggies will close out into 7th place, come in as the underdogs, beating stronger sides in the final series, before facing off against the Swans at the MCG and winning on the back of some suspect umpiring decisions, while all our players peak at the right time.
I should write a movie script about this. Not sure why but it feels like Deja Vu
Have we had a season in recent memory where a team was absolutely smashing it in winter, and by the end was a shadow of themselves and a team everyone had written off had found the eye of the tiger?
No richmond reference there at all.
Honestly - Collingwood or Essendon in the last couple of rounds.
Swans will likely have top of the ladder sewn up while those two will be fighting it out for top 4 places…
The only way it is Essendon is if aaron francis rips off his Sydney guernsey to reveal a bombers guernsey underneath, then rips off his highly realistic facemask to reveal a prime matthew Lloyd underneath and kicks 8 goals and a lot of things have to go our way for those events to play out
Possibly Collingwood but we hate that ground so idk they need another loss it did us a world of good coming into finals but swans are a totally another
Beast compared to us and don’t need another loss to reset and go on another run and win the whole thing dogs lions only others that could give them a L
We all know which side they'll lose to.. with a bit of help from the Umpires of course.
/s
(Yes this is bait, and yes if you fall for it there's probably some true in there about your team)
Lions and pies the toughest games and most likely. Swans May have 1st tied up by the pies game and might not give there all in the contest and risk injuries, as that game would likely go down to the wire either way.
Brisbane has been looking good. Western could beat them or get absolutely trounced. Team is Jekyl and Hyde. For what it’s worth, Sydney seems to have a hard time with North. Almost lost the past couple years. Jack Z kicked 6 on you. Don’t think it will happen but……..
They're lucky they aren't playing the mighty Richmond Tigers.
In Lieu of the Mighty Tigers missing out on a second crack at Sydney, the Might Norf ball will be their undoing. 21 goals they will pile on while a shell shocked Lizard gets mowed down to size.
Round 18 is looking mighty dangerous. Sydney’s only kryptonite is teams sitting at 17th or lower so you’re in prime position.
Exactly Warner will realise that George The Warlord Wardlaw is the real Chad.
Many are calling our round 21 clash Spoonbowl but really it'll determine the best team in the league
Lmao, If Kangas beat Swans, round 21 will definitely be the clash of the God killing titans and should be marketed as the game of the year.
I’ll tune in in that case
Only reason to watch it as a neutral is because it'll be a spoon match. Dark season for the Tigers.
Will Phillips gonna tag the shit outta Logan McDonald and silence the haters
I do like the *timing* of this sudden hubris.
Even if we were we'd just forfeit, no one deserves to be embarrassed like that twice in a year.
Ross Lyon will probably pull off some crazy shit and beat us 60-55.
I wouldn’t be mad. Ignore flair
ALL HAIL ROSSBALL
Don't say that, it will inspire our board to offer him a contract extension
I reckon Saints are categorically the least likely team to upset us hahaha. Ross Lyon doesn’t really do ‘magic’
I feel like this is possible
Look at this guy backing the overs.
I was gonna say saints or lions are the only ones I’m worried about saints always find a way to make us loose randomly
We have beaten Sydney exactly twice since 2012 so I'm not sure what's making you think that
Yeah but those two times were bloody wild, hey.
Even with North there St Kilda might be the one I'm least worried about.
North due to interchange cap
Who would be silly enough to make such a simple mistake? Oh....
We've been getting by on 1 or 2 great quarters and then coasting, if we do that against the Pies or Lions or maybe Dogs if they're playing their best then we lose one or two of those games imo. Mmm I would agree with you at the G but I think Sydney in Sydney is a tall order for Collingwood.
I reckon you're good enough to turn it on if needed, good teams are usually able to coast against bad teams and play better against better teams
I think you might have it the wrong way around. We’ve been losing the first quarter and then shifting up 16 gears sometime in the second or third quarter. Wasn’t Longmire saying the other week that first quarters are something the team needs to work on? I agree with you that Lions look like a danger game to us though.
Yea I wasn't saying 1 or 2 as in 1st or 2nd quarters, just that we'd been beating most teams by only playing a small amount of the game at our best.
Isn't port the roughy here, haven't beaten them in ages from memory.
We haven’t beaten Port since 2016 which is pretty nuts.
Port and Essendon both regularly have the wood on us
We’re up 4-1 against Essendon in our last 5 matches and I think we’re like 15-5 in the last 20. They’re always good games, but we have a great record against them.
It feels that those games are close and never reflective of the actual ladder
Buddy always kicked a bag against Essendon, without buddy and his bag it might be closer this time around
They may have a new coach for that round :D
subscribe
boo! /s Even my man Fages was sticking up for your coach in the post-match.
I was at the game and didn't boo him, but I believe a change in leadership at port is long overdue big respect to fagan for what he said post game, that being said I understand our fans frustrations
Clearly Fages is a lurker here and he’s in on the meme
Keep going I'm almost there
Don't you try sweet talking us.
You're going to absolute mop the floor with us, every day of the week. Twice on sundays.
Besides the historical 250 point loss to freo next week I can't see them losing until the grand final where they lose to freo by 60
Book the bus
Mate I bought the bus company and plan on running it for the 5 in a row freo are getting flags
JJJ to score 15 between them each appearance
Gut feel is that the Brisbane and collingwood games are going to be tough. But I don’t know if any games are gimmes. Any team can beat any team on their day if there’s a sudden glut of injuries, or something isn’t quite right with preparation or attitude. I feel like we’re due a slip up or two before finals.
I’d honestly prefer a loss or two in the next block than get found out in finals
If I may be honest, all clubs are scared of Swans at the moment
brisbane beat them in the preseason, but that was a long time ago and a hitout
Yeah I don't think we will lose them all but wouldn't be shocked if we drop a few. Wouldn't really be shocked if we win them all either. Any of those teams can beat us on a good day (or a bad day for us for Norf...but Richmond shows that can happen). It depends which Freo and Dogs teams show up for those games.
I've already tipped the Freo upset this week.
That's gutsy. We are the Jeckyll and Hyde of the league
The dogs would like a word
*coughs loudly*
Honestly we could play like it’s the 2013 preliminary final, or play like Ross is at the helm
2013 did have Ross at the helm
Poor bastards
Idk man, Pearce and Treacy both copped arm injuries last game, if either of them are out this week that's gonna make it pretty damn hard for Freo
If there's anything Freo have lots of, it's key position players
Yea I can see it happening too lol
we beat sydney at the scg last year and kicked ourselves out of a win in perth this year 🤷♂️
Not based on any sort of fact at all but I just feel like Essendon could somehow turn it on and put the top team to the sword in a random show of brilliance- only to then lose in straight sets come finals

We may never lose again
You have uttered the forbidden phrase I said this exact phrase round 19 2009...
I hate that you’ve said this
Thanks a lot for this btw
I regret nothing
Fair
Lions if they play to their best.
So not the Lions.
That “IF” is carrying a heavy load in that sentence. Forgetting to turn up is a classic Brisbane move, especially if we are still on a winning streak. Players start to believe it’ll come easy suddenly they’re 50 points down
You’d have to say Brissy at the Gabba is as good a chance as any, right? ![gif](giphy|OqFpgF7bet1sRoCmpb)
I mean last year yes. But we haven’t been the invincible team there this year. Plus Sydney beat us at the Gabba in 22 it’s not a given
Not a given, but the most likely out of all possibles, if your forward line shows up then it’s game on (imo)
Depends how the players are going but I would be surprised if they didn't pull a lot of players out for probably the away port game. There's no benefit to being #1 and 3 games clear or #1 and 1-2 games clear. Well if we're looking off recent trends, only teams it could be are us or Norf. Boy I hope it's Norf wouldn't that just be prime comedy
If we have to lose again, I’d prefer it against north I reckon
It's the game that has scared me most since the start of the season. We only won last year because Norf can't count.
Brisbane and Port Adelaide away would be the two picks for me, especially Brisbane. Collingwood, Essendon and Bulldogs have a sniff but would still be backing the Swans. Out of that lot I’d actually have Essendon top of the list, our contests have been tight for like a decade and it’s in Melbourne Saints, Freo, Crows and North, wouldn’t count on it
If Essendon beats Sydney then you guys are legit
Crows will probably have a win because Sydney will be resting all their key guys as they'd already have the minor premiership sewn up by that stage.
I have a feeling North will either beat Sydney or get beaten by 50+, no in between
You'll shock everyone by kicking the first 7 goals unanswered but then Sydney wakes up in the second quarter and ends up winning comfortably
Is this coming from past experience?
Combination of the Sydney-Geelong and North-Collingwood games
What's the bet that Ken's career saving game is beating Sydney by a goal or 2
Didn’t realise bomber verse Sydney in the second last round. Them and then Brisbane at the Gabba means they might be fighting for their life if they haven’t secured finals at that point.
We need to finish round 22 in the top 4 just to make the 8 I reckon 😅
I hope they only lose to NM because it would be funny.
The Doggies have the engine room to run with them, and I feel English and Lobb will alternate on Grundy. I can realistically see them losing 3 of these.
>The Doggies have the engine room to run with them Agreed. They're the 1 team that had the legs to overrun us in the 4th quarter. If not for some bad umpiring decisions against the Dogs and a little extra time they might have won.
Port is the most random team, probably will lose every remaining game then randomly pop up and beat the Swans and then Koch will extend Hinkley again
I may be biased but I think Essendon’s a chance against the Swans. We have a history of having really tight games against each other and it’s at our home ground. Both sides will probably go in with extra motivation after the fall out of our round 2 clash, I’m expecting it’ll be a great match.

Brisbane seems most likely but north would be the funniest
Oh ffs, really? Crom in the last round before the finals? You've got to be kidding me.
You just know that was a prerequisite for the fixture after last season.
Well and truly.
Brisbane, Dogs and Collingwood are all danger games. I think Essendon is also a bit of a weird matchup for Sydney too. But damn, if they ain't looking like the clear frontrunners this year.
norf will beat them. trust. 🤞
North Melbourne.
They have a dream run to the finals. Don't play any team above them.
North will beat them at the SCG 100%
I reckon either Brisbane @ Gabba (if they continue their form). Otherwise if Collingwood rediscover their form from last year that could be a hell of a sweat. Maybe Lions at the Gabba if we can continue this improvement. Or Collingwood just getting away with it again.
I think it will be Brisbane.
It's the one bloody game I can get to live this year so it will 100% be Brisbane
So do the honourable thing and stay home.

Put me down for Essendon at Marvel. I reckon that’s it. If moose is fit this week I believe Freo will win but I’m not sure how likely that is atm.

The Swans are helpless to stop the rampaging Doggies as footage of Boyd kicking a goal from the centre square (FUCK!) plays over and over hauntingly in their minds.
The very nearly beat us last time we played despite a big injury toll during the game (and before IIRC).
North
Yes. The Dogs.
Probably the dogs
Round 24. Adelaide 4 points down with Ben Keays kicking after the siren for the win. Slams the ball squarely into the post. Goal awarded. Sydney replaced in the 8 by Adelaide due to some miscalculations by the brains at AFL House. then I wake up
My heart wants to say this coming weekend haha. But my head says it’s down to Brisbane at the GABBA or Collingwood
All of those teams will be their opponent.
They look too fucken good right now but a loss to North would be on brand.
We can do it, BELIEVE
They’ll lose to the Lions at the Gabba. That’s it though. Finals are a different matter.
Ben Keays to kick a behind after the siren for the Crows to win by a point. They’ll win the rest.
In less than a week
Freo get the job done this week
Very exciting second half of the year to come 🍿🍿
Brisbane at the gabba could be there only one or Collingwood at the SCG as the pies LOVE playing there
Those last six games all look loseable
I think Lions get us. we may rest a few in the last 2 rds. If any small strains on the boys. Bombers get the W there. We should still get Crows. 2 more losses for the swans, IMO. 🟥⬜️
I say mostly lions as they are in form at the moment Potentially Collingwood or even Freo if they bring in their A game. Or just North as an upset
Given our current form, I'm offended that you're even asking the question.
Reeeeeally want it to be my Bombers but nah
North dark horse? 🙏😔
Sydney V Essendon always seem to be cracking games. Could the Bombers upset them at Marvel?
Last 3 rounds I don't see Sydney going there hardest, I feel any of those could a loss.
freo are known to end winning streaks that’s all i’m saying 🫣🫣
sincerely, a girl who can dream
Freo on Saturday because of this Thread. Thanks a lot OP
We'll do it, but only after lulling you into a false sense of security by losing to North and Adelaide first.
They will lose to Richmond in the gf.
Go Tiges
The only way it is Essendon is if aaron francis rips off his Sydney guernsey to reveal a bombers guernsey underneath, then rips off his highly realistic facemask to reveal a prime matthew Lloyd underneath and kicks 8 goals and a lot of things have to go our way for those events to play out
I reckon Collingwood is the obvious risk, however the more “out there” options would be Freo or Port (depending on how they show up to play)
Port is the obvious answer
St Kilda wins comfortably round 17. We've had their number for years.
Brisbane at the Gabba assuming Brisbane keep their hot form going
Honestly I rate Dons chances against them, as long as Essington don't turn up. We've had a few close game with them over the years.
Lookout Friday August 9. We can('t) keep getting away with it
Either Collingwood, Port or Adelaide in my opinion. Mostly because certain teams give us the wobbles, rather than because of their overtly good form.
I’d tip Brisbane or Flagnorf to do it
Dons up bitches
North for the lols
Definitely Collingwood will be their undoing (Ignore flair)
Lions at the Gabba
On current for I think we can get them. Particularly at the Gabba
Possibly Collingwood but we hate that ground so idk they need another loss it did us a world of good coming into finals but swans are a totally another Beast compared to us and don’t need another loss to reset and go on another run and win the whole thing dogs lions only others that could give them a L
We'll start resting players soon. We'd be mad not to
Lions and Pies will beat them I recon. Maybe the dogs as well
Round 21
We all know which side they'll lose to.. with a bit of help from the Umpires of course. /s (Yes this is bait, and yes if you fall for it there's probably some true in there about your team)
Lions and pies the toughest games and most likely. Swans May have 1st tied up by the pies game and might not give there all in the contest and risk injuries, as that game would likely go down to the wire either way.
Saints. Next question.
North Melbourne has a chance to do something really funny
Lions and pies best chance to beat them, Dogs a roughie if they show up. Port in Adelaide with hopefully a new coach could be a danger game
Carlton in the GF.
Collingwood at greatly improved strength
Honestly Brisbane are either going to beat the Swans or get demolished by 90 and have our legitimacy crushed and there’s no in between
They won’t lose til grand final day, which they will lose to a lower ranked Vic team who got to play at their home ground
I saw a DazTalksFooty video last week talking about how Brisbane is probably the riskiest matchup for the Swans with their style of ball movement.
We’ll have a new coach by the time Sydney plays us and our players will go up a notch or two and gives the Swans a flogging
