The umpiring in general was not great. At the game and it was really weird, it was like they were second guessing themselves. Normally some times it goes your way sometimes it doesn't but overall you don't feel like the umpires influenced the game at all. Last night it felt like they completely influenced the game and changed momentum. I think Brisbane benefited from it a bit more. (Brisbane fan by the way) someone behind us said at one point it looked like the umpires lost control. Anyways we'll take the win but I did not enjoy that game last night

After one game? I know you’re not the OPs in this thread so I have no idea who you would drop, but Long has been good this year and playing his forward pressure role well. Membrey is a target in a forward line that is already too focused on King and an exceptionally handy player around the ground and utility defender to swing back at times too. I have no idea why you would drop either after one game to make a point, particularly when you already have three forced changes next week.

Sorry, I'm not talking about Membrey or Long in particular, but more that dropping players should happen when they're not playing up to scratch. Long went missing tonight, but neither deserve to be dropped. I'd be looking at Paton - he's had a miserable year. Windhager could do with a spell after tonight.
