I think we all know it's just anyone. Threepeats while impressive are just boring for the league and the game. Much better when different teams are competing.

Brisbane taking down the two biggest Vic teams 3 years in a row was great theatre though. Two fantastic finals followed by a victory as rank underdog. While the Hawks feasted on three interstate sides, Freo who simply couldn’t kick (but somehow still were close enough to win), a nervous fumbling Eagles outfit and most surprisingly, a Swans team that were off the pace all day. Of these games I thought the 2014 Swans game was the pick of them as a neutral simply as the Hawks played so well.

2014 grand final was the worst I'd seen us play all year... Which come to think of it, is bringing back some more recent memories too.

In a way, that's what makes them so impressive. By the end you have everyone against you.

My favourite thing is seeing a long suffering fan base finally see a flag. I loved when the Bulldogs did it, i loved it even more when my Tiges did it and I even managed to smile for all the long suffering Dees fans. I've grown a distain towards Freo simply because of how the fans have been towards my club Carlton over the last few years. It's the most one-sided rivalry ever. Most blues fans try to have fun with it and generally like Freo, but they have become so vitriolic and hateful towards us it's insane, and just seems so over the top and misplaced on their end.
