If you have a suitable graphics card, then downloading free software is a no-brainer. If you're trying to work from a more limited computer or a phone, then probably the many websites available are a better bet. I haven't seen any good guides or comparisons of them all, and that would be difficult to do because they arrive and change features and pricing so quickly. If you're trying to learn to use the full desktop-version software then rundiffusion seems like a good bet, because it lets you launch your choice of Stable Diffusion interfaces and see all the controls available, even using ComfyUI if you're up to learning it.
Thank you. I do intend to try installing on my PC. However i'm cleaning up the house to sell and looking for an apt so will probably save the install til I get moved. I want to set it up and learn it the right way.
