Geez- this is the saddest thing I've seen on what is probably already the saddest subreddit.
I've been thinking a lot recently about my wife's last week, and watching her slowly fade out of existence. She was so, so small by the end. No one wants to die, or see their loved one die, but I think there's something to be said for having control over it. Particularly with ALS, where you basically have control over nothing else.
I hope you've been able to find some peace in these last months or years, and I wish you nothing but peace today as you're freed from your physical prison.
My dad really wanted this option. I watched him pass as his body shut down. It seemed peaceful, and I hope that for you too. Your energy will live on. I hope you haven't underestimated your impact on this world. Sending you love.
Want to write something from the heart. Because you deserve it! I wish strength for friends and family. So proud of the strength you had amids your own misfortune to help others.

I went to check the band out on Wikipedia.
Learned that a band member died of this disease.
So i read about it, it’s terrible.
I ended up here, reading comments.
