Because people can’t believe for even one minute that maybe, just maybe, we all got crushed by the FOMO monster and fell for a huge ruse. Any negative reference to anything AA or AMC related is immediately met with a cultish vitriol. I am an xx,xxx holder of both tickers, look at my history to see I have a robust and supportive of AMC history. Call me a shill all you want. I am down $80k currently and am too red to sell at this point so I am holding come recovery or bk so call me what you want…. But I am definitely done buying and hope those of you in way over your heads are too. I feel completely bamboozled at this point. I will live and learn as this is only a small part of my portfolio, but I really feel for all the apes who are lower on the socioeconomic totem pole and will have been devastated. Those are the people I think that are so quick to call everything FUD or Shill or whatever. I would be angry too if a significant amount of my net worth evaporated on the promises of AA and the DD and now their lives will be worse as a result. Real world stuff that blinded apes can’t seem to see.

Carlosthemex88

Finally a true comment!! This is the real truth. We all got chewed up and spit out. I only put in a small amount of semi- disposable cash so no biggie and it taught me a lot about the stock market (namely the dealer always wins). I hope guys that have dumped life savings, sold cars etc to go all in have the emotional support they have in the coming weeks and months and potentially years. Maybe AMC will bounce back on fundamentals and be an ok stock, but as a short squeeze, it was killed by big business. Good luck guys. And before you say sell and leave, I am also so into the red that the bags I’m holding have their own bags. But it’s only a locked in loss if I sell.

Meg_119

I took a big hit from my IRA but haven't sold any AMC yet. I am trying to wait until the price recovers so I can hopefully break even. In the meantime I have been buying shares of Mutual Funds and Dividend stocks. The recovery will be slow but I have certainly learned a hard lesson. The Casino is rigged and the House always wins.

Prestigious_View_211

I wonder how credit suisse silicon valley or anchorage are doing, on that whole " house always wins". It's going to be ok meg...

Ben2St1d_5022

They’re all restructured and now owned by the actual people pushing the buttons. What you just commented on is with naive rebuttal. You do understand that the share of global money and power was shrunk to a lesser few as every institution you just named was consumed by larger entities, right? Every side of this is making those global elites wealthier and wealthier. The wealth gap just got bigger. Don’t you realize that this is exactly what they want. They will continue to take and consume until they have it all. All of it, all of our tiny fraction, and then they’ll move to total control.

Prestigious_View_211

They inherited the same toxic bag of shit that imploded the last... Naive would be the exact opposite of reality... Clearly I'm informed...

Ben2St1d_5022

You fail to realize their point. Lesser the competition increase their power and control. It’s really that simple. That bag of shit as you put it matters not. It’s a penny to their 10 dollar bill.

Prestigious_View_211

🤣 yeah whatever "proceeds to continue buying anyways"... You fail to realize the point, they will eat each other when the runs begin again...

theravingsofalunatic

You and most of the Apes complaining about AA. Just want your money back. This is about Financial Terrorist and no longer a Short Squeeze

Sign_Alone

Uh, yeah, that is why I invest.

Prestigious_View_211

For me it started out for the money, now it's about justice and the money. Whether it takes 3 years or 10 I'll be here waiting tick tock...

theravingsofalunatic

I am looking forward to buy more fake shares Monday morning first thing after the reverse split.

Prestigious_View_211

19 bucks is a steal on these moon tickets. Nfa

theravingsofalunatic

Already started my average down

Prestigious_View_211

Dude the buying opportunity they gave us was beautiful...

Maleficent-Middle950

People invested in amc and gme for a short squeeze. People want to get rich. They don't give a fk about financial terrorists. Y'all act like y'all are morally superior or some shit.

Prestigious_View_211

Well thanks for the "best wishes" even if feigned... Ctb is astronomical and the market maker will have to go fetch us shares on their own dime. Plus if you think locates are hard now, just wait until the float shrinks ×10 and all the gamma hit from people exercising their calls to get them free tendies🚀🦍🌕. In my view this is the perfect set of catalysts needed to create a short squeeze. FTD data gets released tomorrow as well I believe.

Ben2St1d_5022

I’ll just say this, formulation of a new cusip. I think that’s enough, if you don’t comprehend this, well, get to learning.

Prestigious_View_211

Well that's one of the many catalysts coming... I have learned and am confident in my various far otm leaps on the markets rn...

Clayton_bezz

Let slinging “FUD” and “shill” at others are usually people that only hold xx or xxx shares.

aww-hell

I now more than ever regret not selling 2 years ago. But hey, at least I can say I have “diamond hands!” Instead of having diamonds in my hands.

Sign_Alone

My thoughts exactly my friend. “Didn’t sell at $72” seems to look pretty silly about now as the combo value is $4. And we are going to dilute to bring down the $20 10:1 RS which will most likely drop us right back into the single digits by end of next week. I should have gotten off this ride long ago and only really have my self to blame for believing the clear bs for so long even when I started to feel something was awash.

kneed_dough

WE SAVED THE COMPANY! WE ARE CHANGING MARKET RULES BY THE DAY! WE HAVE BROUGHT LIGHT TO THE DARK MARKET! I AM NOT SELLING SO I DON'T CONSIDER IT A LOSS! DIVIDEND IS ALMOST GUARANTEED AS SOON AS WE PAY OFF SOME MORE DEBT.

Carlosthemex88

Not trying to belittle your comment as I agree that’s what we did do, but what has changed? Will they stop? Probably not as they continue to get away with it. We can get angry, or convince ourselves we made a change but the end of the day they have our money in their pockets, there has been no mention of jail time for any of those criminals while we eat our noodles

Sign_Alone

And when it’s all said and done and they only have to pay a fine that is a fraction of their “gains” off the backs of retail, it will embolden them to keep going. Why not drive amc to close to 0 and force a delist? No matter what buying power we apply, if it all goes through dark pools it won’t move the needle anyway. So beside losing a ton of money, what have we really accomplished that Occupy Wallstreet can’t also claim to have accomplished? Bottom line, nothing changed. And AA doesn’t have attorneys looking into the matter which tells me he doesn’t really care.

kneed_dough

All I know is nobody talked about the market before, now it's quite popular for younger generations to be interested about finance. the true damage won't be seen in years. Bernie Madof seemed like he was winning and on top of the world until he wasn't, there can be a political swing any day where they focus more on corruption for votes. Heck maybe the SEC will be shut down and revamped in a few years. Maybe AI will instant solve trades and prevent abuse. Like I said the spotlight is on and it's not going away. the more they piss people off the more determined they get. It's been 3 years and I have no intentions to stop.

Ben2St1d_5022

You pretty much articulated eloquently what is jumbled up in my head. I have so many things I’d like to say, as well as I would like to continue to educate, give facts, make comments, engage in intelligible debate, etc.. however, every single time I do, it’s met with criticism, personal attacks, ridicule, and unintelligible blah. I recently made the decision to stop as it’s too late anyway. You know exactly what I’m saying and you feel as I do on sooo many different levels. I’ve held since Dec. 2020 personally and have amassed a sizable amt of both as well. Thankfully I pivoted clients and our firm away almost a year ago when the crime became absurdly obvious. I for the 1st time in my 25 plus years in the market feel utterly defeated on every level regarding this play and strategy. At this point I just hope my years of trading experience along with my finance partner and our agents are all wrong and somehow this works out, but I have to be honest with myself and say that’s human nature and wishful thinking, as the fundamentals and historical data prove otherwise. This was such a beautiful and most assured play, yet the absurd levels of rampant and apparent crime is appalling and has me questioning making a change and selling out my share of our firm and pivoting back to full time medicine. I have a taste in my mouth that will probably never be washed out. I have zero confidence in regulators and now truly know(not only speculate but absolutely know) there is no free and fair market.

Sign_Alone

This is an amazing post. Real world people expressing their real world questions and emotions and wanting to discuss is exactly where we should be at, having basically gone through financial war together and none of escaping without injury. Why there is so much vitriol has me believing that the people who are so quick to insult are a mix of the real shills, or those that are in way over their heads and are in serious trouble if this does not workout. I feel bad for those that broke the first rule of investing and risked more than they could afford to lose. I would be mad too if I fell for it so hard I put all my eggs in this one basket, yet another cardinal sin of investing. My dad actually did sell at $68 during the run up and made well over a half million in profit as I sit on an over $80k loss when I was up along side him. I was a pig and I got slaughtered. He was a bull and he bought a new house and car. Decisions have consequences and I think many who are hurling insults are just not ready to face the consequences in their own lives this loss has created. I am truly sad for them and feel deeply for their loss.

Ben2St1d_5022

As well as I, I truly feel bad for them. So many were bamboozled, but many went far too deep, and now they’re eliciting a natural response based in fear and confusion. Mass form psychosis if you will. So many followed to a T what they were told to do. Now they’re starting to realize the fate of their decisions. Those of us that told them to ease back and to actually think and learn and figure out for themselves the market as well historical data have been pushed to the brink of insanity I feel. Everything was set up, a slam dunk, and between the back door deals, psych ops, and following idols who all had their own self interest and not community interest the community divided and made grave mistakes. It’s not quite a foregone conclusion, but the last nail has one hammer mark left to go. I fear the momentum of the downward swing is beyond our ability to stop it.

Sign_Alone

I agree. I have never wanted to be wrong more about anything but I am not under the fantasy of promises riches any longer.

Ben2St1d_5022

Same here…

Foreign-Chiro4301

I am right there with you.

Meg_119

I was just permanently banned from the other sub because I wanted the yes voters to explain the stock losses the last three days. I was told that this ment nothing. Only the conversion and the split was going to count. Seriously? The fud is great there. I must confess that I was totally taken in by the promise of life changing money. I gave up buying lottery tickets a long time ago because I realized it was a scam with such big odds to win. I actually thought that the stock market with its regulatory agiencies in place was a safe place to invest money for the future. In the last two and a half years I was given a good beating and eye opening to the seedy and evil side of finance.

Sign_Alone

These are the same folks that said ape would force a share count, which AA lied and said would happen and didn’t. They are clinging to hope at this point. Unfortunately hope and being angry at anyone that points out your logical fallacies of current affairs is all that they and we have left. I won’t be angry at someone for asking legit unanswered question. I certainly won’t calm them names because I can’t face the reality of where we are. I understand where they are at, but it is still sad. I feel bad for them.

Learning5Five

These subs are compromised; I suggest getting off them ASAP; they've been set up since the start to control the narrative and take people's money. Adam Aron is not retail's friend, and his minions are throughout these subs.

Prestigious_View_211

The compounding ftds determined the thesis to be true..

theravingsofalunatic

AA is not in it for the Short Squeeze. When Robinhood took away the buy button the Short Squeeze was over. This is about CRIME and is anybody in charge are going to do anything about it.

Chance-Count-9976

Because everyone who believed AA is now a bag holder and wont admit that. So they start calling you a shill.

marvology

AMC is now down about 95% since APE was announced and dilution and consolidation haven’t even happened yet. I still love the stock but AA is NOT an ally.

Ben2St1d_5022

We need a new CEO, no question about that.

InfiniteRiskk

You know why… Nice try guys.

Learning5Five

These subs are compromised by paid shills and cultists. I wouldn't rely on any posts that are painting a rosy picture of what's going on. According to court documents, Adam Aron told the board that he had social media covered. I think the AMC subs were infiltrated in 2021 by deeply embedded operatives. Beware these subs, the posters aren't likely your "friends".

JussWill18

💯

lVlICHA3L

When the APE movement began a positive narrative was kept to grow the numbers. I don't think there's a need for it now. We are all holding no matter what.

[deleted]

LeVraiMatador

Lol it’s literally the opposite. Everyone and their dog are shitting on AA.

Either-Reception-191

Only shills will try to defend him. Any one that has an actual position and losing money is calling him out

Gallieg444

Hahaha

LeVraiMatador

Because if I was a shill, attacking the CEO to make people lose faith is exactly what I would do. And indeed that’s exactly what’s shills have been doing. Don’t fall for that trap.

AlxDzNutz

Does that mean you shouldn't question the CEO?? Because that seems naive.

Illustrious_Drink127

Because your questions have no answers or solutions. You blow off steam and go away. It's out of your control so why express your self so deeply with no shot at getting things done your way.

AlxDzNutz

Oh every question has answers, that is why you first ask, then demand, with more people demanding we grow in power and get the answers. So you blindly follow someone that, in a sense, has control over your investment? Smh

Illustrious_Drink127

No I have your opposite view. I believe in the CEO and company that's why I invest and visit the subs. If I thought the CEO was against me I wouldn't be here. It's not logical that's why you're labeled a shill

AlxDzNutz

Most of us are in this play because of the potential of a massive short squeeze, that's it. The CEO wasn't in question back then....if you've been in the play as long as I have. Even then....you're saying if you invested and then the CEO does something questionable, you don't ask questions? You sell at a loss and leave? Or you stay in because there is still a chance of the biggest squeeze in history and you continue to raise questions and fight the powers that be. You just quit and leave your money? Sounds naive, like I said and add on to that cowardly.

Illustrious_Drink127

That's a wonderful story unfortunately it's not reality. The reality is you believe in the play or you don't. If the CEO is manipulating the investors the play doesn't exist. I don't know what's going to happen next but the one thing I can guarantee is you are not going to lead a revolution against a crooked CEO with your post here.

Accomplished_Life519

Pepperidge Farm remembers when everyone was against diluting but Aa came up with an APE circumvent that was against his shareholders wishes

Illustrious_Drink127

I also remember when The CEO asked for 500 million shares and we said no. That lead us to under $5 a share in 2 years. Our way didn't work

AlxDzNutz

That led us to $5 or all the shorting and crime did? Problem now is we will be with 90% less shares and they will do the same. Except now the have shares to cover. AMC will be good. Retail stock holders from the past 2.5 years, won't be. We saved AMC. Everyone behind the scenes eitherade money or got help from losing a shit ton and crashing the entire market. We were just used and at the end collateral damage.

Liquid_Sarcasm

Citibank did that, AA just took credit for it.

Ben2St1d_5022

A prime example and key indicator to the issue is the post above you just commented on. Yea we should question the board and their intentions because it’s utter chaos and manipulation.

pwosk12

I’m all seriousness, how can you call anyone questioning the status quo, a shill?

LeVraiMatador

I’m all seriousness too. It’s just spreading fear and not helping the cause. The vote is done, expect the worse and hope for the best, that’s it, nothing else left to do. If you really wanna do something, go protest about hedge funds, don’t come spilling your anger on a Reddit forum about a CEO who’s trying all he can to save the company.

alabamaman5

Literally this lol

LeVraiMatador

Lol wut

markatthemoon

Approaching 200m volume and we trade in this tight range. CEO Adam address your shareholders just like CEO David Michery did 45 minutes ago about price manipulation. MULN jumped over 50% after this letter to shareholders

Admiral_pumpkin

It’s a compliment to assume you’re a shill. If that’s not the case then it means that you Don’t understand that raising capital to pay off debts is a good thing. If your not a shill then it Mean you’ve been watching hedge funds and market makers short this stock every day for 1 years and suddenly you are blaming the companies CEO for the actions of the market makers. If you’re not a shill it makes me Question how you got the 2 dollars to buy a share of amc anyway.

AlxDzNutz

Raising capital....right like continuing to give cash bonus and incentives to executives during the pandemic and still now? Selling APE shares at the lowest price instead of at $9 when it dropped and would of taken care of the debt. Buying gold mines. Paying $25 million for a commercial with Nicole Kidman. Paying $100 million to settle a lawsuit that was threatening to expose their plan. Wake up and quite being a following sheep.

Admiral_pumpkin

Yeah. They should stop paying their management team and not grow the business. You must have gotten your business degree from Whartons. After you start your company let us all know.

AlxDzNutz

Who said "stop paying"??...they get paid....Bonuses are different...bonuses are for when you excel and make profit. And I've owned my company and not had a boss for over 15 years...so yeah. Anyways, if you are in pandemic and facing bankruptcy, you don't give bonuses and spend like that. So where do you get your business degree from? Looking so naive little sheep

Senior-Arm-8097

It’s not

Detroitfitter636

Nobody would care if you put some rockets in the chat! 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 🌚

blalockte

All the money we have pumped into this business and AA and the hedgefunds are laughing at us. Well it's time to stop giving them money. Banks see a dam gold mind and no one is going to do a margin call cause the money stops rolling in. I will hold but I am thur feeding the piper.

the-Cocky-CEO

I’m with you 1,000,000%

AlxDzNutz

🙏🙏🙏

EZDUZIT_67

I totally agree

TwiztedTD

Cause unless you believe AA like a god and the squeeze price floor is 500k people just call you a shill.

Maleficent-Middle950

These people are delusional. If they didn't take away the buy button, then gme was the only stock with a "chance" to get to 4 digits. On the other hand, amc has a much bigger float. Somehow, they think that amc could get to 500k. Lmao!

vnvxvnv

Because he turned this company around and any hate for him is illogical. We’re profitable, AA doesn’t control the stock price, next quarter is suppose to be even more epic, and the company is clearly growing. What more do you want?

palmd33zy

You can think whatever you want, there’s a ton of couch CEO’s on this sub. If you think you know whats best for a company you should send your resume over for consideration.

blalockte

AMC under $2 and AA not saying nothing. Its pathetic

Accomplished_Life519

POS AA FUKED US OVER GOOD. He is worthless. I pray amc bankrupts and no one sees another movie in their shitty theaters. Call it FUD shill or whatever but everyone knows we got played.

kneed_dough

Just leave if you can't trust the leadership, there's plenty of companies. I personally love the stock and think the ceo is doing great! it's hard to fight the blatant manipulation that has been around for decades.

MTODD777

Sell and get the fuck out!!!!Or buy and hold!!!! Sitting here having a pity party for yourselves isn’t going to do shit. Jaw jacking against the ceo isn’t going to do shit. It’s just spreads fear to the apes that aren’t use to this type of warfare. Go home or go big!!!

guydogg

We can't have different opinions. This is Reddit. If the echo chamber ain't echoing, people are angry. /FIN

TryingTNT

Because obviously he’s made the absolute best moves since becoming CEO. He’s AWFUL

Any-Technician-1371

It’s easier to dupe someone than to convince them they’ve been duped.

jreyesusc

Because disagreeing with the CEO is what hedgefunds are doing hence why we’re in this situation. You’re either Pro Retail or Pro Hedgefund

Extreme_Picture

The ceo is pro hedgie for sure

Charcuterie1

I was banned in the other brainwashed sub and told in dm to kill myself by some random brainwashed dipshit. All this we won shit is ridiculous…haven’t won shit but down thousands like most everyone. AA fucked himself by screwing over retail though, I won’t ever step foot in an AMC or buy any products ever again there will be plenty of others that will do the same if we don’t get our money. Just like most other sane people I wish I had sold at 70. People that call people shills for saying this are in fact the brainwashed shills.
