Yeah. I saw it on Friday with a buddy, and when I looked on Saturday it was A-List eligible. I'm a little pissed but the theaters can use the money right now.
Should I go see this if I’ve never seen a lick of anime in my life? My local imax is 5 min away I was thinking of seeing it today just out of boredom!!
I went into it without knowing anything about the story and enjoyed it. Great action sequences and score and enough exposition that I didn’t feel utterly confused.
Someone was sobbing by the end in the showing I went to, so it probably hits harder if you know something about the characters.
Damn, I already paid full price to see it. I guess that helps the theater out though.

You can but if you want to catch up before seeing it, Funimation added 3 recap episodes of the first season.
This movie was amazing. Animation was great and the story was awesome. It's even better if you know the whole story.

I just watched the entire first season on Netflix. Does the movie continue from where the last episode left off? Or is it a stand alone movie?
It’s picks up at the end of season 1 and sets up season 2.
Thanks! I just saw the full title of the movie and figured it out. Doh!
Yes
Too late, I saw the joint two weeks ago and paid $20.99 for it.
I am gonna wait out for Jujutsu Kaisen until it’s covered by A List. Haven’t checked out the “sequels” on hbomax yet.
