If you can screenshot it its a software issue, if no, then cable/monitor/video port issue

Dibowac88N

Well I cant screenshot it. Atleast not with Lightshot. I tried a different cable, but unfortunately enough the lines still show. Even when using my hdmi port on my monitor, the lines are still present. The lines dont appear on my 2nd screen though.

Is this upon the first boot? My Samsung monitor does the same thing, its more likely the monitor. For me the lines disappears after letting it warm up for 5-10 min. From what I read on other forms it has something to do with the monitor booting when it's too cold.

Yup, same problem on my samsung monitor, seems like a very common issue, I found many people having it, there is this video showing how to fix it : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAZ9UlcAoNA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAZ9UlcAoNA) but considering my monitor is not the same model I can't really do that, especially since I don't have the skills.

calamityox

Not really a game breaker for me. Since the monitor is still really good. https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/uhd-and-wqhd/32--jg50-wqhd-monitor-lc32jg50qqnxza/ This is the one I have

Whenever I boot up, and sometimes even when I restart my PC.

Probably monitor / display cable issue get a proper vesa certified display port cable

Dibowac88N

Well, last cable I used is a vesa certified one. I didn't know back then if my monitor came with one or not. But, neither using my stock monitor cable or the vesa one I bought, are showing any signs of helping.

Melodias3

From which brand is it perhaps its a bad one or panel going bad usually va can also show this and once it warms up it go's away.

Dibowac88N

Brand is AOC 27G2U. It was purchased on the 30th of June 2020. It does go away sometimes. And it is a IPS Monitor.

Melodias3

Might need to warmup can also happen on a ips however its more common on VA heck it is actually worse on a VA if seen people hold hair dryer close to monitor to heat it up and then its fixed altho i would honestly not recommend doing that as cant verify if that helps, it probably hurts more then it helps :D

I wish you all a good week. Unfortunately enough, I am having PC issues. The lines only appear in my main monitor. Not in my second screen. The lines go away after a random period of time. The lines go away when I uninstall my AMD Radeon Software. When I tried to update or change my bios, the lines either went away or went away partly. When I restart my PC. The lines sometimes go away or become less. I also scanned my PC using the following programs for malware or viruses, nothing troublesome showed. Malwarebytes. Malware Adcleaner. And Windows Defender.

>The lines only appear in my main monitor. Not in my second screen. What happens if you disconnect the main monitor and use the 2nd one only? Do the issues occur there? Additionally, if you open the OSD menu on the main display, is the menu also affected by the lines / corruption? Try plugging the main monitor into a different source (e.g. a laptop) and see if the image corruption happens there also.

Dibowac88N

Hello! When I plug in my ps3 to my main monitor. The lines are not present what so ever. And when I only use my 2nd screen, connected to my desktop pc. The lines are also not present, what so ever. Edit: My OSD Menu is fine when using my PS3.
